    • - Don't forget you can watch highlights of this match, along with every Premier League game, from 00:01 on Monday morning (UK only).
    • 90+7' FULL-TIME! Chelsea lions in the first half, lambs in the second. All credit to the visitors for coming back strong to get the draw, but Chelsea's fragility was not solved by bringing back Terry and Essien. Much to ponder for Carlo Ancelotti, who end the day third in the Premier League.
    • 90+7' We're into the dying moments - Chelsea heave the ball forward but it ends up - eventually - in Howard's hands.
    • 90+6' Ferreira emerges with the ball after Bilyaletdinov and Fellaini pressure Chelsea on the edge of the box. The hosts look shaken here. It's been a very unconvincing second half.
    • 90+5' BECKFORD! Great control to find some space and turn Ivanovic, but a terrible shot - made worse by the fact that he had Rodwell and Bilyaletdinov available for simple passes.
    • 90+4' Fellaini fires a cross-come-shot across goal from the left. Nobody gets on the end of it but at the moment the visitors look the likelier to score.
    • 90+3' Baines takes a free kick from deep - Chelsea look to have dealt with it but suddenly it pops back to Fellaini whose shot from the edge of the area is blocked.
    • 90+2' Sturridge felled by Jagielka from behind. Not a good challenge, and it's a justified yellow card.
    • 90+1' Jermaine Beckford is the only Everton man to score from the bench in the Premier League this season. It could be a crucial one.
    • 90+1' SEVEN ADDED MINUTES TO PLAY AT STAMFORD BRIDGE.
    • 90' Fellaini flashes a shot from range over the bar. At the other end Chelsea go route one and Howard has to clean up.
    • 89' Cahill tries a cross from the right wing - Essien blocks - do the Toffees back themselves to win?
    • 88' It was a really good Everton goal, and they've been the better side in the second half. Remember, though, that after that knock to Cech we could see 7-8 minutes of injury time.
    • 87' Everton change Pienaar for Bilyaletdinov - while Mikel is off for Chelsea as Sturridge comes on.
    • 86' BECKFORD LEVELS! GREAT GOAL! It starts with Baines who dances three challenges and crosses to the far post for Cahill - he pops it back to Beckford who fires in from close range!
    • 84' Essien - will he dance through the back four - almost! He settles for a good short pass right towards Kalou, but he doesn't get his shot away quick enough.
    • 83' Pienaar in a little pain for Everton here but the tables have turned - Chelsea piling forward in search of a second.
    • 82' CHELSEA CLOSE! Essien's ball to Ferreira, a perfect cross towards Cole, and the left-back cannot get a decisive touch on it under pressure from Coleman. Hints of a penalty? The Everton man slid oin on Cole and he is furious that the referee waves it away!
    • 81' Good work from Drogba to get into a dangerous spot in the box - real strength, but he cannot get a shot away.
    • 80' Ivanovic shepherds Coleman out of play as Everton try to get forward again.
    • 79' Good work from Cech - he stays alert as a ball from deep misses everyone and requires him to claim it.
    • 79' Terry has to concede a corner as the Toffees continue to press. Baines prepares to take it, but this is not one of his better deliveries.
    • 78' Chelsea change - Ramires on, Anelka off. Play restarts.
    • 77' Round of applause from the Stamford Bridge faithful as Cech rises to his feet. There's always shades of Stephen Hunt whenever Cech tries to grab the ball at a striker's feet.
    • 76' Terry and Cahill still talking, though slightly less aggressively here. Terry has picked up a booking, by the way, for the way he reacted - as has Coleman for Everton.
    • 75' Cech lost a contact lens in the midst of all that excitement, he's just having it put back in.
    • 74' Cech stitched up just above the forehand on the pitch. We're still a little while away from play resuming here.
    • 73' Cech receiving some attention here - Cahill looks interested only in the ball in the replays, but it's a very nasty contact and referee Lee Probert is talking to the captains of both players.
    • 72' Cahill slides in looking to get on the end of a Pienaar through ball, and Cech is down here - it looks like he caught the goalkeeper in the face with the studs up. Terry is furious with him.
    • 71' Cahill brings down Mikel - he's one man who's not been below his best in this Everton performance. Time starting to run out at Stamford Bridge.
    • 70' Ranging pass crossfield from Jagielka to pick out Baines - he cannot quite control it but Pienaar latches on to the ball and tries to keep the play alive.
    • 69' Coleman's run down the right is thwarted - Cole clears to get Chelsea on the move. Everton look just to have lost a little something in the last five minutes.
    • 68' Distin checks another Chelsea runner and steers him away from goal! This time it's Malouda - great work from the centre-half.
    • 67' Drogba holds up the ball well but then tries the impossible and cannot turn past the three men pressuring him. He looks OK to continue, though.
