Bolton were relegated from the Premier League after a 2-2 draw against Stoke at the Britannia Stadium. More
90'+4 BOLTON ARE DOWN!
90'+2 So close for Ream! Great header from Petrov's corner stopped by a brilliant reaction save from Sorensen!
86' Jerome scores - 3-2 Stoke - but no, it's disallowed! The striker had edged offside, good call by the linesman.
81' Chris Eagles comes off, Chung-Yong Lee replaces him for Bolton.
78' STOKE EQUALISE! Walters slots home from the spot with Bogdan going the right way but too late to prevent the thumped right-foot shot from striking home.
77' PENALTY TO STOKE! Peter Crouch is through on goal but is tripped by Bogdan - suggestion of a dive, but Chris Foy points to the spot!
70' First change for Bolton as Ngog comes on for Klasnic.
64' Another change for Stoke, Upson coming off and Ryan Shotton coming on in his place.
60' GREAT CHANCE FOR STOKE! A magical pass from Whelan puts Etherington into the box with a chance, but he can't keep his left-foot effort down and it goes just over the bar. Bogdan was well beaten if he'd hit the target...
52' Ricardo Fuller seems to have picked up a knock and is coming off - Cameron Jerome will play the last 40 mintues for Stoke.
51' Bolton break, and it's a good chance for Petrov as he has a free shot at goal after running onto a pass from Eagles - it's just past the right upright and Petrov holds his face in disbelief...
46' We're back in action at the Britannia Stadium, and somehow it feels like the surprises aren't yet done for the day.
- The whistle goes to bring the half to an end, and we've seen three of the craziest goals of the season so far - but Bolton wouldn't care if they'd had an assist from a beach ball, as it stands they are winning, QPR are losing, and Owen Coyle's men are on course to stay in the top flight.
45' UNBELIEVABLE GOAL FOR BOLTON! IT'S KEVIN DAVIES! An amazing long-range strike almost from the right touchline finds the top corner at the near post!
44' Replays show that Davies's goal actually came as a defelection off his groin... Agony and ecstasy in one go!
40' BOLTON EQUALISE! AMAZING SCENES! A long clearance by Bogdan gets almost into the box, and Rob Huth's wild swipe to clear clatters off Mark Davies's shins and into the net!
39' Sam Ricketts goes in the book for a late sliding challenge on Whitehead. Good job he jumped over that or his feet might well have been removed completely.
33' Klasnic! So close to an equaliser! The Bolton striker unleashes a stunning drive from just outside the box which is like a Cruise missile heading for the bottom corner... but Sorensen gets a palm to it and turns it round the right post.
32' Kevin Davies hits the bar! The strikerg gets his head to a Petrov cross from the left and flips it over Sorensen, but it doesn't dip enough to go in - Bolton regain it and come again though...
27' Another good chance for Stoke, Dean Whitehead making a run up the right and crossing for Walters, who turns and shoots in the box but sees his effort drift wide of the left post.
14' GREAT CHACNE FOR STOKE! Sorensen spills a low cross by Petrov but Rob Huth is there to stop Eagles pouncing to stick it in the net!
13' GOAL FOR STOKE! It's a shocker as a ball in from Etherington's cross from the right finds Walters, who bundles into Bogdan sending himself, the Stoke goalkeeper and the ball into the net. Bogdan had his hands on it but spilled it, and somehow Chris Foy claims that isn't a foul. Totally outrageous decision!
12' Another great chance for Stoke as Etherington cuts into the box and hits a lovely left-foot rocket that is on target and stopped only by a theatrical dive by Bogdan.
11' Solid chance for Crouch as Stoke win a throw, taken quickly by Whitehead to the big man who tries to float it into the top right corner but misses by inches...
7' First proper chance of the match falls to Ricardo Fuller, who beats Boyata to cut into the box and forces Bogdan to save down to his right. Corner to Stoke!

83′ Stoke shouldn't have had a penalty and the first goal was a foul on Bogdan. Even if they performed poorly during the course of the season I think they can count themselves unlucky to have drawn this match!
Mike your right, and waiting for the video ref dosn't take anything away from the game. Don't understand why they won't introduce it. As for the double standards that goes on with managers at every game, they go ballistic one week regarding something, then don't mention it the following week if it happens to the apposing team.
Bill you have a good point but football is a lottery and we can swop hard luck stories for ever and a day. I watch both rugby codes on TV and the "video ref "allows decisions to be made that are fair to both teams. The football authorities have no intention of introducing this type of technology and so we continue to see week after week very bad refereeing decisions which reduces too many football matches to game of chance.
QPR scored a goal at Bolton that the ref and linesman missed (it was only about 3ft over the line) that goal would have relegated Bolton before the last game of the season, so to complain about the ref put them down is a bit rich, although the standard has been poor, need technology.
ref. please hang up you whistle....
BOLTON WILL BE BACK,WITH OR WITHOUT COYLE
I hate the team does not need the points and send the other team relegated!
Tony 80. You cannot say Kevin Davies cheats because he doesn't. He is just a good and hard old fashioned centre forward who gives away a few fouls. He is also the most fouled against player. What does that tell you?
How can anyone who's team contains Kevin Davies complain about cheating, he's won Bolton enough games with his roughhouse play
What a sad person you are Tony W if your team (is in the premiership) is other than bolton I hope you go down next season, if they are in a lower league I will read about you in the conference premier. HAHAHA
STOKE to go down next season..........................get your £££££ on them to go down!!!
What actions will the F.A. take on the REF for failing to disallow STOKE'S first goal..................that was AWFUL and BOLTON are gonna lose MILLIONS due to it!!
Can someone please explain how a referee can allow Stoke's first goal to stand. Walters did not connect with the ball. He barged into the keeper in such a way he had no chance to hold onto the ball. This decision has major financial implications. Will the authorities ask the referee to explain his reasoning and then make it public or will it be swept under the carpet as this happens so often. Disgruntled Bolton Fan fast loosing faith with the state of English Football.
Owen Coyle is an ars, which other manager in any premier league in Europe sits on a bench with his shorts?
Hahahaha long time coming, your rubbish bolton and you are were you belong hahahaha
Soon as coyle as been sacked I will buy a new season ticket, since he as been at Bolton I have only been to 3 matches before he came I did not miss a match for more then 20 years , sorry for all other supporters
Crouch's cheating dive has just cost Bolton millions unjustly. They would have stayed up and QPR would have gone down instead. I wonder if Bolton's lawyers can sue QPR or Crouch himself in a civil case for recovery of loss of revenue? It sure would send the right message to all the future cheating divers......
Glad Bolton have gone down after the way they treated Gary Megson,at least he kept you uo,unlike that idiot you've got in charge now.
@ FRANK (post 64) I doubdt it mate..... nobody will have him... unless of course he just disappears... which might not be a bad thing, as it goes.
thats way QPR give away 2 goal in 2 minute.they allready know no need to win.give city goal, lost and they got something special.win got nothing.this is modern football.full of drama.
