    • 90+4' That's full-time, and Brede Hangeland's late header gives Fulham a deserved point! A superb game, and Manchester United drop their first points of the season.
    • 90+3' Berbatov looks for half a yard at the edge of the box but he is well dispossessed by Hangeland.
    • 90+2' Yellow card Greening for a slightly unhinged challenge.
    • 90+1' Fulham: Zoltan Gera replaces Simon Davies as the board goes up signalling four minutes of added time!
    • 90' GOAL!!! FULHAM ARE LEVEL THROUGH HANGELAND!! He rises to plant a towering header into the right corner of the net!! Van der Sar does brilliantly to get a hand on it but he cannot keep it out!
    • 89' MASSIVE PENALTY SHOUT for a supposed handball by John O'Shea, but the replay shows it hit the Irishman's backside!
    • 88' Here come Fulham now as Konchesky finds Zamora with a diagonal ball... United cannot clear...
    • 87' Nani steps up... SAVED!!! A mediocre penalty from the winger but Stockdale dives to his right to push it away!
    • 86' PENALTY!! Duff adjudged to have handballed, but he just cleared into his own hand, it cannot possibly have been deliberate!
    • 85' Manchester United barely deserve to be in front, but they look like they will just sneak this thanks to that unwitting Hangeland intervention.
    • 84' GOAL!!! OWN-GOAL BY HANGELAND!! The corner hits the big Norwegian on the shin, and the ball squirts between Stockdale and the man on the post. Agony for Fulham!
    • 84' United fail to make the most of another set piece, but the win yet another corner after Scholes finds Nani and the winger's cross is headed behind.
    • 83' Vidic wins the header again, but is off-balance and sends a difficult chance wide.
    • 82' Nani crosses from the right to Owen, who heads down but cannot find either Berbatov or Scholes... put out for a corner.
    • 81' Fulham: Jonathan Greening replaces captain Danny Murphy, who tosses the armband to Aaron Hughes.
    • 80' SO CLOSE ZAMORA!! Konchesky curls the free-kick into the box and Zamora volleys a yard or so wide! He should have squared to the unmarked Etuhu!
    • 79' Vidic uses an arm to hold back Dembele, and the debutant wins a free-kick.
    • 78' Error by Konchesky, resulting in a corner for the visitors. Giggs to take... Vidic heads wide!
    • 77' Nani fires it goalwards... it goes a couple of feet over, wasteful.
    • 76' Murphy is guilty of a foul and this is a good opportunity for United by the left corner of the box.
    • 75' Evra crosses low from the left but Hangeland is in the way and cuts it out.
    • 74' Manchester United: Ryan Giggs and Michael Owen come on for Antonio Valencia and Javier Hernandez.
    • 73' Now Damien Duff is booked, and to be perfectly honest I'm not sure why...
    • 72' Fulham look the better side here, and are growing in confidence.
    • 71' Danny Murphy! The Fulham skipper curls a shot towards the bottom right corner but Van der Sar is equal to it!
    • 69' Yellow card Jonny Evans after a tussle with Zamora. And a dangerous free-kick for Fulham.
    • 68' berbatov collects with his back to goal, turns and fires low... straight at Stockdale.
    • 67' It is indeed Park who makes way for Nani.
    • 66' Hernandez is clattered as he flicks the ball away. A touch of 'welcome to the Premier League' about that one.
    • 65' United are preparing to unleash Nani - I would imagine in place of Park.
    • 64' Vidic appears to be tuggnig Dembele inside the box and that is surely a penalty... NO!! Peter Walton is not giving anything today!
    • 63' O'Shea gives the ball away and Fulham come away on the break... Davies looks inside from the left but cannot find a team-mate.
    • 62' Fulham change: A debut for Moussa Dembele, signed from AZ Alkmaar. He replaces Clint Dempsey.
    • 61' Park feeds Hernandez who tries a shot from 22 yards... fires well over! Should have hit the target.
    • 59' Berbatov heads down for Scholes who goes down inside the box... a penalty shout, but not a very convincing one.
    • 58' A deserved equaliser from Fulham, who have been vibrant and imaginative this afternoon.
    • 57' GOAL!!! SIMON DAVIES EQUALISES!! Duff skins Evra, cuts inside, plays it down the line for Zamora who pulls it back and Davies fires in from the penalty spot! Van der Sar gets a touch but cannot keep it out!
    • 57' Fulham free-kick 28 yards from goal. Zamora and Konchesky stand over it... Zamora smashes it into the wall right-footed, then sends a left-foot volley well wide.
    • 56' And this from Opta Joe: Of Paul Scholes' last 12 Premier League goals, 10 of them have come away from home. Roamer.
    • 55' Chance for Fulham after Evans unnecessarily takes it out for a corner.
    • 54' This stat courtesy of Infostrada Live: Paul Scholes has now scored in 17 successive Premier League seasons, only failing to do so in the two before he made his debut.
    • 52' Fulham win a corner as Davies's shot is deflected behind.
    • 51' Valencia finds Scholes inside the box, the ball drops and he hits it... left-foot shot is blocked!
    • 50' Vidic is back out and seemingly unscathed after that injury scare...
    • 49' Evra chests down a long diagonal pass brilliantly but runs into Hughes and Fulham clear.
    • 48' Pantsil heads behind with Hernandez lurking... but it's a poor corner from Valencia.
    • 47' Fulham have changed their shirts at half-time - apparently they retain an unnatural amount of sweat.
    • 46' Fulham kick off the second half, and they will have no shortage of belief that they can take something from this.
    • 45+2' That's half-time, and it's an open game, but Manchester United lead through that brilliant Paul Scholes goal.
    • 45+2' Vidic will soldier through to half-time. A strange injury, though...
    • 45+1' The United skipper Vidic is down after making an unchallenged header. A strange one - has he tweaked a nerve?
    • 45' Dempsey turns and fires well over from just over 20 yards.
    • 44' Evra releases Berbatov down the left flank, but the ball bounces out of play.
    • 42' Hangeland goes through the back of Hernandez and that's a free-kick to United.
    • 41' More willing running for Zamora, who tries to find the unmarked Dempsey but has his pass blocked.
    • 39' Danny Murphy 'does a Scholes' on the man himself and somehow avoids a booking!
    • 38' Winger's tackle by Valencia on Davies - first booking of the afternoon.
    • 37' Valencia robs Konchesky and plays in Berbatov, who completely mis-kicks his shot!
