90+3' FULL TIME! CITY HAVE DONE IT! Win against QPR, and they will surely be champions. Newcastle were brave, but ultimately second-best. Manchester United must now beat Swansea to keep in touch, but City in control.
90' HART MAKES A FANTASTIC SAVE! Ba almost pulls one back with a vicious low shot - once again, the England goalkeeper was there and ready.
89' GOAL FOR CITY! ALL OVER! TOURE AGAIN! A breakwawy which ends with Clichy picking out Toure, who beats Krul at the near post. That will do!
87' AMEOBI CLOSE! He wants a handball as Richards blocks the shot!
85' Final change for City - Silva off, Richards on. Mancini suring things up defensively...
83' TOURE MISSES! ANOTHER HUGE CHANCE! Aguero plays him through with a killer pass, Toure left one-on-one with Krul, who stands his ground and Toure slips at the crucial moment. Even then it looks as if it can be salvaged, but Aguero lofts the follow-up over.
82' Final Newcastle roll of the dice - Ryan Taylor replaces Tiote.
82' TOURE CLOSE! Could have been his second, but he can only glance Silva's delivery beyond the far post.
80' Silva thumps the ball clear, and this time Ferguson is carded for trying to block it and bringing the Spaniard down far too late.
79' Yellow for Zabaleta, who scythes down Ferguson after the youngster beat him down the wing. Impressive play from the substitute, useful set piece for the Magpies.
79' CISSE CLOSE! Coloccini to Ameobi, a chipped cross to the striker at the near post, but Cisse cannot quite turn it goalwards. Newcastle on the front foot nonetheless.
75' HOW DID AGUERO MISS?! Incredible - a sensational pass from Silva over the top, Aguero beats the offside trap, but his one-on-one finish against Krul rolls an inch wide of the post. That could have wrapped things up - but Newcastle survive.
74' Twin change for Newcastle - Shola Ameobi for Ben Arfa, Shane Ferguson replaces Perch.
70' GOAL! YAYA TOURE SCORES A STUNNER! Wonderful finish from the Ivorian after some interplay with De Jong and Aguero, stroked in from just outside the penalty area!
70' City change - Tevez off, Dzeko on.
64' Gutierrez to Ba, onto Ben Arfa - can he make room for the shot? HE CAN - but his effort at the near post flashes wide. Moments before City had a muted penalty shout - it's all to play for.
62' Nasri off, De Jong on. Round of boos from the Toon faithful - it was De Jong's challenge which broke Ben Arfa's leg last season.
54' HALF-CHANCE FOR TEVEZ! It was a scrappy passage of play, with Newcastle unable to clear their lines and Toure eventually spooning the ball out for Tevez, but he snatched at the shot and ended up putting it high and wide.
46' The second half begins - City kick off! A crucial half of football awaits us!

45+1' HALF TIME: After a tantalising first half the final moments are played out quietly enough by Newcastle on the left. It's been fascinating but goal-less - and that favours neither side. All to play for after the break.
41' HUGE CHANCE FOR CITY! SANTON CLEARS IT OFF THE LINE! Barry had the shot and it looked for all the world as if City would go in front - but somehow - somehow - Newcastle scramble it away.
40' CHANCE! Ben Arfa with the cross from the left, having beaten Zabaleta, and Ba's header loops over the top.
38' Lunging tackle with Toure, and though he got a bit of the ball he also appeared to get a bit of Cabaye. Another booking.
36' Booking for Perch as he clips Tevez. Needless, and three Magpies in Howard Webb's book already.
34' BIG SAVE FROM HART! Newcastle get into space through Gutierrez and have the best chance of the match. Ba first gets clear, his shot is blocked superbly by Clichy. It bounces to Ben Arfa who fires on target and Hart stops it!
33' As City race to the other end, Tiote is penalised for bringing down Silva with a yellow card. Another decent set piece opportunity 25 yards out. No Kolarov for City, but Silva and Tevez are hardly poor alternatives...
30' Yellow for Barry as Cisse is held back on another Newcastle break. Cabaye a long way out with the free kick but fancies a shot.
29' CHANCE FOR NEWCASTLE! Ben Arfa magnifcent, surging through a near-impossible gap on the right flank and charging down the touchline. He picks out Ba, who's short on space but lashes a decent effort over the bar from 25 yards.
26' First yellow card of the game for Hatem Ben Arfa, who rather clumsily concedes a free kick on the left hand side of the penalty area.
20' WHOOPS! Krul rushes out to the left of his box to close Aguero and it's a misjudgment which leaves him exposed. The goalkeeper indebted to the work of Williamson, who closed out the danger.
17' CHANCE! Barry to Silva to Aguero in two smooth diagonal passes, then a shot from the Argentine which Krul smothers.
