    Tottenham's frustrating start to the season continued when they were held to an entertaining 1-1 draw by West Brom at White Hart Lane. More

    • 90+4' The final whistle blows and there are more than few boos which greet it from the home crowd. West Brom fans will return home feeling that justice was done and they would be right - a thoroughly entertaining game deserved to end in a draw.
    • 90+2' There was a certain inevitability about that goal given the way Spurs' defence looked so rattled in the preceding minutes.
    • 90+1' GOAL!! WEST BROM LEVEL!! Spurs panic as West Brom throw everything forward. William Gallas heads off the line but the ball eventually comes back to Morrison, who sidefoots a cool finish well out of Friedel's reach!

  17. I don't get it: first we were 1-0 up via Defoe, and­ this came up on the scorebaord. Another Defoe shot was­ ruled offside. Then Assou scores a 2nd, but it's­ still 1-0 and we still need a 2nd goal?!? Then Morrison­ and somebody head it against the bar, but it's not­ a goal, then it comes up as 1-1 then it's a draw­ after ages of injury time?! Pathetic anyway - how many­ more years (since Berbatov left) do we have to wait for­ a proper STRIKER when it's been obvious for years­ that's what we need, and a DEFENCE that does not­ panic under pressure. Back to the bad old days with a­ clot for a Manager! AGH
