90+7' FULL TIME. First-half goals from Bale and Lennon see Spurs beat Arsenal 2-1 to go seven clear of their big rivals. Arsenal responded through Mertesacker but paid for some poor defending on derby day.
90+7' Spurs run the clock down as William Gallas comes on for Lennon...
90+6' Wilshere draws a foul in the Spurs half and Walker is booked. One last chance...
89' Walcott goes for the shot but curls his effort just wide of the post. Lloris was over quickly and might have saved it.
88' Spurs with the change as Jake Livermore comes on to replace Dembele. The midfielder was up and walking though, which is encouraging.
85' Poor from Giroud as he fires a shot high, high into the stands at White Hart Lane after the ball bounces up for him on the turn, 20 yards from goal.
80' BIG CHANCE FOR ARSENAL! Ramsey finds acres of space on the right and comes into the box, only to se his shot deflect just inches wide of the post.
77' A change for Arsenal as Arteta is replaced by Podolski. The visitors going for it now.
74' CHANCE FOR SPURS! The ball pops up for Bale in the box and he unleashes a ferocious effort that bounces into the torso of Szczesny. The keeper was lucky it came straight to him.
71' Arsenal opened up again as Parker comes forward and plays a square pass for Defoe, who drags his shot narrowly wide of the far post. The visiting defence is all over the place.
70' HUGE MISS FOR SPURS! The Arsenal defence opens up again. Lennon comes in from the right and spots Sigurdsson all alone on the left, away from Ramsey. Sigurdsson gets past Szczesny but tries to cross and sees his ball cut out by Mertesacker. He should have gone for the shot.
67' Adebayor is taken off on a stretcher after a poor performance. He landed awkwardly following an aerial challenge. Defoe on in his place.
65' We have a flare-up. Arsenal don't stop play with Adebayor down - why would they, it's up to the ref? - and Spurs are angry. They have a word with Clattenburg before Vermaelen comes over and starts shoving Dawson. Handbags ensue.
60' A change for Arsenal as Jenkinson is replaced by Tomas Rosicky. That means Ramsey will drop in at right-back.
59' BIG MISS FOR SPURS! Dembele pops the ball wide for Sigurdsson and when the cross finds Bale at the back post he turns it high over the bar with his instep!
54' BIG CHANCE FOR ARSENAL! Jenkinson comes forward and plays in a dangerous cross but Lloris holds onto the ball, just about, under pressure from Wilshere and Giroud.
51' GOAL! Tottenham 2-1 Arsenal! Well done Ramsey, as from the Walcott delivery, Mertesacker gets in front of Bale to divert the ball against the Spurs man and in. An own goal.
46' KICK OFF! No changes from either side.

45+3' HALF TIME. Two terrible moments from the Arsenal defence leave their hold on Champions League football looking more tenuous than ever. Bale and Lennon profit.
45+2' Arteta into the book for an untidy challenge by the touchline.
39' GOAL! Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal! A carbon copy, almost. Cazorla is down hurt but Spurs continue and Parker plays in a nice ball for Lennon, who darts in to round Szczesny and tuck the ball home.
37' GOAL! Tottenham 1-0 Arsenal! It's Bale with his 10th goal in eigth games! Mertesacker is playing him on as Sigurdsson squirts a nice pass through and Bale takes it superbly, coming around the ball to prod it past the stranded Szczesny.
30' And a yellow card for Ramsey now as he drags Lennon to ground from behind as the winger tries to accelerate away.
29' Vertonghen joins Adebayor in the book for a clumsy trip on Giroud, who was turning away from him into space some 45 yards from goal.
28' Bale's corner is poor but when the ball is cleared to Assou-Ekotto his piledriver appears to be blocked by the arm of Mertesacker. No free-kick though, and as a the ball bounces around, Adebayor goes to ground softly.
19' Adebayor is in trouble once again after his red card at Emirates Stadium earlier in the season. He goes in late on Ramsey and catches the midfielder's leg. Our first booking.
10' BIG CHANCE FOR ARSENAL! Giroud controls the ball beautifully following a chipped pass from Arteta and has the goal in front of him, but his hesitancy and decision to produce a controlled finish allow Vertonghen time to recover and slide in to block.
7' Arsenal win a corner when they shouldn't - Dawson's header from a Jenkinson cross coming off Walcott - and Giroud directs his header at Lloris for the first chance of the game.
