QPR were all but relegated after crashing to a 2-0 defeat at home at the hands of Stoke City. More
FULL TIME: QPR 0-2 Stoke City. And it’s all over for QPR. Life in the Championship beckons.
90' Stoke sub Crouch goes off for Geoff Cameron and the QPR fans sportingly applaud their former player. Four added minutes.
78' N’Zonzi raises a left leg and goes into the book after bringing down Hoilett.
76' GOAL Stoke! Walters makes no mistake again and plants it into the bottom left corner. Surely no coming back now.
75' It’s a re-take as Walters lashes it home...
74' Another silly foul in the final third and Stoke have another free kick. Whelan takes and the header from Huth clatters against the bar. Crouch is pulled back from Hill and Stoke have a penalty!
69' Stoke sub: Whitehead on for Adam.
65' Great chance for Adam but he fires his volley over. Well that should have been 2-0.
61' And that is indeed the end for Wilson who is helped from the pitch. Wilkinson comes on.
56' A magnificent save from Begovic to deny Samba but Mbia is offside anyway.
55' QPR sub: Taarabt off for Bothroyd
54' A great turn and shot from Remy who is clear but it’s a really good save from Begovic and it’s smuggled away for a corner by Shawcross.
49' Shawcross in acres of space in the box and he floats it over the bar when a cross was required. Caught in two minds.
45' QPR sub: Mackie on for Townsend.
45' We’re back underway here at Loftus Road and you don’t need me to say it. QPR need something special!
Well he was clearly caught but the free kick goes the other way and that’s half time. QPR 0-1 Stoke.
45' Derry swings it in and Samba flicks it just wide but the flag was up for offside. Close again though.
42' GOAL Stoke! And Peter Crouch scores against the run of play. Wilson set Jerome away who crossed for Crouch and the big man couldn’t miss.
36' Remy blasts it into the wall. It falls back to Taarabt and he hoofs it over. Another great chance blown.
35' Adam loses out, Taarabt plays a 1-2 with Remy on the edge of the box and Whelan brings him down! Close to a penalty but another great chance.
31' Taarabt takes and it’s a good save from Begovic to his right to keep it at 0-0!
29' Mbia looks for Remy over the top with an early ball but there’s just too much on it. Crouch with a dipping volley from the outside of the right boot and it’s a good save from Green! Memories of that cracker against man City for a moment.
28' Remy hits it first time from the edge of the box and it flashes wide! Great effort and he’s on form.
25' Walters hits a speculative shot that moves and dips and nearly catches Rob Green by surprise but he palms it down behind him and catches it.
23' Great touch from Remy to pull it down and get the shot away and Begovic is down quickly to save.
21' You get the feeling that the first goal in this game could be crucial. Jerome drives a ball across the face of goal but QPR clear and win a free kick. Charlie Adam goes into the book for fouling Hoilett.
17' The corner swings in and there’s a free header for Remy which appears to come off Shotton’s arm but the free kick goes the other way for Clint Hill blocking.
6' Taarabt fouled in a dangerous area. Free kick and a good chance. Taarabt takes himself and it’s just over the top. Not far away but Begovic had it covered.
4' The QPR defence were carved open far too easily by Charlie Adam and they must beware when they attack. Great cross from Shotton and Jerome has another great chance to score from a header but he glances it wide!
3' Adam puts Jerome free in the box and it’s a great chance but he tries to get it onto his right foot and dallies too long. Chance gone!
1' Tarabt lets fly within the opening 30 seconds and it whistles just over the angle of Begovic’s goal. Not a bad effort!
1' Referee Chris Foy blows the whistle to get us underway here at Loftus Road. Quite simply, it’s a must win for QPR and even then it would require a Houdini act to stay up. Both teams starting 4-4-2.

70′
62′
90′ Well they had a second division team, a second division ground and now they're in the second division. Teams always manage to find their level in the end.
Huth is Good !
Don't understand it,you got rid of sulky boy to turkey, good move to start with, but have a wide boy from murky to run the show, never trust a man who's eyes are too close together.Whatever they do,they must not employ sulky's brother rubber face now he's on his way down,he's already run out on England,so be warned. Why do the queens keep shooting themselves in the foot at every turn and take a one way ticket to oblivion.
We must be lucky. The Manager of QPR was chosen or picked to manage our national team. By the way he selects players and position them on the field, the national team would have been in bad trouble. The players do the same thing days-0ut days-in with the same result/ Long balls will never win you any thing. You have to mix long, short. diagonal, back, air, ground etc. to give your opponents new styles to defend. Considering money the team spent, they should not be in the relegation zone/ Money does not buy victory unless you are ManU/ VPC.
'Ard lines 'Arry :-(
Goodbye 'Arry & QPR, you won't be missed!!! :-)
