82' Spurs sub: Dempsey off for Sigurdsson.

74' Walker plays it in and Dempsey misses a sitter three yards out! Any meaningful contact and that was a goal.

70' Bale crosses in and it hits Clark looked like a clear hand ball and a penalty. Lucky.
67' Spurs sub: Adebayor on for Defoe.
66' GOAL Spurs! Lennon cuts in from the right and drills a shot into the far corner. Great goal.
65' Villa sub: Bent and N’Zogbia for Albrighton and Delph.

60' Defoe finds space in the box to shoot and he blazes over.
57' GOAL Tottenham! And it’s birthday boy Jermaine Defoe who sweeps it in direct from the corner. It took a slight deflection of Caulker’s heel.
56' Lennon brought down by El Ahmadi who goes into the book.
55' Sandro sets up Defoe and he runs at the defence before shooting just wide of the post with Guzan beaten. So close!

28' Holman tries to find Benteke but he’s caught offside.
25' Dembele brought down. Delph booked.
20' Another good run from Vertonghen but he can’t quite pick out Dempsey. Shot from Benteke punched away by Lloris, his first save.
10' Great little run from Dempsey. He sets up Defoe but his shot is easily saved. Bale looked to have dived and should have been given a yellow for trying to con the referee.
6' Bale whips it in and Vertonghen just fails to get on the end of it. Another close shave for Villa.
2' What a chance for Spurs! Vertonghen whips a ball into Defoe in the middle and he puts it over from a couple of yards out. He was just offside though although he wouldn’t have known it.

I think Lloris only played as it will give him a fair chance of being picked for the French team, as it is international week and Friedel has retired from international football. I also think that Defoe is trying too hard for his 200th goal, and Adebayor will play up front against chelski.

Thanks for the essay, Marley. It's really got to you hasn't it!
Keep poppin the pills Marley !
From an Arsenal fan, Tottenham are looking a stronger, better and dangerous team now. In all fairness i like the way these guys play and handle pressure. I wish they could hold up like that and not lose focus, then they can go far. Go AMAHOTHOT, i'd like to see how they play against us(Arsenal). Trully speaking, you're playing good, enjoyable football at the moment, and make me enjoy watching you guys play.
the only thing decent on this post is the avatar of podolski on the streaming guys messages. what a load of dross this avb is banging out.
I do feel a bit for Friedel but Lloris is a far superior keeper and today was our first Premier League clean sheet, in Lloris's first game.
quit dribbling over this shower of shlte. this is the worst ive seen villa for ten years and the united result was no more than a freak first half from the yidiots and utter dross defending by united. uncle sam says they should get ba for the 7 million get out clause. lol thats in case the big boys come calling, not this bunch of no hopers. tottenham will end up nowhere as usual so he aint coming for sure. just like last season they get a couple of wins and then think they will win the league and sign messi and ronaldo in the summer. usual dross from the usual suspects...lmfao.
far to easy avb has got the tiking
Not sure bout all the fuss bout the goalkeeping situation I think u can rotate them both it seems to work for ferguson at the mo . We have got the strongest goal keepers in Europe !
friedel all smiles despite being dropped. a rare footballer who thinks about the team ahead of himself.
I fear for villa . Lambert not helpin his own cause leavin bent on the bench got a feelin it's personal between them. Dunno what's worse stickin with lambert or bringing in mick McCarthy ! At least they might have some fight bout them .
.Watch the game with me.
Defoe only scores against lower ranked teams. Time to get Demba Ba in the January transfer window i think. 7million clause in his contract.
comme on spurs glory glory tottenham hotspurs
Thats better, hopefully the floodgates will open now and we'll win comfortably and be where we belong, in the top four.
that has to be the worst villa side in decades
at last, now lets hope the flood-gates open and we keep scoring
what a terrible first half are you sure tottenham are at home ?
