    • - Don't forget you can watch highlights of this match, along with every Premier League game, from 00:01 on Monday morning (UK only).
    • 90+4' FULL TIME. Everton 1-1 Norwich. The away side make it six games without defeat thanks to a late, late equaliser from Bassong. Everton lead through an early goal from Naismith.
    • 90+3' Moyes was furious with the award as he did not feel Baines fouled Morison. It did look a bit soft.
    • 90+2' Everton take off Naismith and bring on Apostolos Vellios.
    • 90+1' That is Bassong's first goal for two years and Norwich do deserve a point. They have been by far the better side in the second half.
    • 90' GOAL! Everton 1-1 Norwich! Bassong equalises at the death! Garrido pumps in a deep free kick from the right and Bassong gets his head to the ball. Howard connects with his hand but can't stop the ball going in off the underside of the bar.
    • 89' Simeon Jackson comes on for Snodgrass as Norwich go for the win.
    • 89' At the second attempt, Baines curls the ball just over the wall.
    • 88' Baines takes the free kick but Tettey charges out of the wall and blocks. It's a booking for encroachment.
    • 87' Garrido takes a yellow card for a tactical foul 25 yards from goal. This is a good chance for Everton.
    • 85' Chance for Norwich! Pilkington gets his head to a cross from the right and powers the ball at goal. However, it is too close to Howard, who just manages to palm the ball away.
    • 84' What a chance! Oviedo plays in Naismith down the right and he has Jelavic in acres of spaces square. He goes for the early pass but shanks the ball out of play. He just needed to roll it across.
    • 82' Ruddy is forced off against his former side so Mark Bunn comes on. Ruddy was struggling with an apparent groin injury.
    • 81' A lovely move from Everton and Jelavic and Naismith combine before Norwich just get the ball clear.
    • 79' Norwich keeper Ruddy isn't able to take goal kicks at present and he just pulled up sharply when making a clearances. He may well have to go off.
    • 77' Stat from Opta: "Norwich (11) have taken four more points than Everton (7) over their last six Premier League games."
    • 76' This is better from Everton and Osman drags a dangerous low cross across the face of goal.
    • 75' The first change of the game as Steve Morison comes on for Hoolahan, who just hasn't been involved at all.
    • 75' Glorious stuff from Baines as he races past two men to get a firm shot away. What a player he is. Ruddy saves though and Naismith can't convert the rebound.
    • 74' A lovely touch from Oviedo to lose his man but Pienaar's attempted reverse pass is a bit indulgent as his flick is cut out.
    • 73' Oviedo has moved to the right wing and he cuts onto his left before unleashing a firm low effort that Ruddy saves down at his feet.
    • 72' Everton have looked a bit lost in the second half and they need to get Pienaar on the ball more.
    • 71' Much better in this second half from Norwich but still they are searching for an equaliser.
    • 70' Huge chance for Norwich! It's a wonderful move that culminates when Holt shifts the ball to Snodgrass. His low shot from a tight angle eludes Howard but is cleared off the line but Heitinga, who had lost the ball to Hoolahan in the first place.
    • 68' Bradley Johnson is the first name in the book as he clatters into Oviedo as the Everton man plays the ball away. Clumsy.
    • 66' Chance for Norwich! A ball into the box causes havoc in the home defence. Holt and Snodgrass both fail to tuck the ball away though and Hitzlsperger carries it away before being clattered by Snodgrass as he clears.
    • 65' Whittaker's header from a corner loops to Jelavic and the striker controls on his chest before lashing a volley over the bar. He wants a corner for a touch off Bassong but the referee is unimpressed.
    • 64' The home side win a corner, and then another as they keep up the pressure on Norwich.
    • 63' Pienaar does well to win a free kick from Whittaker after coming in front of the defender and getting his body in the way of the ball. A clever piece of play and a free kick to Everton.
    • 62' Pilkington crosses from the right for Holt but as Heitinga heads away the striker is penalised for a high boot. That seems harsh. He had every right to go for the ball.
    • 61' Distin gets his head to a lofted pass from Osman and forces Ruddy into a save. That is better from Everton, but still they are lacking the fluency of the first half.
    • 60' Leighton Baines does have a superb set of sideburns on display today. He, like many of his team-mates, is also partaking in Movember.
    • 59' Chance for Norwich! Holt beats the offside trap to collect a pass over the top from Whittaker but Howard does just enough to put him off and get a touch to the ball. The striker should have done better.
    • 58' Holt spots the ball coming through the centre and gets his barrel of a chest to it. But the ball cannons off him and rolls through to Howard in the Everton goal.
    • 57' Great chance for Norwich! The away side win a free kick 25 yards from goal and Pilkington produces a fine curling effort that Howard has to parry away at the near post.
    • 55' Baines and Pienaar combine once again and the latter plays in Osman central. Instead of shooting from 20 yards though he tries to play in Naismith to the right and the ball doesn't quite come off.
    • 54' Everton have closed the game down a bit since that bright start from Norwich and are trying to wrest control back once again.
    • 52' Stat from Opta: "Grant Holt scored in both league games against the Toffees last season."