    • 36' Another Etuhu chance, this time a difficult glancing header... it goes over.
    • 35' Fabio Capello is sitting in the crowd next to Hugh Grant... just thought you might like to know.
    • 34' Konchesky crosses from the left, Zamora heads down and Scholes tidies up.
    • 33' Park slides a low pass in fron the left flank towards Hernandez, but Stockdale is alert and dives on the ball.
    • 31' AMAZING SAVE!! Van der Sar saves from Etuhu but appears to be helpless as Etuhu hits the follow up, but the goalkeeper somehow reaches up and claws it over the bar!
    • 30' Pantsil attacks down the right and the ball comes into the feet of Zamora at the edge of the box. Fulham are definitely in this game.
    • 29' An open game here, and another chance for Berbatov as he flicks a header over!
    • 28' Fulham are once again disappointed as Zamora goes down in the box under pressure from Evans - no penalty. That would have been a soft one.
    • 27' Berbatov goes for goal from 25 yards. There is plenty of venom in the shot but it is straight at Stockdale.
    • 25' Duff goes down claiming to have been pushed by O'Shea, but referee Walton sees nothing wrong again!
    • 24' Zamora flicks on at the edge of the United box, but finds only the feet of Evans.
    • 23' Good chance Fulham!! Konchesky crosses from the right, Zamora rises to meet it and glances his header wide!
    • 22' Hernandez shifts the ball and goes for goal left-footed... Hangeland blocks it!
    • 21' Murphy and Hughes contrive to give the ball away to Fletcher who feeds Hernandez, on to Berbatov whose shot is parried for a corner by Stockdale.
    • 20' The visiting fans are making a tremendous noise. And there are a few red shirts in the Fulham seats. Manchester United fans in the South East of England - whatever next?
    • 19' Fulham have recovered a little after that early onslaught. They are starting to enjoy a little success passing down the flanks.
    • 17' Long range effort from Dempsey, reminiscent of his World Cup shot against Rob Green. Van der Sar, being Dutch, collects easily.
    • 16' Wonderful United move, Berbatov starting a slick passing sequence inside from the left for Hernandez, who drives a left-foot shot wide from 20 yards.
    • 15' Hernandez is penalised for backing into his man. A little harshly...
    • 14' Damien Duff lets out an audible yelp as Valencia clatters into him. No foul, says referee Walton.
    • 13' DAVIES!! He attempts an acrobatic volley of his own but sends it narrowly over!
    • 12' Magnificent goal from Scholes, who we are reliably informed is favourite for Player of the Year. Well, he's had a good first game and a bit.
    • 11' GOAL!!!! PAUL SCHOLES!!! A corner is laid back to him 30 yards out, and he absolutely lashes a 30-yard shot low past Stockdale!
    • 10' BERBATOV!!! Hits an acrobatic volley from 10 yards and Stockdale denies him with a superb save! Fast start from the visitors.
    • 10' Fulham under siege at the moment, as Pantsil makes yet another defensive headed clearance.
    • 9' Superb slick passing between Park, Berbatov and Fletcher, but the Scot's attempted return pass to Berbatov is intercepted.
    • 8' O'Shea crosses from the United right... headed clear by Pantsil.
    • 6' Good skills by Van der Sar to trap a pacy Vidic backpass, turn Dempsey and strike a clearance.
    • 5' Zamora has been felled by a clash of heads - no mean feat. But he is soon back on his feet.
    • 4' Davies tries an overhead kick from Zamora's chipped pass inside, but it's a poor effort. Weak, and straight to Van der Sar.
    • 4' Pantsil meets a crossfield pass to the United left and heads back to Stockdale.
    • 3' Now it's Fulham's turn to pass the ball around sideways. An attractive start from both sides, if not an incisive one.
    • 2' United quickly on the attack, switching it left for Evra, who pauses and plays it sideways.
    • 1' Game on at Craven Cottage! Manchester United kick off, playing from right to left in their red and white 'home' kit.
    • 15:58 The teams emerge from the corner at Craven Cottage, and we are just a couple of minutes from kick-off!
    • 15:58 So the pecking order of Manchester United is clear: Rooney - Berbatov - Hernandez - Owen. (then Macheda and Bebe)
    • 15:55 Fulham have scored in eight of their nine Premier League home games against Manchester United.
    • 15:50 United have lost at Craven Cottage in each of the past two seasons, failing to score in each match. Only two sides - Chelsea and Southampton - have won three consecutive home games against United in the Premier League. Those defeats are the only two occasions United have failed to score against Fulham in the Premier League.
    • 15:45 Should Manchester United win this match, they will have collected 1500 points in Premier League history; the first team to do so.
    • 15:40 Hughes on his ex-boss Fergie: "I've never come up against a weakened Man Utd team and maybe he likes his former players to know our place! He's always competitive but has a lot of affection for guys who have played for him and taken the next step through to management. My relationship with him now is probably better than when I was a player. As a player I was grateful he allowed me to play in his team and that was it, but now I'm a manager we're closer."
    • 15:35 Chris Smalling is denied the chance to start at his former club as Jonny Evans continues in place of the injured Rio Ferdinand. Wayne Rooney did not travel due to a bug so Javier 'Chicarito' Hernandez gets a start alongside Dimitar Berbatov. Patrice Evra has shaken off a knock, while Best Old Player In The Whole World Ever (tm) Paul Scholes continues in midfield. Park Ji-sung is in for Nani.
    • 15:30 No surprises for Fulham, as David Stockdale continues in goal with the unsettled Mark Schwarzer still out with a back problem. Philippe Senderos, Andy Johnson and Diomansy Kamara are long-term absentees, while new striker Moussa Dembele starts from the bench.
    • 15:25 Referee: Peter Walton (Northamptonshire)
    • 15:20 TEAMS - Fulham: Stockdale, Pantsil, Hughes, Hangeland, Konchesky, Duff, Murphy, Etuhu, Davies, Dempsey, Zamora; Subs: Zuberbuhler, Kelly, Baird, Gera, Riise, Greening, Dembele /// Man Utd: Van der Sar, O'Shea, Vidic, Jonathan Evans, Evra, Valencia, Fletcher, Scholes, Park, Hernandez, Berbatov; Subs: Kuszczak, Owen, Giggs, Smalling, Carrick, Nani, Rafael Da Silva
    • 15:15 Fulham boss Mark Hughes welcomes former club Manchester United to Craven Cottage in the Premier League, LIVE from 4pm.

