    • 89' Oh golly. Kalou was a shade offside. Who's the referee again? Andre Marriner. Lucky charm - this will be their fourth London derby win with him in charge. That was very tight though - I certainly didn't notice it pre-replay.

    • 49' Essien is left in a heap but no foul. Drogba whinges at the ref about something and, refusing to give him the ball back, is booked for being a rude so and so. That was funny, like a child refusing to give the ball back to his mum.
    • 48' Super run by Ivanovic and he could be in but what a tackle from Sandro again! Brilliant intervention! Chelsea feel it was a foul but no way.

    • - So... Do you think the argument for video technology is absolute now? Personally I feel you'd have to be a bit of a fool, or really old, to suggest otherwise.
    • - Well then - I feel compelled to clarify the rules. The whole of the ball must cross the whole of the line - it does not even need to touch the line at any point, just so long as any part of the sphere overlaps with the paint. In this case there was clear overlap - about half of the line.
    • 45+2 Half-time and a very controversial 1-1: the lino Mike Cairns has made a boo-boo. The whole of the ball needs to cross the whole of the line and he wasn't even remotely level to make the call. Oh dear.
    • 45+2 Lampard slides Malouda clean through, great ball but he miscontrols and Gomes saves at his feet!
    • 45+1 But wait! The linesman's given it! Spurs are furious - and rightly so! It didn't fully cross the line! A howler from Gomes but a total blunder by the linesman as the ref was right the first time.

    • 45' Spurs are showing some resilience, clearing another corner. Drogba is very deep picking it up on the right.
    • 44' Poor ball from Drogba, headed clear. Chelsea still keep the ball though. Another poor cross from Drogba but kept in by Malouda, who wins a corner off Kaboul.
    • 43' Malouda with a good ball but Corluka does not hear the shout to leave and he knocks behind for a corner.
    • 41' Cole with a super low ball and Lampard slides in to finish but a super challenge from Sandro!
    • 40' More good play by Modric as Pav shoots but blocked. Spurs purring into action now. Corluka and Terry collide, the England man very late. Lucky not to be booked.

    • 18' WHAT A GOAL FROM SANDRO!! Just after Redknapp advises him to sit deeper with Spurs overrun in midfield, he gets forward and smashes an unstoppable strike into the top left! Boom! Took a tiny touch from Modric I think. Tiny.
    • 17' Bale and Van der Vaart exchange passes on the edge of the box but the latter's shot is blocked by Luiz.
    • 16' Malouda cuts in from the left and unleashes a low, right-foot drive that Gomes holds comfortably.
    • 15' Through ball aimed for Torres is a bit heavy and taken comfortably by Gomes.
    • 14' The loose ball drops to Essien, whose low shot is easy for Gomes this time - by the way the keeper got a touch on that free-kick. Fine save.
    • 13' Free-kick to Chelsea all of 30 yards out... Le Drog fancies it, a long way out... HE HITS THE BAR! What a shot! Power, pace, dip and a right crack on the woodwork. A touch lower though and Gomes probably would have got to it.
