    • 90+6' FULL TIME: Arsenal win! A win from behind at tricky opponents, and a performance which showed plenty of character. This the sort of the game the Gunners have lost in previous seasons, but a first goal for Giroud, and second-half stunners from Walcott and Cazorla ensured they didn't.
    • 90+5' West Ham go forward in search of a consolation - Taylor crosses from deep to the far post, but Carroll frustrated.
    • 90+4' Ramsey runs the ball into the corner, frustrating Reid. Was that time-wasting from the Gunners?
    • 90+3' Cazorla has a shy at goal - this time blocked by Tomkins.
    • 90+2' Ramsey drives forward as space begins to open for Arsenal - but Jenkinson makes a hash of the cross.
    • 90+1' GIROUD CLOSE! Lovely angled ball from Cazorla - superb vision - Giroud could have capped it off with a placed finish, but Jaaskelainen smothers.
    • 90' Five minutes of added time revealed as Jenkinson lines up a corner.
    • 89' TAYLOR CLOSE! Fabulous hit, almost as good as Cazorla's. From the near post it's creeping in, but Mannone had less of his goal to cover and made the stop.
    • 88' Corner for the Hammers - Noble over to whip it in.
    • 87' West Ham set up well to cope with Arsenal - and if they were playing the Arsenal of a season or two again, they might well have taken the points today.
    • 86' As it stands, this result will lift Arsenal to fifth in the table, with just one defeat in their first seven games.
    • 85' This could be the first time Arsenal have ever come from behind to beat West Ham at Upton Park in a PL match (at the fifth attempt). (Infostrada)
    • 84' That may have settled the game. Both Cazorla's Premier League goals for the Gunners so far look set to come in away wins.
    • 83' CAZORLA! WHAT A GOAL! Fantastic shot from distance on his left foot, crashing it from the left side of goal into the far corner. Jaaskelainen stranded.
    • 82' Diame off, Cole on as West Ham look for a leveller. Diame the stand-out man for West Ham this evening.
    • 81' Mertesacker close with an effort from outside the area - the touch from Tomkins just took it wide.
    • 80' Walcott wins a corner after a chipped cross-come-shot is deflected out. Definite chants of 'Theo, Theo' from the Arsenal travelling support.
    • 79' NOLAN SHOULD DO BETTER! Great chance to level, and with Nolan free to hit a left-footed effort from just inside the area, he lifts it over the bar. Chance spurned.
    • 78' Yellow to Walcott for his celebration, which seems to be a theme of the day for Phil Dowd.
    • 77' GOAL! WALCOTT PUTS ARSENAL AHEAD! Quick counter-attack, led by Giroud - he plays the killer through ball to the winger, who shows real composure to tuck the finish low into the near post.
    • 76' Great work from Diame - flicks the ball over Arteta to get a West Ham move going. Nobody there in the penalty area...
    • 75' Left-footed volley from Podolski on the edge of the area - really well hit, but straight into Tomkins, and out for a corner.
    • 74' Wenger looks far from happy on the touchline. He's even resorted to doing the AVB crouch. Arsenal pushing forward, however.
    • 73' Cazorla's corners have not been especially dangerous, but this time Reid heads the ball back his way and Cazorla shows his class by turning the New Zealander inside and out.
    • 72' PODOLSKI CLOSE! Should he have scored? Moments after Ramsey is clipped just outside the area Podolski gets a low shot away that almost squirms through Jaaskelainen's hands.
    • 71' News on Vaz Te - he appears to have dislocated his shoulder in that incident with Mannone.
    • 70' Demel down for West Ham, Mertesacker limping.
    • 69' NOLAN SHOULD SCORE! He somehow emerged in acres of space, not offside, on the right. He had too much time, and wanted even more! Waited to turn past Mertesacker, and ended up being blocked by the German.
    • 68' Arsenal have gone on to lose only one of their last 11 Premier League away London derby matches that have been 1-1 at half time. It was 2-1 at QPR last season. (Infostrada)
    • 67' Cazorla shimmies past Collins and has a chance with a shot from distance, but it's beyond the far post.
    • 66' CARROLL CLOSE! Beat Mannone to a high ball, and all it needed was for his header to be on target. It wasn't - it flashed wide instead. Big chance having bested the keeper.
