    • 65' Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is furious about a late challenge on Sessegnon. He is letting the fourth official know courtesy of a mouthful.
    • 64' Hoilett taken out late by Larsson, but Samba can't connect with the free-kick. Disappointing end to that for QPR.
    • 63' The home fans trying to encourage their side to find the goal that would surely win this game. The second half yet to come to life, it must be said.

    • 40' Redknapp and Joe Jordan having a few words. The QPR bench must be happy enough with their lot. Has been a decent first period for the home team.
    • 39' Ball comes back out to Park from the corner, but too much pace on the cross as it flies straight out of play.
    • 38' Green off his line to grab a cross before setting QPR off on the break. Some more bright play by Townsend. QPR have a corner.
    • 37' Remy’s goal was QPR’s first home Premier League goal for 480 minutes. And what an important one it may yet prove to be.
    • 36' Stéphane M'Bia uncorks a shot from distance. Plenty of pace on the effort, but Mignolet is alert in diving to make a smart stop.
    • 35' Hoilett looking far from content with that decision, but the plays rages on with QPR very much on the front foot.
    • 34' QPR continue to keep the ball with some relish. Hoilett seemed to be felled by Bramble on the edge of the Sunderland box, but the referee waves play on.
    • 33' Loic Remy scores his third Premier League goal for QPR and his first at Loftus Road. He has scored 3 Premier League goals in just 330 minutes. One goal every 110 minutes. Top scorer Luis Suarez has scored a goal every 115 minutes.

