90+4' And that's it! Everton win two out of two to start the season in atypical fashion! Three first-half goals in a 3-1 win, their first victory at Villa Park in seven years. The last time they pulled it off, they finished in the top four. Thanks for joining us! 90' Though as I say that, here come Villa and a lovely reverse ball inside meets the run of Weimann who hits the post!
88' Mirallas heads home four... or does he? No, offside flag up! Peach of a cross in from Coleman and another good finish but for the infringement.
87' Final change for Everton, and for the match, sees Jelavic come off and John Heitinga get a few minutes' run-out.
74' Villa pull one back! And it's a fantastic 30-yard drive from El Ahmadi! Howard should have kept it out but let it run through his fingers.
72' Almost an immediate chance for Mirallas there, as Coleman's excellent diagonal from the rigth is heading his way until Vlaar puts the ball out for another corner with a crucial interception!
71' And now it's time for Kevin Mirallas to make his Everton bow. Sporting the number 11 shirt, he comes on in place of Gibson.
70' Andreas Wiemann is introduced to the game in Villa's final sub. Bannan the player sacrificed.
65' Naismith is replaced by Seamus Coleman in the away team's first change.
64' Corner whipped in to Distin! Deflected onto the bar by Bent!
63' Set play is again worked short and cut back by Baines to Pienaar, whose wicked half-volley is tipped over by Given!
60' Herd makes way for Eric Lichaj so that Lambert can get another defender out there.
59' Gibson takes the resulting free-kick from just outside the 'D' and it's only narrowly off-target.
57' Red card for Clark! The defender trips Jelavic after a wonderful through pass from Gibson puts the striker clean through.
48' Jelavic is denied a chance of a second by a superb Baker slide in at the expense of a corner.
47' Brett Holman is on for 45 minutes, with Delfouneso making way.
46' The second half kicks off at Villa Park. The home side have a 0-3 deficit to address if they're to avoid going two defeats for two. And they've made a half-time change...
45+1' One minute added on and seen out, with boos greeting the half-time whistle. After 45 minutes, Everton lead 3-0 at Aston Villa! Can the beleaguered hosts stage a fight-back or are they in serious bother this season despite the change of manager?
44' Neat cut-back from the left by Baines is powered low and cross Given by the Croatian. Professional first half from Everton and they are seemingly out of sight already.
43' JELAVIC! THREE!
31' Extraordinary cross from the right by Jagielka of all people on the breakaway, and the Belgian is poorly picked up as he powers in his second league headed goal of the week past Given, who should have done better.
30' GOAL! Fellaini! It's 0-2!
16' Better delivery, and a chance for Jelavic! Heads just over the bar after timing his run across goal to meet the ball well.
4' Naismith tees up the South African 25 yards out in Everton's first advance of the match and the returning star unleashes a wonderful drive beyond the helpless Given.
3' PIENAAR! GOAL! What a screamer! 0-1!
1' We are underway - and Duff has put Fulham ahead elsewhere at Old Trafford already!

Lambert isn't the problem, the players just don't want to try. If we ever sack Lambert it's just going to get worse...
Oh dear , relegation fight looming. Albion till i die, i hate the villahahaha!!!
Well done to everton after their excellent performance against aston villa. You will finish higher than liverpool for a long time. Liverpool are going backwards and brendan rodgers took the job too soon. A loyal swansea city supporter.

Well done Everton,a pleasure to see them winning yet again.....ya....hoo!!.
And your North London aristocrats have done f*ck-all for seven years, Dat Gunner, (even lost a cup final to the shlttest of all Midlands teams), so why not f*ck off and mind your own business?

WHERE ARE MY COMMENTS
So this bright young manager plays young forward Delfouneso in midfield whilst he leaves out Ireland,Delph recognised midfielders what is going on,he needs to get rid of the driftwood like N'zogbia, drop the ones past their sell by date like Given and get some good quality players in.This started under Houllier players of a poor quality coming to Villa Park and not performing
half of the midlands teams have been really #$%$ for the past 5 years only stoke and west brom are doing anything
No comments yet!
Another Job done EFC great start great team Love that TEAM EFC
Can anyone see Bent wanting to remain at Villa, after this shocker of a start? I can't. Seems Lerner has been taking advice from Ellis. Another striker? You'll be lucky. They'll be moving the dug-out again soon. That worked really well didn't it?
Moyes you're doing a fantastic job in Everton keep it up.
