A Frank Lampard brace saw Chelsea end Everton's unbeaten home record with a 2-1 Premier League win at Goodison Park. More
90+4' The full-time whistle goes at Goodison Park, and Chelsea have ended Everton's unbeaten home record with a 2-1 victory courtesy of a Lampard brace! Pienaar's goal in the second minute proves irrelevant, and it's a fine win for Benitez's side away from home. Thanks for joining us.
90+3' Jelavic is presented with a good chance in the box as Baines whips over a testing cross from the left, and he should have made a better connection with that!
89' Distin makes a quite brilliant last-gasp challenge to prevent Torres from getting a shot away with just the defender and Howard to beat from inside the Everton box!
87' Cole is booked for a late challenge, and it's desperate defending now from Chelsea in the final stages.
86' Oscar comes on to replace Mata now for Chelsea, and Benitez is looking extremely agitated.
83' Torres is ruled offside once more as he drifts in behind Heitinga, but the Everton defenders hold the line.
81' Everton's final change sees Pienaar replaced by Bryan Oviedo.
79' Ross Barkley comes on for Everton now as Moyes makes his second change.
76' Velios comes on for Naismith, and Moyes moves swiftly to make a change himself.
74' Benitez quickly moves to withdraw Hazard, and Victor Moses is the man to come on.
72' GOAL! Lampard scores his second as he drives an emphatic finish into the Everton net from close range after Mata sees his initial effort saved by Howard, and Chelsea are now in front! Everton failed to clear inside their box, and they are ruthlessly punished.
70' Luiz goes into the book with a crude challenge on Pienaar in the Chelsea half.
68' Jelavic is denied by the crossbar as he stoops to head beyond Cech from Baines's cross out on the left, and Everton come agonisingly close once more!
66' Torres stings the palms of Howard in the Everton goal with a fierce strike from the edge of the box, and it's a fine stop from the American keeper!
57' Jelavic is absolutely furious with the linesman as he strays offside looking to latch on to a through ball from Osman, but replays show that the official was correct.
54' A backheel from Hazard finds Torres at the back post after very fine build-up play, but the forward is offside as he scuffs a poor shot straight at Howard!
53' Cahill is booked for a cynical block on Baines, and Everton have started the second half as brightly as they did the first, but without a goal to show for their efforts.
46' Cech’s 400th appearance for Chelsea ends prematurely as Ross Turnbull is brought on as an enforced change at half-time, and we're about to get back under way.
- Phew, well what did you make of that chaotic first half? What do you think the full-time scoreline will be? It's a tough one to call with Chelsea clawing their way back into the contest after a sluggish start. You can get in touch with your thoughts via Twitter... @Dan_Eurosport
45+1' The half-time whistle goes at Goodison Park, and it's 1-1 between Everton and Chelsea after Lampard levelled for Benitez's side with a fine header to cancel out Pienaar's clinical finish in just the second minute. It's all to play for in the second half.
42' GOAL! Lampard levels for Chelsea with a powerful header from just outside the Everton six-yard box, and it's a clinical finish from the midfielder from Ramires's dinked cross out on the right flank. The visitors are back level!
37' The offside flag stops Torres in his tracks as he races in behind the Everton back four, and he mistimes his run completely.
35' Chelsea are very nearly caught on the break as Jelavic latches on to a long ball from Baines and drives a low shot towards the far corner of the net, only for Cech to tip the ball agonisingly wide!
32' Mata is beginning to see more of the ball, and he plays a neat one-two with Torres before Hazard drives a fine ball across the six-yard box which no one can turn in!
27' Ramires bundles his way into the Everton box with a determined run, before the ball breaks loose for Mata, who sees his stabbed shot saved by the legs of Tim Howard!
26' What a save from Cech! Osman unleashes a rasping strike from the edge of the Chelsea box, and Cech has to be very alert to pull off a reflex save down low to his right!
8' It's Nikica Jelavic who eventually steps up to take the set piece, and he is denied by the near post after he clears the wall with an exquisite strike, and Petr Cech was left flat-footed!
2' What a start for Everton as Steven Pienaar pounces to drive home the rebound after Anichebe heads against the near post! Goodison Park is rocking, and Chelsea fall behind in the second minute of the match!
1' The first half is under way at Goodison Park, and Chelsea are in their change strip of all white.