    • 51' Oviedo tries to play in Pienaar central with a quick pass. It's the right idea but the pass has a bit too much on it.
    • 50' Pilkington delivers the free kick and when the ball is cleared to Tettey he fires a shot over the bar. Still, this is much better from Norwich.
    • 49' Heitinga tussles with Holt 20 yards from goal and is penalised for holding the striker. That's a generous award: they were both at it.
    • 48' Snodgrass slides in on Baines and catches the defender late as he pumps the ball forward.
    • 47' Early pressure from Norwich and it is a good start from the visitors. Snodgrass causes problems on the right as Distin clears the ball hastily away for a throw. Osman then makes a hurried clearance from a cross.
    • 46' KICK OFF! No changes from either side.
    • 45+2' HALF TIME. Naismith's goal separates the sides and Everton are good value for their 1-0 lead. The home side dominating possession and having the better chances so far.
    • 45+1' Norwich have a free kick on the right but the delivery from Snodgrass is very poor. Everton should go into the break with their 1-0 lead intact.
    • 45' We will have a minimum of three added minutes in this first half.
    • 44' Stat from Opta: "Nine of Norwich’s 12 games this season have gone under 2.5 goals but the other three matches have produced 17 goals."
    • 43' Norwich are finally beginning to offer an attacking threat but you can tell from some of Everton's flicks and tricks that they are in control of this game. Everton can be great fun to watch when they are in the mood.
    • 42' Lovely interplay between Osman and Pienaar as the latter plays in the former with a clever backheel flick. Osman takes a touch to enter the box but scuffs his shot, presenting Ruddy with an easy save.
    • 41' Chance for Norwich! Snodgrass delivers a corner from the right and Bassong rises above Jagielka to meet the ball. He has a free header but he times it poorly and the ball strikes his shoulder and goes wide. Disappointing.
    • 40' Hoolahan takes possession of the ball on the left and sees two crosses repelled by the Everton defence. Then Pienaar is required to intervene as the ball comes in from the right this time. A bit of pressure on the home defence now.
    • 39' Impressive stuff from Everton, who are controlling the flow of the game here at Goodison. Norwich aren't getting much of a look in with Hoolahan marginalised. If Everton can continue to keep him quiet they should be okay.
    • 37' Jelavic gets free at the near post from a corner but is too far advanced and can't direct his header back on target. It goes wide.
    • 36' Stat from Infostrada: "Steven Naismith has now scored three goals in his last three PL starts."
    • 34' Naismith gets a bit excited when Jelavic touches a long pass into his path and the Scotland forward hits the ball first time from 20 yards. It screws well wide of the goal.
    • 33' Naismith gets a bit excited when Jelavic touches a long pass into his path and the Scotland forward hits the ball first time from 20 yards. It screws well wide of the goal.
    • 32' Oviedo crosses from the left for Jagielka but the ball is cleared out to Osman, who steadies himself and rifles a shot straight at Ruddy. A metre either side and the Norwich keeper would have been in trouble.
    • 30' Norwich look to probe down the right but Tettey's ball for Whittaker into the right channel has too much on it and bounces out of play. Holt's shot aside, Norwich have created very little so far.
    • 28' Baines embarks on another brilliant run, only to be halted by a well-timed challenge from Bassong. Jelavic then throws himself into a challenge on the Norwich defender. It looked a bit reckless but it's just a free kick.
    • 27' Oviedo has looked very bright today - a fine first start in the league. Everton are the better side on the ball, more inventive and more dangerous at present.
    • 26' Oviedo finds Naismith in the centre of the park with a brilliant pass. Everton work the ball to Pienaar, who scoops a pass over the top of the defence for Jelavic to thump a shot wide. However, the Croatian was offside when taking the shot.
    • 25' Big chance for Holt! The striker gets away from Heitinga and then Distin all too easily but as the ball bounces up into his path on the edge of the box the striker lashes a poor volley off target. He should have tested Howard from there.
    • 24' Hoolahan is ruled offside when trying to peel off the back and meet a deep free kick from Tettey but replays show it was a borderline decision, at best.
    • 22' Everton, as so often, appear to be focusing their attacks down the left wing. Whittaker has had a torrid time of things so far at right-back for Norwich.
    • 21' Distin gets himself in a muddle and Holt pounces when charging into him in an attempt to win the ball. It squirts away from the French defender but the pace on the ball carries it through to Tim Howard.
    • 20' A replay of the Tettey-Naismith incident shows the Norwich midfielder just got to the ball ahead of the Scotland international. A fine tackle.
    • 19' A delicious cross from Baines, who is consistently one of the finest players outside of the traditional powers. Jelavic tries to get on the end of it but Bennett just muscles him off.
    • 18' Everton fans want a penalty when Naismith is apparently brought down by Tettey just inside the box. We will need a replay of that but it certainly looked close.
    • 16' Huge chance for Everton! Baines makes his way forward and after a clever one-two with Pienaar he skips over the challenge of Whittaker and fires in a low shot that forces Ruddy into an excellent save. The ball bounces out to Osman but he can't get his volley under control.
