    • 90+4 GREAT CHANCE FOR SPURS!!! Kranjcar loops a free-kick in Kabol gets his head to it before Al Habsi but he puts it wide.
    • 90+2 No sign of a late push from Spurs this is really pretty awful....
    • 90+1 Kaboul runs forward and then gets caught in possession.
    • 90' Wigan have the ball in the corner again looking to wasted time.
    • 89' Wigan also made a change....Stam went off...I did not see who came on - it has all got a bit hectic.
    • 88' Big shout from the Spurs players for handball from Alcaraz but the referee has given it as a free-out the other way.
    • 87' TWO GREAT saves from Al Habsi in the space of a minute – first he tipped over a long drive from Kranjcar and then batted away a Pavlyuchenko effort from the resulting corner.
    • 85' Wigan playing around with the ball in the corner as they look to kill so time.

    • 79' ALCARAZ MISSES AN OPEN GOAL FOR WIGAN!!! Great low cross from Rodallega and the centre-half if there to just tap it in but he fires it over.
    • 79' Wigan have actually had more attempts on goal than Spurs (10 to 7)
    • 78' Huddlestone curls a nothing shot wide - it really should have been one for the left foot there.

    • HT And there is the half-time whistle. Very much a Champions League hangover from Tottenham they scored nine in this match last season but have not really looked like getting one so far.
    • 45+3 Huddlestone tries to expand the pitch with a pass into the corner but he overhits it and Kabol can't control it.

    • 45' Groans from the home fans - they are just waiting for something to happen.
    • 43' Hendry Thomas has been booked for leaving the boot in in midfield.
    • 42' Spurs messing around in midfield and McCarthy just comes in a takes the ball and runs all the way to the edge of the area before finally being tackled.
    • 40' Great work from Defoe as he turns Gohouri before running into the box…he had Boyce all over him but still managed to poke a shot away with his right foot and it goes just wide.
    • 38' Rodlallega curls an effort wide after Dawson produces a poor clearance after some good work from Stam.
    • 36' Wigan have a chance to put a ball of their own into the box from a free-kick but McCarthy puts too much on it and it goes wide.
    • 35' But again Wigan see out the danger…keep calm…and White Hart Lane is pretty quiet again.

    • 15' Attack ends as Crouch puts a header out near the corner flag from Assou-Ekotto's cross.
    • 15' The corner leads to a spell of pressure that leads to.....another corner after Lennon's cross is deflected away.
    • 13' Bale has a shot that is deflected off a Wigan head away for a corner – will this finally get Spurs going – they have been awful so far.
    • 12' Another SHOCKER from Assou-Ekotto and he is robbed in possession after messing around with it – Stam nicked it off him and rang into the box but again Wigan could not creat a chance.
    • 10' Few whistles from the Spurs fans as Al Habsi takes a goal kick – they don't think he is time wasting already?
    • 9' And now Tottenham nearly fall asleep at the back and it looked for a moment like Wigan might be in again before Spurs finally cleared but they need to wake up here.
    • 8' OFF THE BAR FROM WIGAN…Rodallega whipped the corner to the far post….Alcaraz headed it across the goal where Steve Gohouri then volleyed off the underside of the bar.
    • 7' Palacios gives the ball away which allows Wigan to build and they have won another corner.
    • 6' After all the goals they have shipped you might expect Wigna to cram the midfield but Rodallega seems to playing right up close to Boselli.
    • 5' Ball over the top looks for Defoe but there was too much juice on that and he might have been offside in any event.
    • 4' Bale whips in the free-kick himself but Crouch just fails to get on the end of it.
    • 3' Gareth Bale chopped down by Emerson Boyce. He looked hurt for a moment but it seems he was just trying to get Boyce booked. He got his free but no more.

  3. What are you talking about brian , send that brazilian­ keeper back home ? he was not even playing you idiot ,­ try watching the match then make a judgement . Spurs­ did have plenty of attacking chances but as a spurs fan­ myself wigan deserved it cause their keeper was man of­ the match , like man city keeper on day 1 , like the­ hull keeper last year too , you can't blame spurs­ for a defeat if their keeper plays really well , thats­ life it happens some you win some you lose , don't­ forget everyone put wigan down saying "oh we are­ gonna win 9-1 again" and that probably spured on­ the wigan team to win at white hart lane and they­ deserved it !
