45+3' Half-time at Anfield and it's uproar. Koscielny's injury looks like it could be a bad one...

All you scouse losers have now had a first hand reality check on Joe Cole.... what does your new manager think he is capable of getting out of him that proven managers such as Gus Huddink. Carlo Ancoletti, Cappello and Jose Mourinho were sceptical about? Do you think that Chelsea would have failed to hold onto him if he was capable of doing the business? believe me and 50,000 other Chelsea supporters you have been conned into giving him a pay day that he does not deserve.....The other reality checks you very sad losers have to take on board is Torres and Gerrard...ask yourselves why not one offer for them was tabled? I'll tell you one is totally burnt out after single handedly carrying you pile of poo for many years and the other is simply an injury prone she boy.

lucas didnt start so im happy wit that...liverpool always get a hard start to every season ..past 5 years spurs twice villa arenal..look at man u the past 5 season..i know uv to play every team twice at some stage but the last few season is just taking the p iss

Love the fact that Reina scored own goal ... it's only the first game of season, both teams have rust in them... but i see both teams improving...its gonna be a better match when these two teams battle again!!

whats the story with fabregas

I've read a few comments on here. Not one single Arsenal fan has given credit to the way Liverpool defended in that second half. We shut out a title contender for 50 mintues with 10 men. Surely that says something. Arsenal deserved a draw by the way the played, but with the score a 1-0, Liverpool deserved to hold out, and they did really lol, so i don't know if it was a fair result lol.. It was an enjoyable game, but we have to take the outcome and how it happened on the chin and move on. Credit to Arsenal they did play a good game.

Arsenal didnt deserve it, possession are possession but goals makes difference.

Liverpool should have won the match, they were the better side, not throughout, but for most of the match. My lads did well to play for so long with only 10 men, if not 9, with injured Agger. No way should Joe Cole have been red carded, especially on his debut, how un-comforting.

pfft~ draw~

Arsenal is crap,Chamakh is crap.Could not win ten men.

liverpool should have one that match
