    • Blackpool
    • Fulham
    • 94 That's it from Bloomfield Road. It finishes 2-2.
    • 93 Gilks denies Simon Davies with a well struck effort from distance.
    • 92 Varney sends another effort just over the bar.
    • 91 We're into injury time here...
    • 90 Adam sends another cracking long-distance effort just wide for Blackpool.
    • 88 Fulham sense they could grab a winner here...
    • 87 Etuhu powers his way down the pitch and picks up Dembele's brilliant pass before calmly lofting it over the keeper. Lovely goal.
    • 86 But this time Fulham do score! It's 2-2!! And it's Etuhu!
    • 85 Another disallowed goal! This time Clint Dempsey puts the ball into the Blackpool net but he is offside.
    • 82 Can Zoltan Gera repeat his pre-season heroics against Werder Bremen, when he bagged a swift hat-trick?
    • 81 Gera on for Murphy (Fulham)
    • 80 Great trickery by Dembele on the edge of the box before he unleashes a terrific shot which sails just over.
    • 78 Fulham are all over the place.
    • 77 Varney picks up a throughball, takes a touch, and fires beyond Stockdale to the far post. Tangerine Dream!
    • 76 GOOOOOAAAAAALLLLL!!! Varney scores! It's 2-1 Blackpool!
    • 75 Adam comes close for Blackpool with a tremendous turn and snapshot on the edge of the box. Corner.
    • 74 Varney comes close again! He's everywhere! His shot goes just wide
    • 72 The ball found its way out wide to Varney on the right whose shot went beyond Stockdale and Pantsil, trying to stop it going over the line, diverts it into his own net.
    • 71 GOOOOAAAAALLLLL! It's an own goal by John Pantsil! Blackpool 1-1 Fulham
    • 69 Grandin puts a cross in from the left and Ormerod heads just over. Blackpool asking the questions at the moment. Fulham look weaker for having lost Zamora.
    • 66 Simon Davies gets arush of blood to the, er, foot and fires over after receiving a short corner on the left. Should have crossed.
    • 63 Eardley is on for Evatt (Blackpool)
    • 61 Blackpool have another goal disallowed after Varney apparently fouled the keeper Stockdale. It was Grandin who put the ball in the net but it won't stand.
    • 60 Looked as though Zamora just jarred his lower back in an aerial challenge. Not sure how serious it is but Mark Hughes taking no chances.
    • 59 Dempsey is on for Zamora
    • 57 Zamora is down receiving treatment.
    • 55 Hangeland concedes a corner under pressure from Varney.
    • 53 Hughes plays a perfect long ball to Zamora who beats the offside trap and strokes a tantilising low cross across the face of the Blackpool goal but there is no one there as Davies arrives to late.
    • 51 Blackpool get the ball into a packed Fulham box where there are shouts for handball, as Evatt's shot seemed to strike the arm, possibly of Hangeland. No penalty awarded.
    • 48 Fulham clear their lines and counter attack with Zamora, but his pass out to Davies on left is too strong for him to catch.
    • 47 Dembele fouls Adam and Blackpool can launch an attack here.
    • 46 Zamora is straight into the action, causing Baptiste some early problems. Eventually Baptiste gets to better of his man and clears the danger.
    • 46 The second half is underway...
    • 45 Blackpool faded after the goal but there is a gulf in class here. Blackpool will need to maintain the tempo they showed in the early stages if they are to grab a goal here.
    • 45 That's half time. Fulham lead 1-0 and deserve their lead.
    • 43 Fulham seeing out half here and Blackpool will welcome the chance to re-group during the break.
    • 41 Played short to Danny Murphy, who cuts inside and fires a low shot just wide of the near post. Decent effort by the Fulham skipper.
    • 40 Kelly forces a corner on the left for Fulham...
    • 38 Adam, the Blackpool skipper, fires a venomous shot just wide from 20 yards. They're not going to lie down here.
    • 36 Excellent free kick whipped in from the left by Davies which finds the head of Zamora again, but he can't keep his header down this time.
    • 35 It's backs against the wall for Blackpool now as Vaughan shoves Zamora. Fulham free kick...
    • 33 1-0 Fulham! Bobby Zamora heads in from a wonderful cross by Dembele, who was fed down the right by Duff. Zamora couldn't miss and Blackpool are behind.
    • 30 Blackpool fall asleep in defence and hand Zamora possession on a plate but the England man can't capitalise as Blackpool surround him like a swarm of wasps.
    • 28 Zamora gets away from Cathcart brilliantly and waits patiently for Davies to arrive in the box but the Welshman's shot is blocked in the box. Open game this.
    • 27 Blackpool are ahead in possession, leading with 57% possession.
    • 25 Hangeland puts the ball in the back of the net! But his header is disallowed for a push. That's 1-1 in disallowed goals.
    • 24 Etuhu heads just wide, but it's deflected out for another corner.
    • 23 Fulham win a corner and are turning up the pressure here...
    • 21 Luke Varney is causing Pantsil all kinds of problems as he gets behind the Fulham defence and shoots just wide of the far post. Varney has been bright.
    • 18 Fulham break with real purpose for the first time and Zamora, just onside, gets to the byline and cuts it back to Dembele who seemed to be upended as he was about to shoot, but the referee adjudged it to be no foul.
    • 16 Blackpool have a goal disallowed for offside. The cross from the right by Evatt was met by the head of Ormerod but he was clearly offside.
    • 14 Taylor-Fletcher is causing problems again and wins a corner on the right.
    • 12 Fulham win a free-kick some 30 yards out and Zamora slams it straight into the wall.
    • 10 Beautiful skill by Duff to skip away from some heavy looking Blackpool tackles, but it's few and far between for Fulham so far.
    • 8 Taylor-Fletcher a handfull again for Fulham, Blackpool shading the physical battle here.
    • 5 Fulham clear but they are failing to establish a rhythm so far, Blackpool smothering them in midfield so far.
    • 4 Taylor-Fletcher is proving to be a handful for the Fulham defence. He's forced a corner.
    • 3 Blackpool starting the stronger here with some early pressure of David Stockdale's goal.
    • 2 It's bright sunshine in Blackpool, illuminating a sea of orange in the crowd.
    • 1 We are underway. Premier League football comes to Blackpool for the first time.
    • 14.58 We are moments away from kick off at Bloomfield Road....
    • 14:45 So Fulham boss Mark Hughes opts to keep Dembele alongside Zamora after the Belgian impressed in the 6-0 Cup win over Port Vale, with Clint Dempsey making way. Otherwise the same starting line-up as that which drew with Manchester United, with Zoltan Gera remaining as a sub despite a brace in midweek. Young defender Briggs is rewarded for his excellent performance in that game with a place on the bench.
    • 14:40 Ormerod and Varney gets starts for Blackpool while Evatt returns from suspension in the Carling Cup following his sending off in the 6-0 thrashing at Arsenal. Harewood is out, with Sylvestre dropping to the bench.

    • 14:25 Fulham have won six of the last seven league meetings with Blackpool, but Blackpool are unbeaten in their last nine home games and Fulham have won none of their last 19 Premier League away matches...

  2. Since August 2009 (QPR away,) Blackpool have conceded quite a few vital goals that have come down the middle. On some occasions, a foul, in front of goal, has been our desperate response to this problem. Perhaps our midfield could cut out more of those clever, first incisive passes that are the beginning of the damage?
Mind you, we don't want to start amassing yellow cards in midfield or 'start to play rugby,' as Mr. Wenger might put it!