11' CHANCE! City have the first of the match, with Silva firing across goal from a tight angle and forcing Krul into a save.
1' We're underway!
13:15 A round-up of your predictions on Twitter - pirutman says 2-0 City, NicholasAng4 reckons 3-2 Newcastle. Tmukisa calls the game City's way, ElliotRHarris says 'anything less than a massacre will do me', Salman Redwan warns that 'City have already bottled once this season' and Shoaib Rahin simply says: "I think this game is so important & meaningful for both teams may the best win." Find me on Twitter here @Mark_Eurosport
12:45 A draw suits neither side. It will mean City no longer have the title race in their own hands, and Newcastle cannot guarantee themselves a top four spot. So what do you will think will happen today? 'No man's land' can't call it either way: "This match is tough for City, Newcastle came a long way from Championship and they are doing extremely well, too close to call." 70′ I say , I say , I say........just imagine if the wise men from the east had bought Swansea , Norwich or West Brom -we'd have been witnessing them being crowned champions
Master Fergie please BUY US SUCCESS like the others
Yes SHAUN I remember your shame very well, Keegan spent everything you had including the dogs bowl, almost bankrupted you and you still won nothing. It's just as well the much maligned Mr Ashley has some common sense or you now would be in administration. Asprilla? Balotelli? at least we had the sense to drop Balotelli. I would love it if we beat them, just love it.
Girosnooty, you clearly don't know the Sunderland "fans" who post on here then. I'm not obsessed by their results, but all fans do follow the results of their local rivals, so we can take the mike. It's called banter, something you clearly don't understand.
Well it looks like cirty will win the league. the fans must be relieved. can you imagine the shame of not winning this year having spent so much and being so far from withing the club's means and true stature. money city. no credibility
Pongo - it was a joke mate. See the LOL at the end!
But NUFC were still in with a chance of the Champions league It makes no sensw carlton
Apparently there is to be an investigation into this match. According to rumours it may have something to do with Newcastle purposely losing the match!! The apparent loss was because Man City were interested in Cisse but Newcastle agreed to lose the match and Man City promised not to buy Cisse in the summer transfer window. LOL
Thats what I mean Cards fan about being bubbled .You attack anyone who criticises you but are then patronising ESPECIALLY your neighbours Sunderland who seem a decent crew Why do you assume I am a Machem .I am not ..but you are obsessed .by their results as much as you are your own. Slightly embarassing is probably the best description .
Pongo2, typical mackem comment. Pathetic and lame with no fact at all. Poor bitter mackem.
I'm a geordie and even though we got beat by Man City and Im peaved by that, I still want City to win the title, they are really close now with just one more game, so come on City.
The usual patronising geordies praising after defeat..The rest bubbled you lot years ago ....I will say nice things about you if you say nice things about me ....... typical geordie speak
Nice to see 3 teams other than mu winning medals what a change. 1 game left old red nose wants favours off his old team mates, hughes, brown, o,shea he has enough help of the refs this year and the past 20 years. The whole country is glad hopefully to the back of utd,s spoilt brats. Well done Pool, City and Chelsea.
Well played to Man City yesterday. There were the better team. We gave it a good go. We have exceeded our expectations this year and are back in Europe. After Kompany's comments yesterday, I hope City clinch the title next weekend.
I am sure Manchester city become wins the premier league and also I wish best chance for Manchester city still I am sure Q PR will not win over man city b/c man city over come yesterdays game over Newcastle w/c is very difficult
why do people say the Manchester city have on hand on the title don,t forget there is 1 more game still to play and Manchester City have not won the title yet city still have to beat QPR l know that United will beat Sunderland next sunday
listen to some of you utd fans whining on with yourselves! money does buy you the silverware you vermin have been doin it for the past 20 yrs call city bitter christ id rather be a leper than a utd fan, well done toon you played well today good luck in the chase, nice to see teams like city who were in the lower divisions doin well in the premier league we laugh at you clowns calling us glory hunters,14 yrs ago we got relegated to the third div we fought tooth and nail to get back we suceeded without the money now we are going for the next level .like it or not city are going to be there for a while..god love my fellow brother and sister blues....BLUE MOON RISING....
I dont care about Man City or Man Utd, I personally think that Pardew & team ha ve done fantastically well this season & hopefully that will continue next season. COME ON THE TOON
Well done Toon, you've been the best value for money team in the Premiership by a mile. City should win the title with all the money spent on their squad but the fact they haven't won it by a mile shows how much they've underachieved. Take Company and Toure out of their squad and they're stuffed which is incredible really. Its been the poorest Man U team for ages and Chelsea are also stuffed for a bit whilst they have to clear out their pensioners.
