A Jonny Howson wonder goal secured Norwich City a surprising but deserved 3-2 win over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. More
FT And there is the full-time whistle – a great performance from Norwich and a deserved win – work to do for City's new manager.
90+1 We will have three extra minutes.
90' Norwich bring on Becchio for Holt.
84' Finally a yellow card. Mark Halsey has no choice as Lescott takes out Hoolahan on the break.
81' Norwich bringing on Elliot Bennett for Anthony Pilkington.
79' Dzeko fires over from close range after a quick City passing move. Low ball from Aguero looked for the Bosnian and Bennett probably did just enough to put him off.
66' And Rodwell won't equalise this time – he is off and Silva is one while Norwich bring on Tettey for Johnson.
64' GOAL NORWICH!!! What a goal from Jonny Howson who runs from just inside his own area into the box before placing home a lovely finish. Woeful defending again but super stuff.
60' GOAL CITY!! Rodwell has scored again!!! It all came from a Norwich attack that broke down….Yaya Toure burst clear and then plays a superb ball to put Rodwell away…he still had lots to do but fired home a superb shot from a tough angle.
54' GOAL NORWICH!!!! Grant Holt has put them back in front….Superb cross field pass from Hoolahan finds Snodgrass on the right of the box and controls with class before rolling it across to Holt to put into an empty net lovely goal.
50' And it is Carlos Tevez who is going off for City – he has been their best player but maybe that is his reward. Standing ovation – could it be his last appearance for City? He has been linked with Monaco and PSG. Aguero on.
48' SAVE HART!!! Snodgrass whips a free-kick into the box – Johnson heads it into the ground first and Hart has to push it away. Just lacked a little power.
46' And we are back underway...no changes.
HT The half ends with some handbags from Tevez and Howson. 1-1 at the break but Norwich could actually be in front.
42' Snodgrass fires a shot at an angle just wide of the target, any touch and that would have gone in – all came after a poor City clearance.
31' Snodgrass gets the free-kick on target and Hart has to push it over the bar. Could have maybe caught that.
29' GOAL CITY!!! Jack Rodwell has levelled matters just three minutes after Norwich scored. Dzeko is found with his back to goal in the box and he just shifts it across to Rodwell who smashes it into the corner – his first City goal.
26' GOAL NORWICH!!! They have a deserved lead – awful defending from City and Hoolahan is there to nudge the ball through for Pilkington to slot home.
22' OFF THE LINE - Ryan Bennett gets his head on a corner and the ball is heading for the top corner but Lescott is there to head it away.
21' BIG SHOT for a penalty as Yaya Toure seems to block a cross with his arm.
1' We are underway and it takes Manchester City fans 13 seconds to start chanting for Roberto Mancini.

90′ We must ask ourselves why have Norwich City results been so good the last 2 games its because at last we played attacking foot ball i hope Hugh ton does not return to the miserable defensive football we have had to tolerate just to stay up its been dreadful to watch.
Holt played a little better last two matches but has had an awful season ,beware to any clubs that were thinking about signing him,I think that his career is coming to an end.Saying that please some-one sign him so we can unload him
Sorry to say it but Brian Kidd hasn't a clue how to manage, he took off his best players in Tevez and Rodwell seemed to want to score again.
Liked the new kit city - Norwich City that is. Good to see so much light blue all around the etihad today. Oh, just watched Match of The Day. It was empty seats. loyal supporters? OTBC.
It is clear out time, Kolorov, Lescott, Barry, Sinclair, Dzeko to start. If that was Kidd's team today then he should go with them, why 5 changes from Wednesday night, why take Rodwell and Tevez off, pathetic!!!!! THERE CANNOT BE 1 TRUE CITY SUPPORTER THAT IS FEELING GOOD ABOUT THE TEAM RIGHT NOW and the so called 'management team' think that a no win Chilean is the answer to drive the team forward then I as a supporter for over 50 years, fear for the clubs future!!
lol
after spending so much money and still can't beat Norwich at home...totally embarrassing...City are pure losers
Amongst all the nonsense that has gone on over the last 9 days, I've just realised that had (Man) City still had something riding on this match, they would have had to bust a gut just 12 hours before checking in for a long-haul flight! Ridiculous.
Norwich the giant killers :)
Kidd your gone pal you never played the best team and we pay money to watch the best team first game at home ou lose kidd you are fired
city are back, city are back....
Norwich are a very good side. Their main problem is that they mark spaces not players, which has resulted in many losses this season. The fact that they have 10 clean sheets, 14 draws shows that they are a good side. They surely need a good striker next year and a good psychologist to build their self confidence during difficult times.
United hit 5 the emptyhead stadium tossers hit rock bottom, relegation next season for you girls lol.
The true schitty coming out now. How they won the title last year beats me. Pile of horse dung. Come on Norwich.
KIDD YOU DONT NO WHAT YOUR DOING
Rodwell to score a Hatrick !
Oh!! For crying out loud City!!!
Kidd why have you took tev of he as played great you dont no what your doing
come on city u can beat nordwich
