90+3 Almost a penalty! Boa takes down Emerton just on the edge of the box, yellow card.- 90+2 In the second of four minutes added time by the way. Emerton shoots well over.
- 90+1 E.Diouf down the left but his cross is hoofed away by Ben Haim. West Ham break, Piquionne down the right crosses but McCarthy cannot get a shot away and Rovers clear. Tomkins fouls Diouf (E), free-kick Rovers deep on their left just outside the box...
- 90' Pedersen curls it in and it almost sneaks in par post with Boffin flying but just wide!
- 89' Gabbidon gives away a free-kick on the right, Pedersen to take...
- 88' Stanislas finds Piquionne on the right, he cuts inside and shoots but well over. Should have crossed!
- 87' Parker brings it away with great skill West Ham are in here as Stanislas puts in a cross that Piquionne attacks but he can't get a header in and his faint touch takes it away from Parker arriving late!
- 86' Stanislas has another bite at it from the right but this cross is cleared. Decent finish now.

- 73' Parker with a slick ball in for Cole but a super tackle from Givet puts it out for a corner and sends Cole into the snow. He has a chuckle, at least someone can see the funny side!

- 72' UPSON HITS THE POST! Stanislas puts in a ball that ricochets off young Hanley and into Upson's path but he puts it on the outside of the left-hand post!
- 71' Pedersen and Parker clash in the middle of the park but Dean decides it was an accident, a heavy one on Parker who thuds to the ground in sickening fashion but wakes up quickly.
- 70' Ben Haim is all right it turks out. The fans have stayed away in droves though. Empy stands and I doubt it's just the snow.
- 69' El Hadji Diouf, of all people, puts the ball out for a throw so Ben Haim can get attention. Nice one.
- 68' Diouf telegraphs the dribble around Ben Haim but gets it back. Swung in and now Dunn has it, Ben Haim is down hurt but they play on!
- 67' BLACKBURN SUB: Hanley on for Jones.
- 66' Jones hurt himself as he flew in to put off Cole, ultimately resulting in that miss, and he has to be helped off the pitch.
- 65' Phil Jones is hurt... a delay in play as the medics come on the pitch...
- 64' POKED WIDE BY COLE! Great play down the right by Dyer, who surged in behind Givet, but Cole from the edge of the six-yard box couldn't finish!

- 60' Piquionne and Cole try to combine anmd while Diouf clears Boa gets hold of it and West Ham come forward again... Cole on the left, good low cross but Pedersen is back to hoof away!

- 52' GOAL BLACKBURN! Hmm, hardly the attractive football Venky's craved. Indeed, that is the worst goal I have ever seen. After Boffin's flap, Emerton swung it in from the right, Ben Haim stood like a lemon and Tomkins fell over, it came off Nelsen but Boffin made a grea save, Benjani kicked air and it trickled in off Nelsen's knee.

- 44' Great save by the legs of Robinson! A lovely through ball by Piquionne releases Boa Morte who, from the same position as Piquionne earlier, actually drills it across goal. Corner.

- 42' Great cross in from E.Diouf on the right but Boffin gets enough of a hand on it to clear from several Blackburn players flying in!

- 28' Boffin with a crazy decision to try and dribble a backpass away from goal, Mame Diouf catches him and insanely he carries on dribbling with it, only just getting the ball away from Diouf's second lunge!
- 27' Barrera holds the ball up on the edge of the box, he slips it back for Boa Morte but he drags a low shot well wide.
- 26' Parker surges forward but is dispossessed by Givet, now Dunn, he beats Ben Haim and crosses but no-one is waiting for it and out for a goal kick.
- 25' Poor corner, too deep from Pedersen and landing beyond Dunn at the far post.
- 24' The ball is back with Robinson who goes long. El Hadji Diouf reaches a Benjani flick and wins a corner off Gabbidon.

- 18' Blackburn keep ball for a spell before Nelsen looks long and Tomkins heads away.
- 17' Long ball down the Hammers right and Piquionne nods it back for Spector but the USA defender, playing as a winger at the moment, smashes it well over.
- 16' Boa with a pull on the shirt of Emerton after a heavy touch ended his hopes of a break.
- 15' Throw to Rovers on the left now, which Pedersen will take. Surprisingly he looks short and then tries a backheel to Dunn, but that one-two does not come off because Dunn was not expecting it.
- 14' That spell of Rovers pressure breaks down and West Ham bring it away. Boa Morte wide to Piquionne, who does well to keep it in, turns Givet inside and out and fires well over! The angle was too tight for that, he should have crossed. Dyer was in there.
- 13' Benjani gets hold of the ball on the edge of the box and he goes down with three West Ham defenders around him but play on.
- 12' Upson with a strong header to touch, Givet, playing left-back, will take.
- 11' Piquionne plays in a low ball from the right but big Chris Samba smacks it clear.
- 10' BLACKBURN SUB: Benjani on for Roberts.
- 9' Both sides exchange the long balls the sacking of Big Sam was meant to eliminate.
- 8' Looks like the end for Roberts. He fell out of favour under Sam Allardyce but was handed a start today by interim boss Steve Kean. He limps off... A muscle injury so no chance of continuing. Benjani gets ready.
- 7' Diouf with a nice ball wide right that Roberts races after but Upson slides across to put the ball out for a throw. Roberts is hurt. Oh no, he'd only just got back in the team! Looks like his hamstring, not warm enough on a chilly day.
- 6' Nelson gets in a bit of a pickle after Emerton misses a clearance but the Kiwi defender nicks it away from Dyer.
- 5' Upson is the latest West Ham defender to foul Diouf, some way out though after they wrestled for a ball in the air. Pedersen again to take, 30 yards plus from goal, but he shoots a yard wide.
- 4' Pedersen is over it, just to the right of the D, he curls it left footed and it takes a big deflection to beat Boffin but flies over for a corner!
- 3' Mame Diouf bursts into the area and he goes down a bit late after Gabbidson slid in just outside. Not a penalty, free-kick on the edge... And early test for Boffin....