    • 15' Referee Mike Jones calls across Holt and asks him to calm down Snodgrass, who was getting a bit frustrated.
    • 14' Norwich win a corner but now Oviedo gets involved at the other end as he heads away. Norwich regain possession, and Hoolahan drives a shot well wide from outside the box.
    • 13' That makes for a pretty impressive first start for Oviedo, who was signed from FC Copenhagen in the summer and has gone under the radar somewhat so far. The absence of Fellaini and Mirallas led to his inclusion today.
    • 12' GOAL! Everton 1-0 Norwich! A lovely team goal. Hitzlsperger picks out a run from Oviedo with a gorgeous dinked pass and the Costa Rican takes the ball past Whittaker with his first touch. He cuts the ball back to Naismith, who is free eight yards out and side-foots home.
    • 10' Phil Jagielka, playing at right-back today, aims a cross into the box and Croatia international Jelavic leaps above his marker to glance a header wide. If Norwich allow him too many of those they will be punished.
    • 9' Everton look the livelier side here and it is great news that Pienaar is carrying on. Osman is full of intent too in midfield.
    • 8' Alexander Tettey takes the ball forward and after Wes Hoolahan plays in Robert Snodgrass the winger is brought to ground 35 yards from goal. However, the free kick is headed away.
    • 7' Stat from Opta: "Everton are unbeaten in their last eight games against Norwich City in all competitions (W5 D3)."
    • 6' Pienaar clambers to his feet and is fine to continue. A relief for Everton, who are short of options in midfield.
    • 5' Speaking of Pienaar, he collides with Sebastien Bassong and crumples to the floor in pain. It was completely accidental but the two players' knees clashed. The South African needs some treatment.
    • 4' Everton have Oviedo playing down the left, with Pienaar the man to tuck in behind Jelavic and Naismith out on the right as usual. It makes sense, Pienaar is handy in a central role.
    • 3' Now Norwich look to probe and Hoolahan pokes a pass through to Holt, who uses his body to hold off the defender. However, the striker is ruled offside.
    • 2' Great chance for Everton! Norwich lose possession in midfield after after Naismith collects a loose ball in the box Leon Osman touches the ball through his legs before bending a shot just wide. Very bright start for the home side.
    • 1' KICK OFF! Everton shooting right to left in their blue home shirt. Norwich in canary yellow.
    • 14:55 Things are looking gloomy for Sunderland, who have just lost 4-2 at home to West Brom in the opening game of the Premier League weekend. The Baggies, remarkably, are third. Read our match report
    • 14:50 Two variants of 4-2-3-1 today then, but Norwich look to have the superior No. 10 in Hoolahan. Naismith is yet to fully convince and he could be the weak link for Everton today. My prediction? A 1-1 draw. Agree? Disagree? Why not let me know on Twitter. Follow Tom Adams on Twitter!
    • 14:45 Time for some stats from Opta: "Everton are unbeaten in their last eight games against Norwich City in all competitions (W5 D3). Grant Holt scored in both league games against the Toffees last season. Norwich have won just one of their last 12 Premier League away games, losing seven in that run. Norwich (11) have taken four more points than Everton (7) over their last six Premier League games."
    • 14:40 Everton had a fast start to the season, winning their first three games, but they have only won one in six in the league, seeing them lose a bit of momentum. The absence of Fellaini will also be keenly felt as he has scored six goals this season. Norwich are solid, well-drilled and will represent a real challenge today.
    • 14:35 Norwich - who have won four of their last six games in all competitions, including home ties with Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United - are without Michael Turner due to a shoulder injury so Ryan Bennett comes into defence. Otherwise they are unchanged from the side that defeated United 1-0.
    • 14:30 Everton are without their Belgian contingent as Marouane Fellaini is suspended and Kevin Mirallas has not recovered from a hamstring problem. They make two changes as Sylvain Distin comes in for Seamus Coleman in defence and Fellaini is replaced by Bryan Oviedo, making his first league start for the club. He plays wide, so Steven Naismith will tuck in behind Nikica Jelavic.
    • 14:25 TEAMS: Howard, Jagielka, Heitinga, Distin, Baines, Osman, Hitzlsperger, Oviedo, Naismith, Pienaar, Jelavic. Subs: Mucha, Hibbert, Barkley, Kennedy, Duffy, Gueye, Vellios. /// Norwich City: Ruddy, Whittaker, Bassong, R Bennett, Garrido, Johnson, Tettey, Snodgrass, Hoolahan, Pilkington, Holt. Subs: Bunn, E Bennett, Barnett, Tierney, Howson, Jackson, Morison.
    • 14:20 Everton sit fifth in the table and a victory at home today will move them to within one point of Chelsea, now managed by former Merseyside rival Rafa Benitez of course. Norwich, on a run of good form, are 13th. A win would take them level with Tottenham in eighth.
    • 14:15 Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Premier League match between Everton and Norwich City at Goodison Park.
  • Summary

    • 90' GOAL! Everton 1-1 Norwich! Bassong equalises at the death! Garrido pumps in a deep free kick from the right and Bassong gets his head to the ball. Howard connects with his hand but can't stop the ball going in off the underside of the bar.