    • 30' Bramble across quickly to smash the ball away from Remy after a nice ball by Fabio. QPR with their tails up here.
    • 29' QPR have not won a Premier League match when they’ve conceded the opening goal this season. However, they have drawn four times. On course for a fifth perhaps.
    • 28' The home fans in full voice. Can't really say that wasn't merited as QPR have been the prominent side in this first 30 minutes.
    • 27' GOAL! Remy slides the ball beyond Mignolet and it is 1-1 here. Fine finish after Townsend's hopeful shot broke kindly to him off a Sunderland shirt.
    • 26' Free-kick for QPR from out wide comes to nothing as Fabio's delivery is plucked out of the air by Mignolet with some comfort.
    • 25' Graham nods over the bar under pressure from Samba. That was a half-chance for the visiting side to add the second goal.
    • 24' Sunderland now edging possession as Green comes off his line to wallop clear a loose ball. Flecther just failing to keep the ball in play out wide seconds later.
    • 23' Steven Fletcher scores his 11th Premier League goal of the season. He is the highest Sunderland scorer in a Premier League season since 2009-10 when Darren Bent scored 24 goals.
    • 22' Stéphane M'Bia drives the ball miles over the bar from distance. Intelligent play by Zamora to pick him out, but the finish was rushed.
    • 21' Larsson brings park crashing to the deck with a late challenge. QPR looking to hit back straight away.
    • 20' Sunderland fans loving that moment while the QPR faithful are stunned into silence. First real piece of attacking play by the visiting side of any great meaning.
    • 19' GOAL! Fletcher converts from close range after Johnson had drove a shot across goal. Brilliant play out wide by Sessegnon. Sunderland with the 1-0 lead here.
    • 18' Remy throws a dangerous free-kick into the Sunderland box. Mignolet can't collect at the first attempt before Sunderland scramble the loose ball clear.
    • 17' N'Diaye tries his luck from distance, but he wallops the ball a couple of yards wide of goal. Worth the effort.
    • 16' Johnson tries to beat Bosingwa, but that is a classy piece of defending to halt his progress. QPR holding firm.
    • 15' Park is bundled to the deck by Colback before Sunderland regain possession seconds later.
    • 14' Sunderland have won only six of their last 46 Premier League games in London. Not exactly going about this one well so far.
    • 13' Hoilett attempts to pick out Zamora with a lovely through ball, but just too much pace as Mignolet collects the ball.
    • 12' Sessegnon brings the ball into the home half. Gardner with the throw-in for Sunderland before O'Shea knocks the ball straight out of play.
    • 11' Harry Redknapp and Martin O'Neill both cutting concerned figures in their respective dugouts. Fletcher just failing to collect a loose ball there.
    • 10' Hoilett looking very bright for the home side. Sunderland yet to really show what they can do in this match. Sunderland 14th in the table, 10 clear of bottom side QPR as we stand.
    • 9' Another decent piece of play by Hoilett. Cuts inside a couple of Sunderland players, but thumps the effort spinning well wide of goal from distance.
    • 8' Townsend thumps a shot miles over the bar. That was a bit adventurous from that range. We remain at 0-0 with neither side establishing supremacy yet.
    • 7' Zamora takes a tumble under pressure from O'Shea. Home fans appeal for a penalty, but the referee tells the forward to get on with it.
    • 6' QPR hoist a couple of high hopeful balls into the Sunderland half, but Bramble shows his alertness by heading out of the danger area.
    • 5' QPR have scored 8 Premier League home goals this season. That is a shared lowest number of goals scored by a Premier League club after their opening 14 home matches, together with Derby in 2007-08 and Crystal Palace in 1997-98
    • 4' Green sees his first action of the day as he comes off his line to collect a high ball. Easy pickings for him as he replaced the injured Julio Cesar.
    • 3' Glorious chance for QPR as Hoilett bursts into the opposing box, but he cuts a show inches wide of goal from inside the box. Mignolet was beaten there. So near, yet so far.
    • 2' A late challenge by O'Shea on M'Bia and the home side have a free-kick here as they look to press forward.
    • 1' Sunderland get the action off and running here. The visiting side in possession.
    • 14:57 Team out on the park and we are almost ready to go with this one.
    • 14:55 Harry Redknapp said this week he would like his side to reach 37 points this season, 17 more points than they have now. That would mean they need to average 1.7 points per game for the remaining 10 matches. They have averaged 0.7 points a game from their opening 28 Premier League matches this season. Under Redknapp they have picked up 16 points from 15 Premier League matches.
    • 14:50 Match odds if you fancy a flutter on this one QPR 13/10, Sunderland 23/10, Draw 21/10.
    • 14:45 Sunderland are unbeaten in 11 league games against QPR, winning seven, drawing four and not losing to them since April 1991. QPR haven’t won consecutive Premier League games since December 1995. Rangers have gone 472 minutes without a home goal.
    • 14:40 Martin O'Neill: "I think QPR have decided to really go for it. They spent heavily in the January window because they still felt there was a chance of staying in the Premier League. It is entirely their prerogative to do that and time will tell if it works. What they have done with those additions is they have given themselves an immeasurably better chance of staying up. They will feel they are within touching distance and it is all to play for."
    • 14:35 Harry Redknapp: "It will be a tough game. Sunderland are strong up front. They’ve got two very good strikers. But we’re at home and we need to give our fans something to shout about. We’re still in there. We’ve still got a good chance. I’ve been optimistic all along and I still feel we’ll stay up. We’re ready to go. We’re ready to give everything.”
    • 14:30 QPR boss Harry Redknapp is without goalkeeper Julio Cesar but Bobby Zamora starts for the home side. Brazil international Cesar had to be replaced in the second half of last weekend's 2-1 win at Southampton following a heavy collision, while Zamora was doubtful with the ankle injury that has kept him out of that match. Robert Green, who made a vital late save after coming on at St Mary's, takes over from Cesar in goal.
    • 14:25 Sunderland are unchanged from the side that drew with Fulham last week. Matthew Kilgallon and Danny Rose ease Martin O'Neill's personnel worries by returning to the Sunderland squad. Defender Kilgallon is back in the fold after missing last week due to illness, while Rose could also figure after coming through a training match this week following a hamstring strain.

