    • 51' It's all Celtic early on. Brown gives the ball away to Michael Stewartbut the midfielder breaks with absolutely no support and he is quickly dispossessed.

    • 45' Neilson throws in from the Hearts right... in fact he doesn't because he thinks there is a Celtic player in the way. He eventually sends in a long throw that Obua flicks on for Elliot!! His effort is cleared off the line by Caldwell.
    • 44' Loovens returns to the fray... the Celtic medics will take a closer look at him at half-time, no doubt.
    • 42' Loovens is still receiving treatment. Hearts keeper Marian Kello clattered him as he cleared that corner. No malice, though.
    • 41' Scott Brown blazes a shot over from 25 yards out, and Glenn Loovens has stayed down after a collision in the Hearts box.
    • 40' A Celtic corner glances off Zaliukas and bounces up and over the Hearts bar! They are clinging on now..
    • 39' A tight offside decision goes against Georgios Samaras as he collects a long ball and bears down on goal.
    • 38' NAKAMURA!!! He tries a Beckham, shooting from halfway and the ball goes just over. But the whistle has already gone following a barney in midfield between Scott Brown and Lee Wallace. Referee Thomson calms things down and keeps hiscards in his pocket.
    • 36' Scott Brown!! Twists and turns in the Hearts box but then slashes his shot high over the bar!
    • 35' CELTIC GO CLOSE!!! Kello saves with his legs from a low Nakamura shot and Hearts somehow survive the subsequent Celtic onslaught.
    • 33' Corner on the Celtic right, outswinging delivery from Nakamura. The ball is cleared to the edge of the3 box where Hartley unleashes a volley that takes a wicked deflection but Kello makes the save!
    • 32' Karapidis shoots from long range, Boruc it but then dives on the loose ball to complete the save.
    • 31' The Celtic fans are getting a little anxious, and murmur their discontent as Samaras opts not to chase a long ball into the corner.
    • 29' Samaras heads the ball high in the air and as it comes down it appears to come off Neilson's arm, but referee Thomson says play on!
    • 28' Nakamura's corner swerves in at the near post and is on target but Kello catches.
    • 27' MCGEADY!!!! Fires low from the edge of the box and Kello does just enough to tip the ball behind via the base of the post!!
    • 26' McGeady cuts inside amid a flurry of stepovers but has no attacking options available and has to play a simple square ball.
    • 25' A decent spell for Hearts this.. Karapidis appears to be fouled 40 metres out but referee Thomson says play on.
    • 23' Neilson flings a long throw into the Celtic box from the right but there is an infringement on Loovens and the Bhoys clear.
    • 22' Hartley goes in hard on Mrowiec and is lucky not to pick up a booking. Hearts float the ball into the Celtic box but the hosts clear.
    • 21' WHAT A MISS BY SCOTT MCDONALD!!! Kello can only parry Brown's shot from the edge of the box and the Aussie blazes the rebound over with the goal at his mercy!
    • 20' McDonald crosses from the right with Samaras in space in the centre... but the ball floats over the big Greek striker's head.
    • 19' Nakamura gets half a yard to fire off a shot from the edge of the box, but his effort is charged down. He is so dealy from that sort of range..
    • 18' Celtic look to counter-attack with some pace by McDonald holds the ball up for far too long in the centre circle and allows Hearts to get back in numbers.
    • 16' Mrowiec slides through the back of McGeady and that is the game's first yellow card!
    • 14' Deep cross from the Hearts left... well taken by Artur Boruc. The 'holy goalie' has not had much to do so far today.
    • 13' Templeton nutmegs O'Dea down the Hearts right but then the toungster takes a heavy touch and puts the ball out for a goal-kick.
    • 12' Brown attempts a lobbed through ball to McDonald but it is cut deftly out by Karipidis.
    • 10' Gordon Strachan looks irate. There has not been much tempo in his team's play, and they need to step things up a little.