85′ 201 McYinks. How true! I wonder if Mr A's ruthless 'let them go' policy is some form of ego trip? It's obvious that it's HE who makes these decisions, maybe on advice from his best mate Eugene Tennebaum, the Russian lady, is it Marisa Tariskovska, (or some such), & the 'coach' Emolonio, (or some such!). I say ego trip, 'cos Mr A IS the No1 man, & when players like, yes the Drog, Lamps & Ashley C are seen to be getting TOO popular, MAYBE, just MAYBE Mr A gets resentful, as attention is not then focussed on him. Another reason why Torres KEEPS playing, despite firing blanks---he was after all Mr A's 'alter ego', Mr A's personal buy---many say he bought Torres to 'trump' Sheikh Mansour's purchase of Aguero (the Sth American cost 'only' £34 million, the Spaniard some £16 million more!). This attitude is like a leader of a 3rd world country, where a 'Dictator' President sees a local governor of some province or other getting TOO popular, so what does the President do? Yes, get rid of him! Cue the departure of the 'Special One'; he was too successful, too popular, too charismatic--- at The Bridge, there's enough room for only ONE ego! Having said all this, I as a Chelsea fan will be forever grateful for EVERYTHING Mr A has done for the club---without him we'd be a mid table team. In fact, since his taking over, Chelsea have won MORE trophies than ANY other team in England (not counting Community Shields etc), & for that he, warts & all, will forever be revered. But please Mr A, KEEP Lamps, Ashley & JT---they all LOVE Chelsea, & are good enought still wear the shirt, though naturally over time, their roles will be cameo ones---just look at Scholes & Giggs, they are SUCH wonderful ambassadors for Man U!
do not say good luck in america because he is not leaving. me and lampard meet every weekend and he said he is not leaving and he might just sign a short term deal.
Rather than investing your money on buying new players, it is better to keep LAMPARD (the legend)and his fellow like COLE. Why great clubs want to buy these legends? This is b/ce they are great players. Did you see the difference since DROGBA left the club? You lost all trophies this year such as Community Shield, Super Cup & Club World Cup. For sure if DROGBA (the legend) exist in the club at least you got one trophy. Please can you make RAMIRES a striker rather than Torres? Ramires is the best player I like very much. Last year in the Champions league he assisted one goal for DROGBA and scored one difference making goal on BARCA. Unless you will get right striker don't think to win any Trophy. The main problem of Chelsea is the absence of striker.
Everton unbeaten run at home was finished at the expense of continuation of Chelsea winning run.
Frank Lampard is a Legend! A footballer extraordinaire, a motivator! Chelsea FC should not break the hearts of those of us who're Chelsea fans to the extreme (the fanatics) and other lovers of quality football. Frank's contract should immediately be extended without any hesitation. The wealth of experience he's acquired over time is invaluable and I can say it unequivocally that he's almost indispensable! We all love him with a passion! He should be retained please! Same thing goes to John Terry and Ashley Cole. They too are wonderful players! I'm yet to come to terms that Dieder Drogba could leave Stamford Bridge just like that. Abramovich, please let's appreciate, value and spur our legends to further bring out the best in them.
lampard wont b at chelsea after new year
Super frankie lampard!!!! chelsea no.8, arbramovich dont let frank go!!!! champs of europe we know what we are!!!:)
219 didnt watch the game...at 1-0 efc didnt sit back..they should have been 3-1 at ht dope
get over this toffees and move on , supprised past it scored without cheating
Super Frankie Lampard!!Abra pls don't sell Lamps!Happy New year to all Chelsea Fans!!
Captain's shining display, Everton's cowardly withdrawal, continuation of Chelsea's winning run and 3th loss after weeks. London Blues have changed, whereas Mercyside Blues are the same, too conservative after scoring a goal.
Right, I have got rid of that divvy b rat, now for victor and donney. all send abuse notices on these idiots and we can all get on chatting footy stuff.
Great result if somewhat undeserved, Lampard should be given as long a contract as he wants for his service to the club. Not a fan of Benitez but he has made Chelsea very hard to beat, hope they can beat the prawn sandwich brigade to the title.
Be good to get another 3 points for a Christmas clean sweep! C'mon Chelsea
Rafa, we of the now downtrodden Red fraternity salute you. We wait with great patience for your second coming
#$%$.
Torres is just a pure tragedy of a striker. god, he was clear to take a shot with just one defender behind him and still didn't manage. seriously luiz would make a better striker
