    • - That's it! The whistle goes, and Everton have been denied a win after what must be one of the most frustrating matches of the season so far for David Moyes's men.
    • 90'+4 Final chance of the match falls to Swansea as Danny Graham chops a cross into the box - but the ball is deflected away.
    • 90'+3 Everton have had over 60% of the ball in the second half, but still haven't had the breakthrough.
    • 90'+2 Nice free kick in by Baines looks to find Jelavic at the far post, but once again Vorm charges across the box to take the ball confidently.
    • 90'+1 Tiendalli now gets booked, again for time wasting. Everton have a free kick, and four extra minutes to play...
    • 90' Everton come up again, Jelavic has a lash from the edge of the box that flies well over.
    • 89' Vorm immediately gets himself booked for timewasting after that magnificent save. He looks spectacularly unbothered.
    • 88' AMAZING SAVE BY VORM! Fellaini looks finally to have broken the deadlock as he gets his head to Pienaar's cross, but Vorm's staggering reaction dive is enough for him to block the ball around the right post. Wonderful stuff.
    • 87' Swansea with eight men behind the ball now...
    • 86' The free kick is floated in, but is straight at Howard at the far post. Half-hearted stuff.
    • 85' Things getting a little stressful for Everton now, with Fellaini in his anxiety giving away a free kick 40 yards out, and dead in front.
    • 83' Anichebe being brought off, with Vellios coming on as his replacement for Everton.
    • 82' Poorly hit by Williams with the ball not getting past the first blue shirt., and in the end Routledge does well to cover back and stop Coleman making something on the counter.
    • 81' Swansea have a nice chance here, a free kick they can float into the box from 40 yards or so.
    • 80' Danny Graham now coming on for Michu.
    • 79' Baines goes in the book, but this is getting bad tempered now.
    • 78' Big tackle by Leighton Baines goes in on Rangel. Well, not really a tackle, more a body check from behind. Awful.
    • 77' Vicente Del Bosque has seen enough - or not enough, if you like - as he walks out of the stadium with 13 minutes left. Nothing like beating the traffic jams, eh?
    • 76' Still the same pattern: Everton pressing forward, Swansea repelling them. It's going to take either a blunder, or a piece of individual magic to decide this match.
    • 75' Everton get the ball back into the final third once more, and Jelavic wins a corner as Tidenalli tackles. It's a decent chance from the corner for Jagielka, whose header flies just over the bar.
    • 74' Routledge is on his seventh Premier League club, incidentally.
    • 74' Another Swansea sub: Wayne Routledge coming on for Hernandez. Still no changes by Everton.
    • 73' De Guzman is playing on, but still hobbling a bit.
    • 72' De Guzman has gone down hurt after getting clipped by Pienaar - he stamped on the back of his shin, brutal, and the South African lucky to get away with that one.
    • 71' Fellaini - who had moved forward at the start of the second half - has moved deeper now that Naismith is on. Naismith is out on the right, and the dynamo that is Seamus Coleman is pushing forward from the looks of things.
    • 70' It's decent entertainment despite the lack of goals; here comes Naismith, and it's Phil Neville who comes on to replace him. Good call, Neville has been poor.
    • 69' Everton fasion yet another chance, Osman cutting in from the left, but first Agustien and then Chico Flores step in to make superb clearing tackles.
    • 68' Everton's bench preparing to bring on Naismith - not yet sure who will come off.
    • 67' Lovely bit of dribbling by Coleman on the right, undone completely as his long ball for Neville is hit about 15 yards too far and goes straight off.
    • 66' Everton have lost their momentum slightly after that blistering start to the second half, the men in Red slowly beginning to keep the ball better and slow down the tempo of the match.
    • 65' Another Swansea counter ends with De Guzman crossing the ball straight through the six-yard box - nice looking ball, but the nearest attacker was Rangel handing back around the penalty spot.
    • 64' Things hotting up, and though Swansea try another break upfield they don't have enough men forward to make anything work.