1' KICK OFF! Tottenham attacking right to left in their home kit, Arsenal decked out in bright red.

go Arsenal!!!!!!!!!!!
Arsene Wenger u find 1 translater from Malaysia to read my comments...Beli seorang penjaga gol yg terbaik,Casilas dari real madrid pun boleh untuk tempoh 3-4 tahun.
I'm a Arsenal fun...i hope that Arsene Wenger will buy a new players after this.Buy 2 defender and 1 world standart striker can save arsenal.Trust me Arsene Wenger,Arsenal can win all best club in the wolrd if you buy some players after this...Arsenal can!!!
Every match loosing why ? Make sure you prepair yourself fuly, before you enter to the pitch..... Am very woried abo0ut arsenal.....what is da use of gouru and podosky at da striking point?????.and yet time goes? Am sure we are not going any futher ,be serious mr.wenger ......
Well done Spurs Gooners catch us if you can
I'm really happy with AVB. The whole attitude and spirit at the club has changed. The heavy pressurised atmosphere that has always surrounded White Hart Lane is starting to lift and the bond between coaching staff and players is clear for all to see :)
As a Spurs supporter, I do respect Arsenal but I can't help but think that Wenger is well past his sell by date. The club may have 123 million in the bank but I don't think the average Arsenal supporter cares about it that much. The Arsenal fans want to see their club win and that ain't happening and has happened in the past 8 years. If Wenger was the manager of any other club in the Prem, he would have been given the elbow years ago. I'm told he's a good businessman which is all well and good but as a manager of a top club, he's utterly useless. He's no Alex Ferguson that's for sure. As for AVB, I'm still not convinced. He simply took over from the great work Harry did for the club.
Tottenham Hotspur = Holtby ! Arsenal = Mertesacker + Podolski !!
to loose is not the issue but the manner of which u loose. instead of saying we were too unlucky to loose we have come to the point that we deserved to loose. we lack leadership. remember viera fighting with lauren in the team bus because of slack defense. noone wants to say i'm a gunner and will die fighting for my squad. there are players in division one who could'v shown more team pride. this is not some fly by night team. people this is the gunners. players need to know that. bale sticks with spurs despite outside interests but we can't keep hleb, song, flamini, bentner, cesc, nasri, adebayor, rvp. wenger has done a good job but the man incharge of contracts has been left wanting
Howway Tottenham we gonna win this league ano we will garage bale was amazing today love his beautiful goal
When is St.Gooneringham's day? Must be soon surely?
well done Spurs but as always far to early to celebrate............look at remaining fixtures.....still plenty to do.......i think top 5 will be as present.....COYS!
338 Charlie-you are definately a right one & well named-Arsene Wenger has done more for Arsenal than any maMnager in history- he does not have the resources to compete with the best (Manu) or the wealthy City/Chelsea, Mourhino to Arsenal? you talk rubbish he only goes where success and money is guaranteed not Arsenal.
I think that is settled- the top 3 will be Manu- Man City & Spurs in that order, Chelsea robbed Spurs last season in the CL so it would be justice if they finished 5th Arsenal still have a good chance of 4th spot, they are capable of winning their next 6 PL games, in the same period Chelsea have to play Spurs & travel to Liverpool so I think after 34 games Arsenal will be a point ahead in 4th place, Chelsea then have to visit Old Trafford so the way I see it Arsenal have all to play for and Chelsea will not qualify for CL. finishing no better than 5th with Everton & Liverpool still capable of catching them.
Please sell Ade in the summer! COYS!!
ajay s you talk nonsense, Benitez has already lost to City , Newcastle and Q.P.R. this year.
Arsenal can not win Tot. How Arsenal is going to win Bayer in Champ Lea. bye bye Arsenal. this is not a good club no more. this is so shameful. No chance of winning Champ Lea this week.
Gotta hand it to Wenger. Lose to Bradford, Bayern, Blackburn, Spurs & he still keeps his job. The guys amazing. If a Chelsea manager did that he would be on the dole in hours.
A couple of mistakes cost Arsenal dearly. I thought both teams played badly with Spurs capitalising on defensive errors. Giroud was terrible, worst I've seen him play and he runs like a speed walker. Wilshere had a rare off game and Ramsey ran his socks off with little end produce. Still, based on this season we are up 6-4
