Liverpool marked an emotional day for retiring legend Jamie Carragher with a comfortable 1-0 win over relegated QPR. More
90+3' FULL TIME! Carragher's swan song ends with a win thanks to Coutinho's first-half strike!
85' ...Seb Coates takes his place after yet another memorable Jamie C moment today. A guard of honour, an almost-hand-of-god, a 30-yard woodwork rattler and now this.
83' Enrique! Green parries his fierce effort after great work from Borini! Make that 25 Liverpool chances!
81' Suso moves inside from the left-hand byline and has a cross-cumshot parried by Green. Downing on the rebound! Traore with a vital block AGAIN!
80' Final Rangers change: Junior Hoilett replaces Park.
75' That will be the goalscorer's final contribution. Off Coutinho comes and Suso will get a quarter of an hour here. Each side has one switch left.
73' Second QPR sub as Jamie Mackie replaces Zamora.
72' Borini appears to foul Townsend, who does not get the decision and then picks up his own yellow card for dissent.
65' Derry goes in rough on Borini and that's an easy booking.
64' Ovation for Ibe who, in the wake of a legend's retirement, has made a good starting account of himself. On comes Fabio Borini.
62' CARRAGHER ALMOST SCORES A SCREAMER! 30-yard drive comes off the angle! What a send-off that would have been!
60' VIDEO: Jamie Carragher's pre-match guard of honour.
50' Now Johnson gets the ball into the QPR box again, a little more centrally this time, and his audacious shot on the outside of the laces has to be pushed away by Green at the last second!
46' Liverpool kick off the final 45 minutes of Carragher's career - we hope to have a video of his guard of honour for you shortly.
- QPR make a half-time switch with Remy making way for Esteban Granero.
45+1' After a minute of added time, it's half-time at Anfield. Coutinho's low strike separates the two sides but he should have had another in the second minute which was wrongly ruled to have NOT crossed the line. Liverpool 1-0 QPR
31' Hill is booked for that foul on Sturridge just before the set piece.
22' GOAL! Coutinho should be on the scoresheet - now he is! Ibe gets his first Liverpool assist cutting inside before feeding the Brazilian short. His low drive finds the bottom corner neatly. 1-0!

45′ First, let me congratulate Liverpool for finishing this forgettable season. On reflection, looking at the table of the best attack, Liverpool came fourth and I think sixth on the best defence. By all account and based on these statistics, Liverpool should actually be in the Champions League. This begs the question, what went wrong?. Was it too many draws, bad defence , bad management or what exactly happened?. After scoring so many goals, not being in at least EUROPA League is incredible. Can we look at all these shortcomings and learn from them. If we can add two or three quality players during the summer, I think we have hope. But the new players must add value to the team and not just there to make up- the numbers. We have enough of redundant players already in Downing, Henderson, Carrol, Allen and co. We don't need another dead wood players in the summer. Enough is enough. We need quality and not quantity please.
I love my Reds!