    • 63' Terrific chance for Fellaini, who controls the ball brilliantly on the edge of the six-yard box, but can't turn and shoot thanks to the attention of Williams right behind him. Agustien then charges in to thump the ball clear.
    • 63' Now Michu goes in the book too, again for getting involved in a bit of argy-bargy following Jelavic's penalty claim.
    • 62' Big penalty shout from the home fans as Jelavic goes down in the box, claiming that Williams tugged him - Dowd having none of it, and the ball came in well over both their heads in any case.
    • 61' No surprise the ref knows Spanish of course: Dowd very much looks like a man who goes on holiday to Spain.
    • 60' Hernandez gets booked for dissent by Phil Dowd, whose Spanish is obviously good enough to decipher whatever epithet just got thrown at him.
    • 59' Just before that substitution, Jelavic tried a speculative overhead kick - didn't go well, he missed the ball completely.
    • 58' First change of the match: Swansea's Jonathan de Guzman comes on for Nathan Dyer.
    • 57' Everton push forward yet again, with Jelavic, Baines and Fellaini all trying to get in the box and get a shot in, but the tide of red shirts keep pushing them back.
    • 56' Long cross in by Pienaar is meant for Jelavic at the far post, but Vorm is there once again to take it confidently. That guy has some sticky gloves - he's not dropped a ball all day.
    • 55' Baines and Pienaar continuing to wreak havoc up the left flank, picking up where they left off in the first half.
    • 54' The Swans come into the Toffees half at last and Hernandez manages to have a dig from just outside the box, but it's straight at Howard and taken safely.
    • 53' Swansea still battling away without much of the ball - you feel that so long as its played at this pace the home side will have an edge.
    • 52' Half an opening for Everton as Fellaini - who has been quiet so far - gets into the box to latch onto a long ball in, but he was offside.
    • 51' No changes at half-time, incidentally, but the look on Laudrup's face suggests one might be coming soon.
    • 50' Agustien takes the ball up the left as the Swans charge up field, but his cross is cut out well by Jagielka.
    • 49' Everton pushing up at every opportunity - Swansea really on the back foot, but now they have a chance to counter.
    • 48' Everton win a quartet of corners, but Vorm and his defence step in each time to clear or deflect shots wide until Distin's header flies well over the bar.
    • 47' Coleman angry that Neville took the ball off him for that chance - he was just about to tee up a thunderbolt with his left foot.
    • 46' We're back in action at Goodison Park, and straight away Everton charge forward and Phil Neville slots the ball in towards the bottom corner. Vorm makes a fine save to push the ball past the left post.
    • - The whistle blows for the end of the first half, and it's honours even: both sides have had great chances to score, but a combination of good defending and poor finishing has kept it goalless.
    • 45'+1 One added minute to play, but given that there have been no injuries, bookings or goals I have absolutely no idea where they found that from.
    • 45'+1 Very nice move through the middle by Swansea, despite an underhit pass by Dyer that almost ends it. The ball eventually comes across the pitch, but Distin is there to clear.
    • 45' Swansea being kept very quiet in this last 10 minutes, but they're soaking up the pressure pretty well.
    • 44' Everton work yet another chance, this time Baines has an outside chance with a header from 18 yards but he cannot hit the target.
    • 43' Nice run up the right by Coleman, but his cross is headed clear of the six-yard box by Chico.
    • 42' Moyes, on the bench, does not look impressed by Osman's effort there.
    • 41' Terrible, terrible miss by Everton! Lovely free kick curled into the box by Leighton Baines right onto Leon Osman's head, but his header is guided woefully wide. He missed by a good 10 yards.
    • 40' Tiendalli penalised harshly for a tackle on Pienaar, 28 yards out and on the right. Could be a shot from this one, or could be a danger ball whipped across.
    • 39' Agustien's through-ball to Michu was a beauty in that near-miss a couple of minutes ago - the replay shows just how well-weighted it was.