    • 66' Drogba is feeling that same area which he looked to have strained in the first half. Continuing for the moment.
    • 65' Chelsea change - Ferreira on for Bosingwa. Right-back for right-back, Portuguese for Portuguese.
    • 64' FLASHED ACROSS GOAL! IT'S JAGIELKA WHO GOES CLOSE! Really tense times for Chelsea, and if Jagielka's header wasn't close enough, Rodwell was very near to flicking it in at the far corner!
    • 63' Cole has to concede a corner as Baines delivers another ball from deep which worries the back four.
    • 62' Another move from the visitors, and this one ends with a Coleman header gathered by Cech. Chelsea have to weather this storm - it's a real test of their confidence.
    • 61' RODWELL HITS THE POST! BUT HOW DIDN'T IT GO IN? Baines run and cross from the left, and a great header from the young midfielder which left Cech stranded - but despite hitting the insideof the post it comes back across the face of goal and safe!
    • 60' Half a chance for Drogba - who finds himself a little space but gets no power behind his shot - comfortable for Howard.
    • 59' Oh dear, Jermaine Beckford - he wins the ball 50 yards out, and immediately shoots. It's a spooned effort, which gets ironic cheers from the crowd.
    • 58' Great defensive play from Jagielka to close out Drogba and play the ball out to Neville, his right-back. He and Distin have been very, very good today.
    • 58' Chelsea have a throw in just inside their own half, and that's the opportunity Everton will use to switch Saha for Beckford.
    • 57' Rodwell starts on one of those bursting run from midfield, but the wind is taken out of Everton's sails when Coleman fails to keep his pass in play.
    • 56' Possession in the second half is 56-44 in Everton's favour. That's a complete turnaround from the statistics in the first half. The visitors are giving a better account of themselves so far in this period.
    • 55' Chelsea have not scored in the second half of their last five Premier League matches - is that a ray of hope for David Moyes' men?
    • 54' You sense these could be the minutes which decide the match - Everton opening up a little in the hunt for an equaliser, but Chelsea capable of striking with the venom of cobras on the break.
    • 53' A little more invention from Everton, as they find their way into the box once again in the second half.
    • 52' RODWELL CHANCE! Half a chance from the outside of the box, but he did well to keep his shot low and try to drive an effort through the penalty area melee - just wide this time.
    • 51' Baines takes the free kick Everton had from the Saha foul, but despite another good-looking left-footed delivery, the ball doesn't break their way. Saha trudges back on to the pitch, looking somewhat pained.
    • 50' Saha is in some trouble here, having gone down with an injury. The physios will be very concerned - his career has been blighted by one knock after another.
    • 49' Baines wins a throw in his own half after a battle with Kalou, and will try to get Everton moving down the left flank.
    • 48' Everton will hope for more from Cahill - he had a very quiet first 45 minutes, and didn't link up with Saha much.
    • 47' Ivanovic plays in Malouda, who tries a quick ball for Drogba which is a little overhit.
    • 46' Can Everton mount a comeback? The stats don't favour them - Chelsea have won their last 24 Premier League home matches when they have been leading at the interval.
    • 45' The second half begins! It's Chelsea who take the kick-off.
    • 45+1' HALF-TIME: Chelsea ahead, and deservedly so. They've been the better side, and though they didn't create a glut of chances, they played well enough and took advantage of their moment of luck. Can they hold on? If they do, they'll end the day back on top of the Premier League. Stay with us for the second half in a few moments.
    • 45' Mikel picks out Drogba with a ball forward - he chests it but takes the ball away from goal as he does so. Chance gone. One minute of stoppages to play.
    • 44' Easy passing from Chelsea at the moment - they're not surging foward, just passing and moving with patience.
    • 43' Didier Drogba ended a run of seven Premier League matches without a goal. It was Drogba’s third ever Premier League penalty – all three have been scored in victories at Stamford Bridge. Not a good sign for the visitors.
    • 42' Nevillle can scarcely believe his error - he gave Howard very little chance to salvage the situation. A bad time to concede after containing Chelsea for most of the half.
    • 41' DROGBA SCORES! Howard guesses the right way but Drogba's shot is full of power.
    • 40' DISASTER FOR EVERTON! PENALTY FOR CHELSEA! A horror backpass from Neville plays in Anelka, and Howard is stranded trying to deal with it. He brings Anelka to the ground as the Frenchman tries to move around him - and he's lucky it's only yellow.
    • 39' Good challenge from Pienaar this time to deny Essien a chance to take a shot from the edge of the box. The visitors have had to make a few of these last-ditch challenges, but they've doen so well.
    • 38' KALOU HEADS WIDE! Good corner in from Malouda, and Kalou rose to it well - but he glances his effort wide of the target when he really ought to have doen better.
