    • Rangers
    • 90'+1 AND THAT'S IT! RANGERS ARE SCOTTISH CHAMPIONS!!! A true champions' performance from the Gers today, and they are worthy winners of the title. Bitter disappointment for Dundee United, though: Aberdeen look like they're going to finish the job against Hibs to grab that European spot.
    • 90' One extra minute to play...
    • 88' David Goodwillie makes one last effort to try and score a consolation goal, but he's closed down by Weir and Whittaker. Nothing to spoil this party, thanks.
    • 86' The ground is emptying quickly now as home fans desperately try to escape witnessing the Gers' celebrations.
    • 84' For what it's worth - which isn't much - it's still goalless between Celtic and Hearts. More important for United fans is that the Dons still lead Hibs by 2-1 and seem to have the final European spot wrapped up.
    • 82' Kyle Lafferty leaves the field to what would have been a standing ovation - but the Rangers fans were already on their feet to a man, so technically speaking it's just a slightly louder cheer.
    • 81' Yellow card for Weir after a tired, sloppy challenge on Dods.
    • 80' The helicopter is floating over the ground, with the SPL trophy on board and no doubt already decked out in blue and white ribbons
    • 77' Nacho Novo breaks on the counter-attack and has a decent chance, but fires his well-struck shot straight at Zaluska.
    • 76' It's a yellow for United sub Sandaza after a clumsy challenge.
    • 75' Endless back and forth in the middle of the pitch now. If this game were a boxing match it would have been stopped a couple of rounds ago.
    • 73' Plenty of grins and high-fives going on down on the Rangers bench - from the level of hilarity perhaps somebody suggested that Ally McCoist should go on.
    • 72' Another change made by Smith, and it's Kenny Miller coming off to a standing ovation with Barry Ferguson on as his replacement.
    • 70' The home fans are heading off early, no doubt trying to avoid getting stuck in a gloomy Dundee traffic jam in and among the tooting and cheering Rangers fans.
    • 69' Nice move by new man Nacho Novo, who looks about to make it 4-0 before Dods dispossesses him.
    • 67' Still no goals to report at Parkhead, but it's all a moot point now since Celtic's three-year reign at the top of Scottish football has just 20 minutes left to go.
    • 66' Nacho Novo comes on for Kris Boyd, who trots off after a job well done today.
    • 64' It's Craig Conway who comes off, with Danny Swanson trotting on.
    • 63' Another change looks likely for United now...
    • 62' United keep on probing, but it's more training match intensity now.
    • 60' Walter Smith seems to be discussing a couple of changes to his side down on the bench.
    • 59' Goodwillie is still trying to make something happen for the hosts, but the Gers defence know their jobs well enough to keep closing those gaps up.
    • 57' It feels like all Dundee United can do now is hope for a favour from Hibs - but Aberdeen are still beating them 2-1.
    • 56' Shoulders have dropped all over Scotland - over at Parkhead the Bhoys fans are glumly listening to their radios as they watch their side miss chance after chance against Hearts, and the orange-clad United fans here are sitting glum and cross-armed.
    • 54' Levein brings on Kenneth and Sandaza for Wilkie and Robertson... but frankly it doesn't seem like it matters much any more. They're just not going to concede three times - and the visiting fans' celebrations are going mad!
    • 52' THIRD GOAL FOR RANGERS - AND IT'S KRIS BOYD!!!! THAT'S THE TITLE FOR THE GERS FOR DEFINITE!!! Miller put in a ball, and Boyd timed his run past his markers perfectly, giving him the simplest of finishes to make from just inside the six-yard box. He'll never score an easier goal - nor a more important one!
    • 51' Looks like there's going to be a change here: Craig Levein is going to bring on Sandaza to try to make something happen for the hosts.
    • 49' United have come out for this half looking desperate to get back in to things: that European spot is at risk, since Aberdeen are leading Hibs 2-1. They've got a lot to play for still.
    • 47' Just a quick reminder: for Rangers to lose the title they need to lose or draw and Celtic must beat Hearts at Parkhead. But the Gers look good here and Celtic are still locked 0-0 with Hearts, so the Bhoys won't be holding their breath... Keep up with the other match here!
    • 46' We're back in action at Tannadice, and unless something amazing happens this feels like it'll be a 45-minute victory procession for the visitors.
    • - The Rangers fans are celebrating in the stands already - and it's hard to see how they might be premature with it, because as well as their two goal advantage here it's still goalless at Parkhead.
    • 45'+1 Mendes's goal turns out to be more or less the last kick of the half, and Rangers will be thrilled to have a two goal lead. Dundee United will wonder how they're a couple down after playing some nice football in the half, but champion teams just have a habit of scoring when when they have to.
    • 45' Papac takes the free kick but it hits the wall... but Mendes is there to pick up the deflection AND HE SMASHES IT INTO THE FAR CORNER OF THE NET!!!!! Beautiful left-foot rocket and Rangers are all but there!!!!
    • 44' Free kick for Rangers, right on the edge of the box! It's Dods who brings down Edu, but Buaben was there to tread on him - and earns a yellow...
    • 43' The corner is fired in again by Dixon, but Papac is there this time to head the ball clear. The Rangers back four have been superb today - United have looked dangerous attacking but have been closed down at every turn.
    • 42' More good work from Goodwillie - who is looking fast and silky today - and he wins a corner...
    • 41' Free kick for the home side on the right edge of the pitch... fired in by Dixon, but Bougherra climbs high to head the ball clear.
    • 40' Dixon storms up the left flank for United and looks like he'll earn the right to put a ball in, but he just can't lose Whittaker and eventually the Rangers man wins the ball back.