    • 65' GIROUD CLOSE! Walcott in the way of the original shot from outside the area by Cazorla, but responds by backheeling the ball into a dangerous area. Giroud nearly on hand to finish, but from a narrrow angle finds the side netting.
    • 65' Omen? Arsenal have only won two of their last nine Premier League away matches in which Theo Walcott has come on as a substitute. (Infostrada)
    • 64' Taylor goes down in a challenge with Vermaelen - nothing doing with the penalty appeal.
    • 63' We're back in action - expect there to be a good few minutes of added time at the end of this one.
    • 62' Bit of a pause in play here - looks like Taylor will be replacing Vaz Te - looks as if he's seriously hurt his arm.
    • 61' Theo Walcott replaces Gervinho while treatment continues on Vaz Te and Mannone.
    • 60' Vaz Te and Mannone collide in a one-on-one. Mannone gets to the ball, but he got a knee to his head for his troubles. Entirely accidental.
    • 59' Driving run from Demel, beating Santos with ease and Arsenal have to thwack the ball out of play before any trouble. Ball thrown into the middle and Noble lashes it over the top.
    • 58' Arsenal have conceded one Premier League second half goal so far this season. West Ham have scored once in the second half and that was in the final minute of their last home match. (Infostrada)
    • 57' Gibbs off - Santos takes his place. Looks like a thigh problem for the full-back.
    • 56' Arteta stands over a deep free kick after Gibbs took a nasty knock.
    • 55' Lovely footwork from Diame to play in Noble - how he found the room is anyone's guess - but Noble, unfortunately for him, had strayed offside.
    • 54' Snappy break from the Gunners, but after Podolski plays in Gibbs, the left-back's cross is a terrible one, floated high into the evening sky and out for a goal kick.
    • 53' Noble stands the ball up towards Carroll - everything seems to gravitate his way - but this time Arsenal deal with it.
    • 52' Vaz Te gets a good deep cross in having held off Jenkinson on the byline. Under pressure from Carroll, Arsenal concede the corner.
    • 51' Errant pass from Podolski gives Demel a throw at halfway. West Ham taking their time to settle, just as they did in the first half.
    • 50' All Arsenal in these early second-half exchanges, but just as was the case in the first half, not much in the way of a threat on goal.
    • 49' Carroll punished for clipping Podolski's heels as the German tries to get down the left.
    • 48' Giroud tries something between a cross and a shot - sails wide of goal, and well out of Ramsey's reach as well.
    • 47' "Arsenal will win if they keep focus and if the coach does not make silly changes" says Adeolu - while Sveatoslav reckons "with Arshavin coming in 2nd Half they can beat anyone!" Follow here
    • 46' West Ham begin the second half. A lot of bubbles in the air after West Ham's half-time fun.
    • - "With Walcott coming in the 2nd half I think Arsenal can win it. 2-3 Arsenal" - that's Amex9423's prediction on Twitter. What's yours?
    • - What did you make of the first half? How do you see this one turning out? Have your say by tweeting me @Mark_Eurosport FOLLOW HERE
    • 45+3' HALF TIME: Diame's sublime goal put West Ham in front, but Giroud broke his Premier League duck to level. All to play for in the second half.
    • 45+2' NOLAN SHOULD SCORE! Carroll seems to get up ahead of about three Arsenal defenders, nods down to Nolan, whose first touch takes the ball across goal rather than on target. Point-blank range, and the chance has gone.
    • 45+1' Gervinho clatters Noble with a lunging, desperate tackle. It's no surprise when he goes into the book for a yellow card.
    • 45' Cazorla whips in another corner, but West Ham have dealt with all the set pieces very well in this half. Two added minutes to play.
    • 44' Olivier Giroud scored his first Premier League goal in his seventh Premier League match – ending a run of five hours and six minutes without a goal in the division. (Infostrada)
    • 43' Cazorla's corner cleared out only as far as Jenkinso. Arsenal try to rebuild, and win a throw down by the right hand corner.
    • 42' First meaningful chance from Arsenal since they went behind, and they've levelled. They've shown resilience against the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City this season - can they repeat the trick today?
    • 41' ARSENAL LEVEL! GIROUD! It's Podolski who provides the assist, a low, devilish cross which Giroud meets on the volley. I'm sure everyone was insisting Giroud was terrible not that long ago - that's a sublime first-time finish.
