Harry Redknapp's tenure as QPR manager started with a tepid goalless draw at Sunderland in the Premier League. More
90+4 That's the whistle, a goalless draw and the boos ring out from the home fans. Redknapp's reign starts with a shut-out, only their second this season. A start.
90+1 Excellent cross from McClean and little Sessegnon flies in, great leap, but it skims off his head and away!
88' Mackie to Cisse, nice flick to Granero, he plays in Wright-Phillips who turns and fires in the shot but saved easily by Mignolet, who was well placed.
81' Finally Mackie is booked for chopping down Rose.
77' Fletcher tries to turn Nelsen but the Kiwi blocks it for a throw. QPR take Taarabt off for Wright-Phillips.
75' Dangerous cross from Rose across the face of goal, but no-one even made a run for the edge of the six-yard box. Poor, from Fletcher in particular who is supposed to operate there. Not like QPR had a high line or anything.
70' Johnson picks it up on the right but he fails to deliver a cross. He's had a poor game. And that's the end of it - he is taken off for McClean.
68' Taarabt puts the corner in but Sunderland can clear. Sessegnon runs it away, now Johnson to Fletcher but Rose looks backwards to Larsson, who gives it away. Now Colback is on it and he skips away from Hill, who hacks him down on the edge of the box!
65' QPR SUB: Park replaces Diakite.
64' WHAT A SAVE BY GREEN! Superb save to keep out Fletcher's bullet header from Larsson's corner! One-handed and he somehow grabs the loose ball!
61' Yellow card to Gardner for obstructing Traore after he knocked the ball past him.
57' Gardner with a low cross that causes all kinds of problems but a brave Green dives in at the feet of Fletcher to punch clear, getting a boot in the head.
55' Diakite is booked for his fourth foul, according to the ref, clumsy into the back of Rose.
51' Very late by Cuellar on Traore and the Spaniard is booked. Hefty challenge.
46' The second half is underway.
46' QPR SUB: Cesar has suffered a groin problem, so the former Brazil no1 is replaced by the former England no1.
45+1 Half-time and it's goalless. Not the greatest game.
40' GREAT SAVE CESAR! Fletcher got through from the left after a nice ball in from Johnson, but the Brazilian batted it away at the near post.
37' Somehow QPR fail to score as Mackie is sent clean through, Mignolet saving at his feet and Taarabt twice blocked by defenders as he tried to finish with the loose ball!
17' This time Johnson sends in a very good ball, Cuellar rising highest and his header is tipped over by Cesar! Corner.
12' Good save Mignolet! A low finish from Cisse aimed for the bottom right, from the edge of the box, after a nice lay-off by Granero. QPR Corner.
7' SUNDERLAND SUB: Colback replaces Cattermole, who walks off unaided but clearly has a knee problem.
6' Oh dear. Cattermole did well to return from a knee injury and, after a 50-50 tackle with M'Bia earlier, he is struggling and will come off.
1' The first half is underway!
19:40 Those nuggets from our pals at Opta hardly bode for a cracking match do they? @ahmaddana1 thinks "it will be a 1-1 draw, Cisse and Fletcher the goal scorers". What do you reckon? Let me know on Twitter @Reda_Eurosport. FOLLOW ON TWITTER!
19:25 What do you predict? Is 'Arry the right man for the job? Should O'Neill quit Sunderland? Let me know on Twitter @Reda_Eurosport. FOLLOW ON TWITTER!

Darin, its you who's the idiot, I wasnt sat at home at all, I was at the match supporting my team, among the 36,500 others, !!! ( not 16,000 as you stated),its you whos laughable,by the way I gave my opinion on the match and the players not "re the toon !!! what planet are you on son,!!
That confims it,some of my queens friends have had enough and are off to support fulham. They may play second fiddle to Chelsea in West London, but at least they have a go at playing, unlike this netball team.Oh Harry, you really have blotted your c.v. this time,I know its a wage packet but come on,you can do so much better.
By the way, we are only one point POORER than POOR NUFC !!!!
SMB, always moaning.
Well, looks like we have got a fight on our hands, and its not to get into Europe !!! We are a poor team, poor quality, poor tactics,we play poor football , Cattermole (poor going forward) gets injured, who have we to bring on , Ginger Jack, poor lad tries his best, just as bad going forward, what a poor quality outfit we are !! Johnson a revelation a few years ago is poor, MON get things sorted FFS !!! WE ARE POOR !!!!!!!
QPR fans that was better than a loss, Harry will sort you out he's the best.
I notice the difference between the expert? performance for both teams and the fans ratings. Fans rule OK!
What a load of rubbish, league 1 standard,Redknapp the new messiah?, you are having a laugh.Down we go.
you can hve BOTHROYD back
what did i tell you 0-0 as predicted. that wasn't rain falling, that was the soccer gods tears falling for what passed for football being played today. between qpr vs sunderland and reading vs aston villa, BOTH playing each other on the same day, it was just to much to bear. tomorrow can't get here soon enough.
never beat lucky Harry so why should we start now!
Typical relegation battle but QPR did come out the other end of it the better side and the more likely to get out of it. I can see them improving under Redknapp and I can see Sunderland continue their demise under MON!!
Don't know what you lot where watching but both teams played there hearts out!! QPR probably the first time i have seen the whole team play till the end and a defence that looks sturdy!! Well played QPR need to gets some goals against AV
Am jux luvin' è game