  5. @435 football league doesnt work in a chain like that..if blackpool win 1-nil against mu,it doesnt make blackpool the best team like you are using that irrelevant theory..haha..a league is where you collect points throughout the season..that's a fact..let say mu score that penalty,i bet mu fans will say "a penalty is still a goal and we grab the opportunity"..btw,they still against the 12th place team in the last season..which ended with a DRAW..but when man city won against 7th place team(liverpool) for 3-nil,they said the reds are always weak or something like that..its mostly because of mu fans jealousy that these 2-3years man city had loads of money and establishing themselves..one way or another,mu dont deserve to win because they had an own goal and fulham not having their chance for a penalty as well..

  9. Peter Walton ought to be sanctioned for clearly cheating for manchester utd.

When Duff cleared that ball and it hit his arm, Walton gave manchester utd a VERY DUBIOUS penalty.
He also refused to award a fulham penalty for a clear FOUL ON DEMBELE BY VIDIC IN THE BOX.

The English FA should uphold the good image of English football by

    SANCTIONING PETER WALTON.

  13. @cf123 there it goes again..keep on saying about the past..the past had long gone and looks like MU's era at its end..chelsea won back the trophy last season and im afraid it will goes to them again this season..and about man city, the past 30++ year, did they have a rich owner?you have to look into that and eventhough they didnt win anythin yet, after the owner came in they improved dramatically till they get 5th place and any team would need to take some time to settle down..if chelsea and arsenal had consistent performance, most likely MU finish 3rd and if that happen, there will just be a big smile of mine.. :-)
