59' Gibson sends in a corner but Stoke can only clear as far as Pienaar. The Everton man picks out Jelavic who shoots at goal but Begovic gets down low to make the save.

52' Jones equalises for Stoke with a thumping header as he rises to meet Shawcross' long ball forward and find the bottom corner.
48' Whelan finds Adam unmarked at the far post with a free-kick into the box from deep. The Scot tries to get in a volley but miskicks and Howards make a desperate save to tip wide.

47' And there goes the whistle for half time. Everton on top and they will be pleased with their lead here at the Britannia but it could and should have been two for the away side.

33' Gibson's through ball takes a deflection off Whelan and falls to Jelavic who miskicks. Naismith is there and gets his shot on target but Shawcross is there to make an excellent goal-line clearance.
31' Whelan sends in the corner and Walters rises to knock it back to Nzonzi at the far post but he can only head straight at Howard. Should have done better there.

1' Stoke get this first half underway in their traditional red and white strip. Everton are in blue.

David Moyes should be headline news for giving Football a good name - his honest assessment of Fellani's behaviour
Blues slide down the table; fans in despondency; Everton's position in menace, and our prospect at stake. Blues real potential is higher than this but dread and insufficient self-confidence exact progress from us.
Record holders of draw attained what desired. Everton's serial of draws is boring us.
peter howe obviously didn't just watch the game, we bossed it, disappointed we didn't win it in the end. let's hope fuzzball is banned for 10 games + for a deliberate headbutt, elbow and then punch
stoke city aint to pretty
Stoke are easily the worst team in the League. Every game they enter is about NOT losing hence the defensive stance. Just awful, awful.
With their luck, if the FA C up goes to one of the top four then Everton have a very good chance of making the Europa League next season.
im first!!!
Everton were very fortunate last week and they're even more fortunate this week.
time after time Howard is at fault for us giving away needless goals, time he was replaced,I have no idea what goes through his head at times when he's between the sticks.
The Table dont lie Stoke ninth place
