    • FT And there is the final whistle!!! Celtic will face Kilmarnock in the Scottish League Cup final on March 18. A brave effort from Falkirk but not quite enough. Thanks for joining us.
    • 90+3 Higginbotham actually picks up a late knock and 16-year-old Craig Sibbald comes on.
    • 90+2 Falkirk's Kallum Higginbotham has been named the man of the match.
    • 90+1 Ki has a chance to put in Forrest but puts too much on the pass.
    • 90' There will be three extra minutes.
    • 89' Great chance for Kris Commons as he has a chance to lob the keeper but he hits it well over.
    • 88' Surely the win is save for Celtic now – they will face Kilmarnock back in Hampden on March 18.
    • 87' Stokes comes off for Kris Commons
    • 86' GOAL FOR CELTIC!!! Stokes has tapped in from close range. Great turn from Hooper on the edge of the area, runs forward and then cuts back for Stokes to score his 17th goal of the season which puts him one goal ahead of Hooper in the Celtic goalscoring charts.
    • 84' Weatherston, breaks clear, cuts it back and Matthews just belts it away - that could have gone anywhere.
    • 83' Well he gets a shot on target but McGovern was watching that all the way.
    • 82' Falkirk unhappy as Celtic are awarded a free-kick about 40 yards out. Too far out for Mulgrew?
    • 80' Celtic have a corner at the other end, and they will be glad of that because they have been forced to do some defending.
    • 79' DOUBLE SAVE FROM FORSTER!! Great corner from Millar and Celtic don't deal with Dods then swings a boot at it and Forster saves with his legs before then been asked to make a second save from Murdoch.
    • 78' Higginbotham back on pitch and earns a corner straight away.
    • 77' Great delivery from the resulting free-kick but Celtic deal with it.
    • 77' Wanyama with a high foot catches Higginbotham in the face. Lucky to escape without a booking. Higginbotham in a bit of pain.
    • 75' Ball falls kindly for Blair Alston in an attacking position but he is quickly crowded out
    • 74' Good defending from Dods to deal with a little ball chipped in over the Falkirk defence.
    • 73' Forrest tries to get a spell of one-touch football going but just ends up giving the ball away.
    • 72' Duffie found free down the right and has men in the box but he messes up the cross that goes wide and over.
    • 71' Stokes has an effort blocked by Millar as Falkirk survive a mini-spell of pressure.
    • 69' Falkirk now have a corner – they are certainly back into this.
    • 68' Adam Matthews coming on for Celtic with Cha making way.
    • 67' Higginbotham sneaks close to the six-yard box but Brown manages to clear. Falkirk growing in confidence again though.
    • 66' Duffie storms into the box, falls over, and manages to find Alston but he then drags his shot wide poorly – half a chance for Falkirk that.
    • 64' Celtic have a corner to follow up a free-kick….important moments for Falkirk but they manage to defend it.
    • 62' A scrappy spell at the moment – the next goal will be crucial.
    • 61' Falkirk's goal scorer Jay Fulton is coming off and is being replaced by Blair Alston.
    • 59' Falkirk just sit off Ki and allow him to line up a 30-yard shot. A decent strike but a little straight. Smart save from McGovern.
    • 58' Ledley heads over the bar from a Hooper cross. Falkirk have to be careful this does not slip away.
    • 57' Millar booked for rash tackle as Falkirk lost a bit of discipline.
    • 56' GOAL FOR CELTIC!!! A superb 30-yard-free kick from Stokes that neatly nestled beautifully into the corner of the net. McGovern had no chance.
    • 55' OFF THE BAR FROM CELTIC: Chaos in the Falkirk box. A corner falls for Rogne in the box and he gets a shot away but McGovern somehow pushes it onto the cross bar. Celtic then shout for a handball but it is too close-range for the referee to give anything.
    • 53' Celtic look to break quickly but Dods makes a great tackle to deny a flying Stokes.
    • 51' Higginbotham digs out another superb cross to the far post that drops for Fulton, he has a great chance but skies it miles over the bar. Real chance for Falkirk.
    • 50' Falkirk seem to be a little deeper in the early stages of this second-half. Up to Celtic to unlock the door though.
    • 48' Celtic passing and probing in the early stages of this second half.
    • 47' Wanyama takes a knock straight away and will need some treatment. Should be fine though.
    • 46' Celtic have brought Ki Sung-yueng on for Izaguirre at the break.
    • 46' Falkirk manager Stephen Pressley has been sent to the stands for the second-half for complaining to referee Euan Norris on the pitch at the end of the first half. Silly red especially as there was no complaint about the penalty and Celtic had a good goal disallowed.
    • HT And there is the half-time whistle. A very good, even game and that is all credit to Falkirk who are really putting on a good show here.
    • 45' Lovely counter by Celtic…Hooper slips in Forrest who has a clear run to goal, McGovern races out though, makes the angle tough, and then makes the save.
    • 44' More great work from Higginbotham, this time down the left – he puts in a great low cross but El Alagui fresh airs it.
    • 44' Rogne spins free as a free comes in from Brown but he makes a hash of the header.
    • 43' Fulton's father is former Celtic, Falkirk and Hearts player Steve Fulton.
    • 42' You can't really deny Falkirk that goal. They have matched Celtic today and the goal is well deserved for some lovely play.