    • 39' GREAT CHANCE FOR GERS GOES BEGGING! Boyd gets the ball in the box, turns to lose his markers and fires a great shot past Zaluska - but Kovacevic is there and nods it off the line!
    • 38' Goodwillie got clattered as he did that fancy backheel - there's a brief delay for treatment.
    • 37' Lovely backheel from Goowillie releases David Robertson up the left and there seems to be something on for United... but he gets closed down.
    • 36' Mendes takes it, but it's fired straight into the grateful arms of Zaluska.
    • 35' Mullet-sporting goal hero Kyle Lafferty wins a free kick for Gers on the left... Put in by Mendes, and Kovacevic is forced to condede a corner.
    • 33' United push up again thanks to a long throw-in from the left, but again that Rangers defence looks solid.
    • 32' Disallowed goal for Rangers, as Miller is off-side once again - it was a nicely worked move, with better timing that would have been 2-0....
    • 31' Dixon takes, and swerves it straight in towards the goal-line - Alexander takes, but steps into the goal as he does so! He holds the ball out in his hands to avoid conceding, but that was a tricky one.
    • 30' Corner for United! First of the match...
    • 29' Nice bit of dribbling from Caddis - wouldn't he love to stick one over the visitors today? - but he just runs out of space and yet again Papac is there to clear.
    • 28' Lovely long ball into the middle from Steven Davis on the right wing, but Miller mistimes his run marginally and is declared off-side.
    • 27' United keeper Zaluska booms a huge goal kick up field to try to get these attacks back up and running - but the Rangers defence is razor sharp.
    • 25' The pace of the game just seems to be slowing a bit at the moment; there's been a fair bit of midfield pinball going on and a fair bit of mindless hoofing.
    • 24' More good news for Rangers fans: Celtic's Scott McDonald has just lamped the ball over the bar with an empty goal at his mercy!
    • 23' Dundee United are really pushing hard to get back in to this - the Gers have hardly seen the ball in the last five or 10 minutes.
    • 22' Over in the other match Celtic are still goalless as they entertain the Jambos. Follow Celtic-Hearts right here!
    • 21' Great ball up from Caddis for Goodwillie to chase, and the striker does well to make space to shoot - but Papac slides in at the last possible moment to block the shot!
    • 19' Pedro Mendes latches on to a loose ball and tries to unleash a long-range shot - but he's so far out the ball would've needed sat nav to find the net from there.
    • 18' Conway is looking very lively on the left flank for the home side, asking constant questions of the Rangers defence.
    • 17' Aberdeen are leading Hibs 1-0 - that's bad news for Dundee Utd, who'd lose that Europa League spot on goal difference if things stayed like that.
    • 16' It's all United now... they keep pumping the ball into the visitors' box, and are looking dangerous.
    • 15' Conway ends up putting the ball in perfectly for David Robertson, but he heads straight at Alexander in the Rangers goal! That was a great chance, he should have done a bit better with that free header...
    • 14' Decent move for the home side started by Goodwillie...
    • 13' Celtic are still locked at 0-0 against Hearts - so far, so good for Rangers then...
    • 12' Rangers keep pushing up the pitch - Boughera plays a long free kick up into the box which has the home defence spinning momentarily, but Zaluska recovers well.
    • 11' Walter Smith is staying impassive - he knows a one goal advantage won't mean much.
    • 9' Yellow card for Lee Wilkie after a cycnical hack!
    • 8' United unlucky not to get a free kick as Goodwillie is downed just outside the box.
    • 7' Boyd made that goal with his run up the right, but great support by Lafferty to be lurking in the six yard box. Straight away Boyd charges up to have another go - but slips in the box while he's charging free into the box!
    • 6' GOAL FOR RANGERS!!!! Kyle Lafferty didn't look like he knew too much about that one, but he somehow - and brilliantly - got Boyd's ball into the back of the net! What a start for them!
    • 5' Long ball upfield by United keeper Zaluska from a deep free kick, but the Gers cut out the danger and push back up field.
    • 3' That was a great early chance for Rangers, but United look well up for this, hustling their visitors all over the park.
    • 2' There's still balloons all over the pitch - and there's a great chance for Rangers already! Davis gets the ball in space on the right edge of the box, and cuts it back well - but Boyd and Miller are too far up the pitch and it runs behind them!
    • 1' We've kicked off in Dundee... and they've also kicked off down at Parkhead where Celtic take on Hearts. Follow live comments for that match here.
    • - Paul Caddis, out on the right is on loan from Celtic... what a chance for him to help out his team-mates!
    • - The teams are running out onto the pitch in brilliant Tayside sunshine, crowd singing at the tops of their voices and players looking relaxed and confident.
    • - Dundee Utd need a point to get into Europe for certain - and if they nick it, then Rangers could lose the title if Celtic beat Hearts...
    • - It's the final day of the SPL season - and Rangers have a fantastic chance to grab the league title off their arch rivals Celtic. The Bhoys have won the last three SPL titles, and Rangers will be desperate to grab this one...
  • Summary

    • 77' Nacho Novo breaks on the counter-attack and has a decent chance, but fires his well-struck shot straight at Zaluska.
    • 69' Nice move by new man Nacho Novo, who looks about to make it 4-0 before Dods dispossesses him.

However i am a celtic fan but Wont retalliate with the same kind of @#$% on this forum, i will say that Rangers were worthy winners, Just from their last few games, they went out and did the job asked of them - celtic were less than capable in their last few games, and rangers kicked @#$% yesterday and as usual celtic were lacking any cutting edge. I really cant stand rangers and what they (and supporters) stand for, I also cant stand the celtic supporters chants, but well done rangers, but we'll get you next year..
