90+1' A late change for City as Aguero is replaced by Javi Garcia.
88' GOAL! Manchester City 2-1 Tottenham! Super sub Edin Dzeko! The Bosnian does it again after coming off the bench. He lays the ball off to Silva and then sneaks into the box to meet a gorgeous lofted pass from the Spaniard with a volleyed finish Lovely stuff.
87' Tottenham make their final change as Kyle Naughton replaces Lennon.
84' City go close again! Now Dzeko tees up Aguero with a gorgeous little back-heel but Friedel saves from his firm drive.
83' Silva goes close! The Spaniard jinks away from Dawson and rolls a shot agonisingly wide of the post. A big chance for City.
79' Chance for City! Dzeko gets his head to the ball in front of Dawson but sends the ball wide from the corner. That was a very good chance.
78' Walker is replaced and doesn't look too impressed. Michael Dawson is on in his place.
76' Ouch. Adebayor goes in on Zabaleta and leaves his arm in, catching his opponent in the face. That is a clear booking.
73' That proves to be Tevez's last contribution as he is replaced by Edin Dzeko.

45+2' HALF TIME. Caulker's header has Spurs in front. Are those boos I can hear?
45+1' Chance for City! Silva plays in Zabaleta with a clever pass but the right-back gets the ball stuck under his feet as he just about digs a shot out. That isn't troubling Friedel.

35' Toure spreads the ball to Aguero on the left and the striker plays in Kolarov, who from 20 yards takes a first-time shot that flies just wide of the far post.
33' City have another shout for a penalty when Zabaleta goes to ground in the box after being knocked to ground by Huddlestone. That was pretty clumsy.
29' Awful refereeing! Zabaleta is booked for fouling Adebayor but it was a clear dive from the Spurs striker. Ade is winning the duel so far.
27' The first booking of the game goes to Walker as he slides in on Toure just a split-second too late.
26' Lovely from Adebayor! He embarks on a brilliant run and when in front of goal backheels to find Huddlestone, who drives a firm effort just wide. A great attempt.

15' Aguero sneaks into the penalty area to the right of the box but Kyle Walker puts in a fine tackle as he nicks the ball away from the Argentina striker.

87′ every week its the same oldsame old we have got some of the best players arround we need a good leader get one befor its too late old harry must be laughing his nuts off at 77 i am a life long fan will i ever see the likes of jimmy greaves etc
For some strange region it seems that the spurs players are playing below their true abilities. I remember the same thing happening at chelsea and as soon as avb left the same players went on to win the champions league...
City need to go back to the drawing board when it comes to defending set-pieces, it's getting embarrassing now! They also need to push up their goal difference before the New Year. CTID
Have no real idea what all the Spurs fans are moaning about. Spurs played quite well, but they are seriously wrong about Defoe, however. Against top quality defenders Defoe is always found wanting and Ade had a good game yesterday. Spurs have no real issues compared to Arsenal and with easy points to pick up at Arsenal next week yesterdays game will just be a bad memory. I'm a gooner by the way...
I was absolutely aghast at AVB's lack of perception during the second half. Anyone with half a footballing brain could see that Adebayor and Dempsey were totally in need of substitution much earlier than he did, then, to bring on Naughton.... Dempsey and Adebayor could not control the ball well at all. Very, very disappointed with the manager and some of the players at the moment.
BRING BACK HARRY - RIGHT NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't understand the ratings as Gael Clichy was arguably Man of the Match and deserved at least an 8.
This season for sure is the 2nd term of Robertoooo Mancini to hold the premier leangue cup. let the world understand that.
Man city (Citizen) on top forever & ever.
avb is a loser and tottenham are the biggest #$%$ of all for hiring him...you lose
Looking at the fixture list, I can't see us picking up too many points before Christmas, so bottom half of table by January. Will the board wake up them? I doubt it. AVB looks a bit lost, what is he making his selections based on?
Sack Andre Villas-Boas immediately!
where is your second keeper ROBERTO?? Spurs have substitute for Brad.... you have Hart soft goal today...
What a player i don't see why the still haven't let him play in the starting lineup.
Well the magical Portuguese having lived on the win at MU has now proved that he has done nothing when it comes to defending, look at the results within the last 10 minutes of the matches. Maybe the Tottenham management should make an offer to de Matteo he certainly knows how make his team defend
Sinclair moved from Swansea to sit on the bench. Hahahaha !!! very professional..
I see Champion's League dreamer Dempsey didn't score! Ha! Keep on dreaming, Demp!
I love the Man City FCNK fan outfit. The one that looks like a plastic seat. They are very popular.
One up front ? They used two up front in the week and scored 3. Taxi for Mr. Boas.
Why Mr Friedel?