    • 37' Distin has done some exceptional work for Everton today - he holds off Anelka this time, who has to settle for a corner.
    • 36' Half a chance for Everton in the penalty area - it breaks to Coleman as Terry's clearing header falls into his path. He tries to play the ball across to Rodwell six yards out, but it is intercepted.
    • 35' Drogba walks off and it looks as if the problem is his groin - he is set to return to the field of play, however. Nasty slide, and we'll have to keep an eye on him and see how his game is affected.
    • 34' Drogba falls to the ground looking somewhat pained - and that's not good news - he slid and there was nobody near him.
    • 33' Rodwell has the chance to shoot when the ball breaks his way - like many of the efforts on goal today it's too far out and ultimately harmless.
    • 32' Everton looking a little leaden-footed as they try to build slowly. One errant pass from Pienaar and Chelsea in just two passes get up to the other end.
    • 31' Remarkable defending from Ivanovic, who has to slide in to stop Coleman's impressive run through the middle, and he then has to repeat the trick a second and a third time to get Chelsea out of their own half.
    • 30' Bosingwa with the ball on the right. He cuts inside, looking for a way through, but not seeing a pass he opts to shoot - and he needn't have bothered - long way over the bar.
    • 29' Really enjoyable passing play from Chelsea - when they get it right, it's slick, along the ground, and very quick.
    • 28' Yellow for Neville, who climbs all over the back of Drogba in an attempt to win the ball. The booking is probably in part for the earlier challenge on Malouda.
    • 27' Messy moments from both sides - Everton eventually clear and break upfield. When they do, it's Didier Drogba of all people who has tracked back and broken up the move.
    • 26' CHELSEA HIT THE BAR! TERRY! His first shot from the corner is blocked - it bounces back and he tries a floated effort which beats Howard - but comes back off the woodwork!
    • 26' Just stern words from Lee Probert, the referee, and a Chelsea free kick for the original foul - they go upfield and Mikel tries a shot from distance which wins a corner.
    • 25' MALOUDA AND NEVILLE CLASH! Poor challenge from Neville but Malouda retaliated - this one will take a bit of sorting out.
    • 24' A spark of life from the Toffees - a couple of good crosses from the left which interest Saha - not quite finding their mark but it's better from Everton.
    • 23' Midway through the first half already. It's been Chelsea who have been the better side throughout, but this game is still level.
    • 22' Bosingwa tries a cross from deep which picks out Drogba on the edge of the area. Might he have taken a touch? His attempt at a volley is harmless, and he had a little more space than he realised.
    • 21' Saha is looking lonely for Everton up front - he's chasing long balls as the visitors hoof away clearances whenever they can.
    • 20' ANELKA! Warning shot from Chelsea after Drogba held up the ball and played him across. The Everton defence sat back and let him advance, enticing him into a shot from 25 yards which he dragged a couple of yards wide of the post.
    • 19' Neville wins the visitors a throw after Malouda is forced to clear. He'll take the throw himself - another long one into Fellaini, and another wasted one, as two Chelsea defenders outjump him.
    • 18' Anelka looks for just a moment as if he's broken the offside trap to meet Essien's through ball - but not this time.
    • 17' Essien wins a corner after a stylish passing move - Chelsea playing well, if not yet creating any clear-cut chances.
    • 16' Chelsea down to third as it stands - Arsenal have taken the lead against Fulham through Samir Nasri and have leapfrogged the Blues provisionally into 1st.
    • 15' Long hopeful ball from Everton pays off as Cole gets the final touch on it - Everton throw near the corner flag.
    • 14' MESS FROM HOWARD! He dropped the ball having rushed forward to deal with Kalou, and he can consider himself very lucky that the ball doesn't break Kalou's way and Jagielka can clear.
    • 13' Chelsea win a corner as Anelka's shot is blocked by Jagielka. Everton are firmly on the back foot - you sense a goal could be coming for the Stamford Bridge faithful.
    • 12' Bosingwa is having a lot of room to advance down the right flank and he puts in another testing low cross. Kalou tries to flick it on, but ends up taking too much pace off the ball.
    • 11' The cameras cut to Lord Coe in the crowd for today's game. Tough week for one of the leading men behind the 2018 bid - I wonder if Abramovich invited him as n olive branch?
    • 10' Everton stats - Phil Jagielka is making his 350th English league appearance while Steven Pienaar is making his 100th Premier League appearance.
    • 9' Great cross in from the right from Bosingwa, and it's Distin again who is on hand to intercept the ball before Drogba can arrive.
    • 8' Terrific defending from Distin to hold off Drogba as the Ivorian powered his way towards the box. The centre-half clears the danger.
    • 7' Pienaar scoops a through ball forward toward Saha - nearly a very special pass from the South African.