    • 38' Pienaar goes on a run, but is halted courtesy of a crunching tackle from Chico just outside the box.
    • 37' Another half-chance for Everton as Coleman fights past two men on the edge of the box and slides it across to Fellaini, whose shot is weak and straight at Vorm.
    • 36' Michu hits the bar! A lovely through-ball for the Spanish striker cuts the Everton defence open, and the first-time left-foot lob effort is almost perfect - but not quite! Howard gets just enough glove to the ball to tip it onto the crossbar. Almost a stunning goal.
    • 35' Swansea get on yet another counter...
    • 34' Everton have had 56% of the ball so far in the match...
    • 33' Swansea try to reply with a swift counter-attack, but it all falls apaart as Nathan Dyer tries a tricksy backheel that falls flat: the man behind him, Chico, was long gone.
    • 32' Another half-chance for Everton, Fellaini getting on to a long diagonal ball by Jagielka, but he's unable to get the ball past Williams.
    • 30' OFF THE LINE BY SWANSEA! A long ball through the centre almost bears fruit as Fellaini heads the ball down to Anichebe, who gets on the end of it and almost heads in. His mis-timed header is only slowed down a little by Vorm's hand and is still going towards goal, but Ashley Williams steps in to clear up field.
    • 29' Neither side on top of the other as the game stands right now...
    • 28' Swansea come forward again, but Michu mis-controls the ball and Neville steps in to claim it.
    • 27' Coleman's long ball looks like finding Pienaar on the left, but a diving header from Tiendalli sends the ball back to Vorm.
    • 26' Another Swansea tiki-taka move is ended with a more, ahem, traditionally Premier League-style piece of skill from Seamus Coleman, intercepting a delicately curving pass and mullering it as hard as humanly possible.
    • 25' Everton win a corner, but again Vorm is there to take it. He's looking increasingly confident as this match goes on, the recent spell in the physio room clearly not having done any harm.
    • 24' Everton jump in on the counter and Baines carves a nice cross in from the left, but Vorm jumps confidently and grabs it with both hands.
    • 23' Swansea have obviously been given the call from the bench to try and keep the ball as much as possible.- lots of back and forth right now.
    • 22' Swansea have men behind the ball and stop another attack, and Hernandez orchestrates a counter that is full of art and clever touches... right up until Jagielka manages to get his boot in and hack the ball up field.
    • 21' The stadium announcer tells all the naughty Everton fans to stop standing up. Tsk.
    • 20' You can almost hear Michael Laudrup's blood pressure rising with these close calls for his defence...
    • 19' Everton beginning to make plenty of little chances at the moment - Swansea are defending well, and now it's the turn of Chico to cut out a low cross heading for Jelavic.
    • 18' The replays show that Jelavic's header was probably going wide, but still full marks to Tiendalli for his sharp work.
    • 17' Swansea fly forward on the counter but Agustien can't latch onto the through ball.
    • 16' OFF THE LINE! The corner is hit to where Jelavic lashes the ball into the far bottom corner with a glancing header - but Tiendalli is there at the far post to boot the ball clear. Stunning quick reactions.
    • 15' Everton move up again and win a corner, Baines will take.
    • 14' Magnificent tackle by Chico Flores as he goes into a one-on-one in the box with Jelavic. Perfect timing, putting his foot right in and clearing danger.
    • 13' Everton get no closer to goal, and as Phil Neville collides with Michu in mid-air Swansea get a free kick to relieve the pressure.
    • 12' Lovely team move worked through the centre by Everton, with Coleman releasing Jelavic with a great ball past Ben Davies. Jelavic is offside, but Dowd brings it back for a free kick to the Toffees having played the advantage as Coleman was fouled.
    • 11' The defending wasn't great to let Jelavic slip away and earn that chance - normally he buries those ones.