    • 40' GOAL FOR FALKIRK!!! 17-year-old Jay Fulton has calmly placed the ball into the net for the equaliser. Lovely goal from Falkirk who passed the ball from left to right with Higginbotham cutting the defence open with the killer pass.
    • 39' Hooper takes advantage of a Wallace area right on the touchline, runs inside the box, checks it back to Stokes, but his shot is then blocked by Dods.
    • 38' Mulgrew gives the ball away cheaply in a dangerous area but El Alagui is quickly hounded out.
    • 37' Falkirk deal with another cross and then Brown's header back into the melting pot has too much on it.
    • 35' Falkirk have had 46% of the possession which really is not bad at all, all things considered.
    • 34' Falkirk are well organised and have dealt with most things. Just Darren Dods silly foul for the penalty that has cost them.
    • 33' Ledley turns on the edge of the box and has a shot deflected wide for a corner.
    • 32' Hooper and Stokes can't quite combine with each other in a dangerous area inside the box.
    • 31' Falkirk enjoying a bit of possession without any real threat. Milar still pulling the strings for them.
    • 30' Awful pass from Ledley allows Falkirk to counter attack.
    • 29' Celtic fans in full voice now – I think the Falkirk folks are in a state of shock though.
    • 27' El Alagui has a shot at the other end but no power on it.
    • 26' GOAL CELTIC: Scott Brown quickly takes the ball and calmly sends McGovern the wrong way. From nothing really Celtic have the lead. Cheap peno to give away by Dods.
    • 26' PENALTY FOR CELTIC!!!! As the corner comes in Darren Dods was all over Rogne and the referee points to the spot and books Dods.
    • 25' Good work from Cha and Forrest earns Celtic a corner down the right.
    • 24' Impressive opening spell this for Falkirk. They are not afraid to stick the ball on the deck and try and play some football.
    • 23' Forster under pressure has to be alert to deal with a cross from Higginbotham with Alagui lurking.
    • 21' Stewart Murdoch crashes into Scott Brown and gets a deserved tellow card.
    • 20' Anthony Stokes is free down the left but then produces one of the worst crosses" you'll ever see as he barely makes contact with the ball.
    • 19' Rogne gets banged into by Murray Wallace - takes the wind out of him but he will be okay.
    • 18' Another superb pass from Mark Millar sends Duffie down the right and it ends up in a corner. Millar looks the class act for the underdogs.
    • 17' OFF THE BAR FROM CELTIC! Rogne gets his head on the corner – he heads it into the ground and it bounces up and hits the crossbar.
    • 16' Joe Ledley chases what looks to be a lost cause and wins his team a corner.
    • 14' Still some loose passing from the Bhoys though. Izaguirre the latest man to give the ball away.
    • 13' Seems like Lennon's ranting and raving has had an effect. They are on top now but they will be raging if their disallowed goal comes back to haunt them – Hooper was a mile onside.
    • 12' IN THE NET FROM CELTIC BUT DISALLOWED. A lovely check back from Forrest finds Brown on the edge of the box and he smashes a ball towards goal. McGovern pushes it onto the post but Hopper is there to smash in the rebound. He is flagged for offside but replays showed he was on.
    • 10' A Celtic cross somewhat fortuitously falls to Stokes but it takes him by surprise and he can't get it under control.
    • 9' Neil Lennon very animated on the sideline – he's not happy with what he has seen so far.
    • 7' First we see of El Alagui as he screws a shot wide from a tough angle after being set up by Higginbotham. Celtic giving the ball away cheaply earlier on.
    • 6' Kieran Duffie miscontrols a lovely cross field ball from Mark Millar and the ball goes out of play.
    • 5' Celtic stroke a couple of passes together and Izaguirre then wins a corner down the left.
    • 4' Falkirk blaze a shot over the bar but they have started the match the brighter of the two teams. Very early days though.
    • 3' Higginbotham roars forward for Falkirk but he then has a heavy touch and falls over and the chance goes.
    • 2' Bright start from Falkirk who are looking to get the ball down and play.
    • 1' And Celtic gets us underway.
    • 15:00 And the teams coming out with Coldplay blaring from the PA system…if that doesn't get you in the mood well then….I guess you don't like Coldplay.
    • 14:58 Falkirk already in the tunnel ready to come out – just waiting on Celtic.
    • 14:55 Today's referee is Euan Norris
    • 14:50 Falkirk boss Steven Pressley: "When the draw was made Celtic were struggling and going through a transitional period but since then they have done nothing but win games. Twelve straight SPL wins is a phenomenal record but I also think that we have progressed enormously over the last eight weeks."
    • 14:45 Celtic boss Neil Lennon: "All the pressure will be on us, but Falkirk have nothing to lose - our players are used to that. Semis are difficult games because you're so close to getting to the final. We had a good time at Hampden last season, winning two semi-finals."
    • 14:40 Falkirk are currently second in the First Division. Their man to watch is Farid El Alagui - the Moroccan striker has banged in 22 goals this season.
    • 14:35 Yesterday Dean Shiels' extra-time winner eventually took Kilmarnock past Ayrshire rivals Ayr United as they claimed a 1-0 victory in the other semi-final at Hampden. Shiels sends Killie through