  1. Small squad lmao, how things change. How the tide turns, I remember earlier in the season when we couldn't even put a team out through injuries and various other factors, and you lot couldn't get enough of it. Everytime you lot play us you park the bus and come for a draw, hoping u might nick it on the break. News flash we have a much better squad and team than last year regardless of what the league says, that is down to injuries etc etc. We will now climb the league, and lets not forget Europe. The last 8 of the Europa is something you lot can only have wet dreams about. Roll on the derby because I can't see you getting any points between now and us. I predict you will only get points from 2 teams in your remaining fixtures and nothing in the next 5. Norwich, Man U, Chelsea, us, Everton = 0 points pnmsl

Paul, yep, you JUST SAY won against Stoke !!! As I said you would ! By the way Im not turning on MON,every manager makes mistakes,we have a small squad without full back cover and why he went for Graham I dont know !! As for getting hammered in the derby I remember you lot saying that last season and guess what you scraped a draw v ten men !! Another lucky injury time equaliser !!

From Joseph, on Mon 11 Mar 14:35
  3. Looks like we won against Stoke Joseph ha ha ha, and all you sad mackems is blame the manager. I seem to remember when you first got him he was the best thing since sliced bread, and I agreed with you at the time. The fact of the matter your defence is dreadful, come on Bramble is just a liability, why do u think we got rid. Come the Summer when you go down your going to lose the 1 or 2 decent players you have and I can see you being in the same boat as Boro. I nearly forgot I've never looked forward to a derby so much in my life. You are going to get hammered.

From paul, on Mon 11 Mar 13:36
  4. O.M.G. that was just plain embarrassing. All the staff and players should donate their wages to charity, at least SOMETHING good would come out of the game!.

From Phoney Tony, on Mon 11 Mar 2:31
  5. Danny Graham, good man, Geordie secret weapon, as good as footballer as Steve Bruce to management.By God, the Mackems can not half pick them.

From Yvonne M, on Sun 10 Mar 10:39
  6. Blobby, check my posts ,pinned what hopes on Graham, I didnt want the Geordie plank,if he isnt good enough for Swansea why the 4-k should we shell out £5m for him? This buy could get MON his cards ! What are you on about ? Ive said we're shyte ,have your laughs Toonies, but think on,you havent beaten Stoke yet !

From Joseph, on Sat 9 Mar 23:04
  7. Bosingwa looked very good today. I'm glad that he and the manager are back on speaking terms.

From Red Sox Fan, on Sat 9 Mar 21:28
  8. the facts cannot be disputed. Martin O'Neill is failing in his job. Don't be fooled by the media image of a calm and intelligent man. Calm he is not. Polite he is not. Successful he is certainly not. I have never seen a team take the field looking so inept and totally lacking in self belief and passion. We need a new manager who doesn't just talk the talk. It's the championship next season unless he learns how to walk on water

From Maxisdad, on Sat 9 Mar 20:23
  9. When I forecast 2-1 to QPR I forgot about their supersub Jenas!

  11. Nazi, don't be like that, if the shoe was on the other glove, you mackems would be going wild with spite but I'm above all that. I agree, the hopes you pinned on Wor Danny were false, I said it at the time, he can't be any better than he was at Swansea! On the positive, you have a home game next time against a team who are down there with you but you need to win it but if I'm honest, completely honest, Norwich may feel they need points too and with games running out, they may see you as the team to get those points from. Sorry Nazi but I have a gut feeling the best you'll get is a draw followed by 2 defeats, Oh dear!!!!

From JONNY, on Sat 9 Mar 19:26
  12. Life time Newcastle fan....I honestly hope both Sunderland and Newcastle stay up

  14. After last week, this was on the cards,as I said what the feck is MON doing with a midfielder at right back? The guy is getting skinned every week ! Bardsley needs games to get back to his best ! What did I tell you about the Geordie plank Graham, another £5m down the pan !!! We are in schtuck, he has to make changes or we are 4-ked !!! Have your laughs Toonies we deserve all we get !!
