Manchester City were held by Everton as Carlos Tevez's penalty cancelled out Marouane Fellaini's opener in a 1-1 draw. More
90+3' And there goes the full-time whistle. A great point for Everton. A draw was about fair with both teams creating few chances between them. A very tense affair.
90+3' Johnny Heitinga comes on for Jelavic. Shut up shop time for Everton.
90' Jelavic fires the free-kick at goal but Hart is just able to tip his effort past the post.
89' Zabaleta goes into the book for the tackle.
81' Balotelli comes on for Dzeko. He put in a decent shift today against a strong Everton defence.
74' Bryan Oviedo comes on for Naismith. The Scot has faded as the game has gone on.
70' Fellaini is booked for a late tackle on Zabaleta.
69' Segio Aguero comes on for Tevez. He worked very hard today and of course got the all-important equaliser.
63' Some lovely work from Maicon down the right as he drives forward before firing an effort at goal. Howard just manages to deal with the swerving effort.
45+2' And there's the half-time whistle. What an exciting end to the half after a pretty slow start. An enthralling second half awaits...
46' And we're off...
45+2' Lescott goes into the book for a late tackle on Pienaar.
44' Tevez slots the penalty calmly past Howard. He sends it right down the middle. The keeper with little chance there.
43' City have won a penalty! Dzeko brought down in the area by Fellaini.
42' Nasri picks out Barry with a cross. He chests it to Dzeko who strikes it at goal but Howard doea well to make the save and turn it round the post.
37' Nasri picks out Tevez with a fine cross. The striker does well to force a header in at goal but Howard tips it round the post. Strong save.
33' Everton take the lead through Fellaini as Hart makes a great save to deny his original header but the Belgian is there to follow it up and knock it in.
6' Kolarov has picked up an early injury and will be replaced by Zabaleta. A like for like switch.

Manchester CityManager: Roberto Mancini
EvertonManager: David Moyes
Like Chel$ky they are not a team , a collection of highly priced players on huge salaries and are they really any good? Everton cost the price of a pint ,$$city ,£billions and a draw at the Eithiad the Sheik might have something to say about that . Look at Everton , Westham, Tottenham and Untd together they wouldn't cost the subs bench but they are winning"teams" . Its teams that win things not mercanaries that use cynical fouls etc. Please carry on we love it
Oh well, another boring draw from the most expensive team ever bought in the history of english football. Mancini is becoming the oppositions 12th man with his ridiculous tinkering and substitutions. Its good for every other team in the league but City are begining to suffer. Long may he continue especially as you host Man United this coming weekend. This week will also see your exit from the European Cup and hopefully out of Europe altogether 3 points from the so called champions of England is a disgrace in anybody's books. Dwindling crowds and no doubt your yearly accounts will show another massive loss. What a way to run a club!!!!!
city are basterds
Where are we going to achieve with the endless run of draws? should our hopes stay alive?
Borat.....I was only quoting what somebody else said and making comments.....I would rather United win the League but I don't see that happening.....City have a big squad which means if things are not going well they have quality on the subsitutes bench and City with better players in most if not every position certainly defend better
Still no comments; pathetic Yahoo.
Where are the comments Yahoo???
Bravo Fellaini, encore! Today everything went well after United fans heart, the rune of matches suggest PL cup will be adorned with red ribbons at the end of the season.
Holding off high-prized, star-laden Manchester City at Etihad isn't a bad result, however Everton's successive draws bore us. Blues are climbing down the table, with draws we will have no chance for ascent to European cups.
Shutup Borat!
why a draw,,, City deserves better,, but everton isnt a bad side aswel,, but a big shame to the BLUES,,,