    • 7' Fellaini also loses the ball in the centre of midfield - Essien the one to catch him out, and nearly backs it up with an exquisite first-time pass down the left to Anelka.
    • 6' Malouda intercepts Saha's ball to Fellaini and that gives him a chance to surge down the left. Great run, but the ball ends up with Howard in the Everton goal.
    • 5' Promising ball down the left from Cole almost picks out Anelka's run, and Chelsea are beginning to open up a little.
    • 4' Ancelotti looking very stoic on the bench. It's been a turbulent month for the Italian, and much of it is not his own doing.
    • 4' Strong play from Ivanovic on halfway to win the ball from Pienaar and get Chelsea back on the move.
    • 3' If Chelsea lose today it will be the first time in eight-and-a-half-years they have lost back-to-back matches at Stamford Bridge – since losing 3-0 to Manchester United (April 2002) and 3-1 to Aston Villa (May 2002).
    • 2' Chelsea aim to settle down a bit. Bosingwa, Ivanovic and Essien exchange some passes as the Blues stroke the ball around patiently.
    • 1' Free kick in a good spot on the left, too! A great start for the visitors, but Baines' delivery is plucked out of the air by Cech.
    • 1' Early shot for Saha! It broke to the Frenchman after Terry failed to clear, and he fires a powerful shot low to the near post which Cech has to save.
    • 1' Away we go!
    • 14:59 Everton will be playing in their away shirts, which are white. The respective captains Terry and Neville shake hands, and we're just about set to begin.
    • 14:58 Players out on the field, flags waving. Kick-off not far away at all.
    • 14:57 Chelsea second, Everton 16th - but curiously the Toffees have only been beaten once more in the league this season than their opponents.
    • 14:56 Chelsea have games against Spurs, Manchester United and Arsenal coming up this December. There's a lot of pressure to get a win on the board before this one starts. Premier League December fixtures
    • 14:55 Good time to be Roman Abramovich, by the way (is there ever a bad time?). He was one of the delighted Russians celebrating their hosting of the 2018 World Cup.
    • 14:50 Five other Premier League games take place this afternoon - you can keep in touch with all the major events in those games by clicking this link here.
    • 14:45 KEY MAN FOR EVERTON: Tim Cahill. He has scored in all three of the club’s matches against big four clubs this season and has netted in each of his last three Premier League matches.
    • 14:45 KEY MAN FOR CHELSEA: John Terry. The club have won 73% of their matches this season with him in the team, and only 25% without him.
    • 14:40 And that's of course because table-topping Manchester United were due to travel to Blackpool today, but the weather has claimed that game and it's amongst a long, long list of matches and meetings which have had to be postponed. Check the full list of postponements here.
    • 14:40 Chelsea will go top tonight - albeit having played an extra game - if they beat Everton today. Check the latest Premier League table
    • 14:40 HEAD-TO-HEAD: Despite Everton's unbeaten run of four games against the Blues - make no mistake, this is a game that history says favours Chelsea. The two sides have met 36 times in the Premier League. Chelsea have won 16, Everton five and there have been 15 draws.
    • 14:35 EVERTON: Jagielka was a doubt for today but he will start in central defence for Everton. Phil Neville is back after a knock to his knee, and Marouane Fellaini is back after suspension. Missing, however, are Mikel Arteta (suspension) and Tony Hibbert (ankle).
    • 14:30 CHELSEA: Could Chelsea's form return today? Carlo Ancelotti is able to pick John Terry in defence after his recovery from a sciatic nerve problem - just as well with Alex now out for surgery. Michael Essien is in as well to boost the midfield and The front three of Anelka, Drogba and Kalou remain a potent threat.
    • 14:30 Chelsea have picked up only four points from the last 15 available. Only Fulham (3), Wolves (3) and today’s opponents Everton (3) have picked up fewer points over the last five Premier League matches.
    • 14:25 Everton may be 16th, but they are unbeaten in their last four Premier League matches against Chelsea, since a 1-0 home defeat in April 2008. This is Chelsea’s longest current winless streak against another top flight club. Only Liverpool (6 matches) and Aston Villa (5 matches) have had longer unbeaten runs against Chelsea since Roman Abramovich bought the club in 2003.
    • 14:20 So the teams are up on a cold afternoon in west London. Chelsea desperately need to get their season back on track, but they'll find it hard work against Everton.
    • 14:15 CHELSEA: Cech, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Terry, Cole, Essien, Mikel, Malouda, Kalou, Drogba, Anelka... Subs: Turnbull, Ramires, Ferreira, Sturridge, Bruma, Kakuta, McEachran... EVERTON: Howard, Neville, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Fellaini, Rodwell, Pienaar, Cahill, Saha... Subs: Mucha, Heitinga, Bilyaletdinov, Beckford, Osman, Yakubu, Anichebe... Referee: Lee Probert (Wiltshire)
