    • Referee Andre Marriner blows the whistle to get us underway here at the Liberty Stadium in what should be a fascinating match here tonight. Only Manchester United have come here and won this season in the Premier League. Early possession for Swansea, playing it around in their own half. Sinclair feeds Taylor but Ivanovic defends well.
    • 19.40 MATCH ODDS: Swansea: 7/2; Chelsea: 17/20; Draw: 23/10.
    • 19.35 Swansea will be hoping that Danny Graham continues his rich vein of form tonight. He has scored in four of his last six Premier League starts at the Liberty Stadium.
    • 19.30 Andre Villas-Boas: "The first half against QPR we were a little bit one-paced in terms of our possession and so Torres touched the ball but not in the right areas. In the second half he was much more involved in the game, coming short and laying off the ball and making good movements. He is producing for the others and I think he is confident. And for the kind of effort he is doing, eventually he will be repaid."
    • 19.25 The bad news for Swansea is that they have kept just one clean sheet in their last six Premier League matches. They have, however, conceded the joint-fewest goals in home games this season, (6) and have lost just one of their last 19 home games in league competition.
    • 19.20 The Liberty Stadium has been something of a fortress for Swansea this season. They have lost just one of their last 19 home games in league competition (W11 D7 L1).
    • 19.15 All eyes will be on the struggling Fernando Torres, who last scored against Swansea back in September. He hasn’t scored a Premier League goal since. He has now failed to score in 11 consecutive PL apps, beating his previous worst record of 10 apps (Jan-Apr 2011).
    • 19.10 TEAMS: Chelsea: Cech, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Luiz, Cole, Meireles, Romeu, Malouda, Sturridge, Torres, Mata. Subs: Tremmel, Routledge, Monk, Lita, Moore, Agustien, Richards.
    • 19.05 The big transfer news today for Chelsea is that they have completed the signing of Genk winger Kevin De Bruyne for a fee believed to be £6.7m. Swansea City are in talks to sign former England youth international Curtis Obeng from Wrexham. Keep abreast of the latest transfer news here.

  3. Some one please tell that Idiot AVB that ,maybe it's time to go back to 4-4-2 and give torres a support at front.aint he proved already that he can't do his job alone?

  5. Lots of comments on here about how good Brendan Rogers would be for Chelsea and I agree. You need to sort out your players. The Chelsea team that beat Swansea at Stamford Bridge were brilliant, what happened?
Swansea play very entertaining football and their home record is the best in the league.
Swansea dominated the first half and I think Sigurdsson is a player to watch in the coming months. We were better second half and although I am a Chelsea fan I think we were lucky to get a draw today from that deflection.
Swansea play very entertaining football and you see hunger and passion there which sadly we have lost.
Kudos to Swansea fans too for drinking with us after the match you lost at Stamford Bridge, we need more of that spirit again. Good match, you should be happy with your result

From steve, on Wed 1 Feb 11:03
  6. hahaha i struggle to understand how can a so called football fan claims that little over 7 months is time enough to build a team... just look how long SAF took to build his team before he won anything and what happened after they started to come in... owner wants instant results... so called fans want instant results... players don't commit as much they could.. and then who gets the blame? the manager as usual...

From Pedro, on Wed 1 Feb 7:46
  7. All i hear from alot of idiots is that "Give AVB time to build"..... well that idiot has had his time to build and yet he has shown no progress. People say its an old squad and etc, yes i admit its a old squad but avram grant, hiddink and ancelotti played with the same squad. I dont know why on earth did ancelotti get sacked. he got us 2 cups and that was the best chelsea season by far i think as we outplayed so many clubs and just look at the score line we had .... we beat teams like aston villa 7 goals or so..... we perfomed very well.
AVB is the one who should 100% get sacked, please stop backing him up.
    Love chelsea to death :)

From Dailyvasu, on Wed 1 Feb 7:10
  8. 203--It is not idiotic or dis-loyal to question a coach when a team seems to be going backwards.
You mention Carlo--Why wasn't he given the chance to rebuild the team?
Look, I really hope he proves me wrong, but I reserve the right to criticise a coach who I consider guilty of far to many mistakes. I also question the board, who I feel may have messed up again.
At this rate, we will struggle for 4th, and even if re-building, we seem to be going to far backwards.
That's my opinion, and its not idiotic.
Once again though, I would love to be proved wrong!!

From Lauro, on Wed 1 Feb 5:54
  17. For all those idiots constantly blaming AVB, many of the problems were plain to see last season under Ancellotti, losing 9 league games for starters. Even the double winning season had it's hiccups.

75% of the squad are either too old, too slow or just not good enough!

Give AVB a chance to mould HIS team, and things could well be different. Many of you have short memories or are not genuine fans. Those of us who were around long before rich uncle Roman arrived know that 4th place was a good season!....

From Moose, on Wed 1 Feb 5:52
  18. Chelsea did not win a point-they lost 2 points, at this rate Liverpool & Arsenal will probably finish above Chelsea, no Champions League next year who would want to come as manager then?