    • 39' Diame tries a flick forward, Carroll has to leave it alone or the referee will call for offside. Arsenal move on.
    • 38' McCartney with a throw deep from the left after another Arsenal move breaks down. Plenty of possession for the Gunners, not much in the way of shots.
    • 37' On the four previous occasions West Ham have opening the scoring at Upton Park against Arsenal in the Premier League era they have gone on to win twice and draw twice. (Infostrada)
    • 36' Wenger looking frustrated on the sidelines. There's still time for his side to fix this. Winston Reid picks up a yellow from Dowd for bodychecking Cazorla.
    • 35' Just as West Ham look to clear, Ramsey wins the ball back for the Gunners. Arteta, Cazorla link up again, and a cross into the middle only just beyond Giroud.
    • 34' Arteta and Cazorla link again - Cazorla jinks this way and that before picking out Gibbs, who is ushered off the ball by Demel at the expense of a corner.
    • 33' Podolski makes a well-judged tackle on Carroll as the striker charges through the middle of the field. Well done from the German - it looked like the other Arsenal men nearby were standing off.
    • 32' In a move moments later Carroll and Mannone clash going for a cross - Mannone, perhaps unsurprisingly, comes off worse.
    • 32' CARROLL! SHOULD DO BETTER! Nobody picked him up at the back post, so he had time to jump and place his header. In the end Mannone can catch the ball. A warning for Arsenal.
    • 31' Demel finds himself up against Podolski near the corner flag, and wins the Hammers a corner - Noble trudges over to take it.
    • 30' Giroud picks out Gervinho in a pacy Arsenal move, but the Ivorian was well offside, and couldn't check his run in time.
    • 29' Only once in Premier League history have Arsenal come from behind to beat West Ham – a 2-1 victory at Highbury in May 2000. (Infostrada)
    • 28' No card - a bit of a lifeline for Diame - he might well have got a booking had he not already recevied one for the celebration...
    • 27' Arteta hurt in a challenge by Diame - and there's a hush around Upton Park as the referee approaches him...
    • 26' Arsenal dominating the possession so far - 71% to 29% - it's not helping them on the scoresheet.
    • 25' Fizzing shot from Ramsey from the best part of 30 yeards - no shortage of pace on it, but started a touch wide and swerved wider.
    • 24' Arsenal have conceded in the first half in each of their last three Premier League matches, having previously kept three clean sheets in a row. (Infostrada)
    • 23' As it stands, the Hammers would end the day fifth, while Arsenal would remain in eighth place.
    • 22' Oh dear - needless yellow for Diame for the celebration. It was his first goal for the Hammers.
    • 21' GOAL! WEST HAM LEAD! LOVELY STUFF FROM DIAME! Rounding off a team move, he cuts through into the area past Ramsey, and when everyone was expecting a cutback into the middle, he curls it around Mannone!
    • 20' Brave from Demel - controls an Arsenal cross in his own penalty area rather than clearing immediately. But it pays off and gets West Ham on their way....
    • 19' A word of praise for Carroll the defender there - he got to the loose ball just before Podolski, then blocked the shot from Giroud. Great work rate from the striker.
    • 18' GIROUD CLOSE! Cazorla gets another chance with a second straight corner, Podolski almost gets to the loose ball - Giroud does get it further back, and Carroll puts his body in the way to deny him. His effort from the edge of the area looked goalbound.
    • 17' Giroud displays a lovely touch to skip down the left wing - Cazorla and Arteta go for the ball on the edge of the area but they both knock each other off it. Jenkinson wins a corner by driving down the right.
    • 16' No - he dinks it into the area, but not very effectively, and Arsenal break down the left with Gervinho. Plenty of Arsenal colleagues surge forward, but he can't pick one out in the box.
    • 15' Noble looks to take this one - he almost looks as if he's shaping up for a shot...
    • 14' Carroll chopped down by Arteta, and the striker is just starting to make his presence felt here. Free kick 35 yards out.
    • 13' Carroll controls and chests a long ball, but runs out of options and is tackled.
    • 12' Jenkinson has really grown as a defender in the last few weeks - here he eases Diame off the ball to shut down a West Ham move.
    • 11' Ramsey does some lovely work on the left wing, standing up the perfect cross to the far post - but the two men in the box were waiting at the near post.
