Michael Laudrup's spell in charge of Swansea got off to a dream start with a 5-0 mauling of Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road. More
90+5' Full-time! Records fall all over the place as Swansea finally take three points at Loftus Road with their best-ever Premier League result in the process. Two for debutant Michu, two for Dyer and one for Sinclair, which could be his last for the club.
88' Diakite is replaced by Shaun Derry for the closing stages.
84' Graham chooses to head for the byline instead of cutting inside and it costs him a golden chance for six.
83' Standing ovation #2 from the away end as their other two-goal hero Michu is the final change of the afternoon for the Swans. Mark Gower is on for seven minutes.
81' SINCLAIR! FIVE! Awful clearance attempt by Onuoha allows Swansea to leisurely advance before the sub picks out the bottom corner from 20 yards. Who has this scoreline in their predictor?
78' Hughes follows up with his own second change, like for like up top as Cisse makes way for Andy Johnson, another debutant.
77' Two-goal Nathan Dyer is replaced by Scott Sinclair, who is expected to leave the club within the next week. Am I wrong in detecting some subtle psychology to that sub by Laudrup?
71' Agustien makes an instant impact - he sets up Dyer for his second and Swansea's fourth!
70' It's De Guzman coming off, who has had a decent debut and looks handy with a set play, Kemy Agustien replaces the ex-Villarreal now.
65' Swansea are dancing now. Absolutely dancing. Michu and Graham casually move into the Rs danger zone before the latter has a shot well stopped and held by Green.
64' Drastic reaction from Hughes, bringing off Hill for Shaun Wright-Phillips. Could be too late already.
63' Another Swansea break! ANOTHER SWANSEA GOAL! Dyer put clean through to sweep number three past Green!
62' Probert deems the handball a deliberate one and books Rangel. Regardless, the free-kick is cleared.
57' Now it's Fabio's turn to enter the book as he upends Britton. The home side cutting a very frustrated figure now.
54' Diakite is booked for bringing down Dyer near the right-hand corner of the box.
53' GOAL! Michu has another chance soon after as Swansea break away from a home flag kick and the Spaniard curls a first-time effort majestically beyond Green to cap a slick through pass by Routledge. What a debut!
47' Penalty shout inside the first minute or so! Great work by Hoilett out on the left before he goes to ground inside the box after a give-and-go with Taarabt. Looked like he was after the penalty decision against Rangel, however, and the referee is not impressed.
46' Second half up and running at Loftus Road.
45+2' Best move from Swansea so far comes at the very end of the first period and ends with Dyer's cross from the right being overcooked. There's the whistle and Michael Laudrup's men take a 1-0 lead into the break courtesy of debutant Michu.
45' Second Swansea corner and a second crossbar rattler! This time goalscorer Michu toe-pokes a chance onto the underside of the woodwork.
42' Rangers break and De Guzman takes the yellow in order to put a stop to it.
41' It's the Swan's first corner of the game. Chico header! Off the bar!
40' De Guzman will go for goal with this set piece... excellent looping strike parried superbly around the far post by Green!
23' The hosts retain possession and a deep delivery from the left by Fabio picks out Hoilett - who lobs the outrushing Vorm with his header only for it to bounce wide!
10' Big chance for a leveller! Williams' sliding clearance smacks off Mackie and falls for the winger with six yards from goal and only Vorm to beat - but it's a fantastic point blank stop from the Dutchman.
8' GOAL! Michu marks his debut with the opener! Hammers the loose ball low into the corner after a good run towards the box by Routledge is stopped by some strong defending. 0-1.
1' The home side get the first half underway. The new Premier League season is upon us!

Well done mr Laudrup Brilliant attacking style! Congratulations Swansea Michu ,Dyer and Sinclair.
Anton who you going to blame the ref,Maybe take him to court with your brother holding your hand. Just like when you was little ( cry baby ) you deserve to be playing in lower divison,so you can be the super star you think you are.Going down again
thats karma coming to bite u on ure #$%$ after the final game of last season QPR!!! hahahahaha
hahahaha lovely jubbly, so green still think you made a good decision do you, you'll be back in the championship this time next year. GOOD not really embittered am I GIT lol
before we get to carried away, its just 3pts, against an average team, but a grate start never the less, all we want now is another 50 and we can have another party, well done mr laudrup and his new signings they look good buys
TAFF comment 63.....spot on. To the highly educated merson, grow up and please advise us why you spent 3 minutes of your thoughts on the game, informing us why QPR failed and 10 seconds on praising Swansea. What you know about football, could be written on the back of a postage stamp!!!!!!!
QPR = Queue for Pay in Retirement Well done our WHU plant Flapper Green - doubled your money and laughing all the way to the bank I'm sure I saw you leaning against a goalpost blowing bubbles when two of the shots went it COYI
eat your words Taarabt'/;'/;'/;'/;'/;'/;'/ ;jack army
Congratulations agent Green your first assignment was successful
scott do you really want to go and warm man city,s bench, your a fool if you do
on sky sports last season merson stated that he could not see where Swansea were going to get another win, check what league they are in, he wouldn't praise Swansea if they won 3 titles in one season
Brendan Who ???
Anything M huges touches is doooomed, dooooomed i tell ya,well done SWANS,you could make some money telling Cardiff how to play, naa there beter off where they are more of a laugh with them down there.
hey Will its not over till the fat lady sings ...and my god are them some of them about!!
I was pretty optimistic before the match, considering the recent signings, but after watching the match it looks like we have made little progress. Its not that fact that we lost 5 nil, it was the way that QPR capitulated after the 2nd goal. After the 2nd goal you could almost see it in the players eyes that they had given up. I feel sorry for Fernades and Hughes, you can see they are really trying their best, its the players that are continually letting them down. I hope Hughes gave them a right rollicking afterwards. (no doubt Barton is laughing his #$%$ off !)
BRENDAN eat your heart out well done Swansea and Mr Laudrup.
swansen city is wiping the floor with them \m/ good going.
Funny that hughes you said you wanted to make QPR a hard team to beat and loftus road a fortress. You made it look more like a drive through. Norwich is going to be a interesting game. By 10 games if we do not have at least 15 points u could see hughes gone!
Also good to see Brendan 'Judas' Rogers fail at LiverPOO