    • 10' Swansea get away with murder! Looping cross by Pienaar finds Jelavic at the far post, but he completely mishits the ball! It bounces slowly past Vorm, but runs just past the far post. Huge let-off for the visitors.
    • 9' Half an opening for Swansea as Agustien hits a long ball through two blue shirts for Rangel to chase, but Distin covers across and gets there first.
    • 8' The free kick comes to nothing as Michu had strayed offside.
    • 7' Osman is penalised for clattering into the back of Hernandez - Swansea will be able to pump the ball into the box.
    • 6' Nice work by Tiendalli on the right wing as he beats Osman and Baines before going down, but again Dowd waves away what seems a foul deciding that Tienalli ran into Baines on purpose.
    • 5' Long ball up from Hernandez finds Nathan Dyer in space and on side, but his control is poor and Jagielka covers back well to stop any drama developing.
    • 4' Everton marginally on top of these opening exchanges...
    • 3' Both sides looking pretty sharp so far - Swansea almost win a free kick just outside the box as Hernandez gets collected by Distin, but Phil Dowd says no.
    • 2' Almost a big mix-up in the Swansea box almost lets Jelavic through - Vorm has to charge out of the box and make a sliding clearance.
    • 1' Early exchanges see the ball come to Fellaini in space, and he has a dig from just outside the box - the bouncing effort is collected confidently by Vorm.
    • 1' The match kicks off at Goodison Park.
    • 14:59 Big news for Michu today: Spain coach Vicente del Bosque is in the crowd watch the Swansea striker.
    • 14:58 Everton in their usual blue strip today, Swansea line up in fetching red.
    • 14:55 It's a chilly, gloomy day at Goodison Park today: lots of woolly hats and scarves among the spectators. As your granny might say, 'there's snow in that wind'. (Obviously the Met Office saying very much the same sort of thing).
    • 14:50 Given Everton's good season so far, and the fact that Swansea have never scored a Premier League goal against Everton, it's no wonder the bookies make the home side 4/7 favourites, with Swansea a generous 16/7 and the draw 3/1.
    • 14:45 Only in 2004-05, when they finished fourth and made the Champions League qualifiers spot, did Everton have more points than they have this season after 21 games. They had 40 then, and are on 36 now.
    • 14:40 Swansea boss Laudrup seems a bit more overawed at dealing the transfer madness that descends in January: "There are a lot of talks and rumours in the first three and a half weeks (of the window) and a few things get done. But then in the last few days or even in the final 10 hours, everything goes nuts. It is like a final sale at the shops."
    • 14:36 Nice to see Moyes trying to be down with the kids.
    • 14:35 Marouane Fellaini starts for the Toffees today, and David Moyes is playing it cool on rumours that he will be sold to Chelsea: "I'm not concerned," he said in the week. "I'm quite cool with it, I think that's what they say nowadays."
    • 14:30 Whatever happens today, we can probably expect goals: Everton are the first team in Premier League history to both score and concede in 16 consecutive games. The last team who failed to score against them, however, was Swansea, who they beat 3-0 at the Liberty Stadium back in September.
    • 14:25 The good news for Everton is that Leighton Baines won his fitness battle and starts, but Kevin Mirallas is still out with his hamstring problem. Swansea boss Michael Laudrup has left Danny Graham on the bench amid widespread reports that he'll be sold this month.
    • 14:20 TEAMS: EVERTON - Howard, Baines, Jagielka, Jelavic, Distin, Neville, Osman, Pienaar, Coleman, Fellaini, Anichebe. Subs: Mucha, Oviedo, Naismith, Hitzlsperger, Vellios, Kennedy, Duffy. //// SWANSEA - Vorm, Flores, Williams, Tiendalli, Rangel, Ki, Agustien, Michu, Dyer, Hernandez, Davies. Subs: Tremmel, Bartley, Britton, Graham, Routledge, Monk, de Guzman
    • 14:!5 Welcome to our LIVE coverage of Everton's Premier League clash against Swansea City.
  • Summary