    • 10' Podolski, sat quite deep, tries to get the play going. He's operating on the left in theory, with Giroud the target man.
    • 9' Giroud left a bit stranded trying to bring the ball down in the corner of the West Ham box. Hammers just warming up a bit now, looking surer.
    • 8' West Ham manager Sam Allardyce has won four career home matches against Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal. This is the most of any English manager against him, and in total only Sir Alex Ferguson (9) has won more Premier League home matches against Wenger. (Infostrada)
    • 7' Good composure from Jenkinson to sweep up after West Ham threatened to break with Jarvis and Vaz Te.
    • 6' Arsenal have not lost in their last eight Premier League matches with West Ham. A different proposition today, however - Cazorla wins a corner after his shot from distance deflected by Reid.
    • 5' Nolan cuts short a Cazorla move, gets West Ham on the attack, and Ramsey forced to bring down Carroll. Free kick for the hosts just inside their own half.
    • 4' West Ham chasing shadows at the moment. Arsenal being patient. Cazorla and Arteta in particular linking well.
    • 3' Arsenal starting brightly, and West Ham a little slow to get going. The visitors stroking the ball around with trademark assurance.
    • 2' SHOT FROM GIROUD! Didn't look like much from the edge of the area after the ball broke his way, but Jaaskelainen had to tip it around the post, and the Gunners have a corner.
    • 1' Arsenal kick us off!
    • 17:28 A nice touch before the game - a minute's applause for John Bond, who died at the age of 79 last week.
    • 17:25 So how do you seen this one going? Is this one of those afternoons where Arsenal's limitations are exposed on the road by an uncompromising West Ham - or are the Gunners still going to take this one out. Have your say by tweeting me @Mark_Eurosport FOLLOW HERE
    • 17:20 Andy Carroll had some interesting things to say in a pre-match interview with ESPN. The West Ham striker, on loan from Liverpool, accused Brendan Rodgers of not giving him a chance. Which, I suppose, is undeniably true. Carroll points finger at Liverpool
    • 17:15 Jack Wilshere returned to action this week with a run-out in the Arsenal Under-21 side - however Arsene Wenger has warned fans and the media not to go "crazy" over the midfielder who has been out for 14 months. Wenger urges caution over Wilshere
    • 17:10 Arsene Wenger has this week outlawed handshakes at the Arsenal's London Colney training ground. Four members of the first-team squad have been suffering from a virus and Wenger is looking to control the outbreak. Arsenal ban handshakes
    • 17:05 Another stat from Opta: West Ham scored the most goals from set plays in the 2011-12 Championship, while the last three league goals Arsenal have conceded have come from dead ball situations.
    • 17:00 Stat from Opta: Arsene Wenger has won just two of his nine away games as a coach in Premier League head to head meetings with Sam Allardyce (W2 D3 L4), the first one v Bolton in April 2002 and the last one v Blackburn in August 2010.
    • 16:55 Some headlines from the 3pm kick-offs: Chelsea have gone four points clear at the top with a superb performance in beating Norwich 4-1. Juan Mata and Oscar were particularly brilliant. Everton slip to third after drawing 2-2 at Wigan, with Man City beating Sunderland in the early game. Premier League scores and scorers
    • 16:50 Andy Carroll returns for West Ham, for whom a draw or better will keep them in front of Arsenal in the table. Per Mertesacker is back for Arsenal, and he displaces Laurent Koscielny, who can probably consider himself a but unlucky to be back on the bench.
    • 16:45 TEAMS: WEST HAM: Jaaskelainen, Demel, McCartney, Reid, Collins, Noble, Nolan, Diame, Vaz Te, Jarvis, Carroll... SUBS: Henderson, Tomkins, Cole, Maiga, Taylor, Benayoun, O'Neil. ARSENAL: Mannone, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Ramsey, Arteta, Gervinho, Cazorla, Podolski, Giroud... SUBS: Martinez, Koscielny, Santos, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Coquelin, Arshavin.

  4. Why does Wenger pesist with Ramsey. He is not up to the Arsenal standard. Andre Santos will be better suited for that role than Ramsey. He is slow, cannot tackle and will not head the ball and just breaks down counter attacks by turning in circles with the ball. Also Gervinho is hopeless away from home.
