ferguson, once a fud, always a fud, no more than the petulant little *&67^% deserves!
I am in total agreement with the lifetime Scotland bans imposed on Ferguson and Macgregor and with Rangers FC's decision to show them the door at Ibrox. Both players behaved like a pair of infantile neds and brought shame on the country and the football club they professed to be honoured to represent. Yes it's very sad that it has come to this state of affairs, but it is extremely important that a clear message is sent out to the future generations of players that such insubordination and unprofessional behaviour will not be tolerated in any circumstances and this course of action will, hopefully, achieve that.
However, having said that, I do think the matter has been poorly handled by the SFA Executive judging by Fraser Wishart's claim that the first Ferguson and Macgregor knew that they'd been banned for life from playing for Scotland came from listening to the news on the radio rather than hearing it direct from either Gordon Smith or George Peat. I get the impression that the affair was more in control of the SFA Executive rather than the Executive being in on top of the situation, and reprehensible though Ferguson and Macgregor's behaviour has been, they at least deserved the courtesy of being informed of the decision first hand either face-to-face or by telephone from Gordon Smith.
I also think that if George Burley had not agreed to the players having a drink at the hotel in the first place and made them go to bed instead, none of the nonsense we have witnessed over the past week would have happened. It also sounds ludicrous for Burley to claim that the decision to impose the lifetime bans was down to him (see the front page of the sport section of the Sunday Herald). He would have some input, but one would have thought that this would ultimately be the responsibility of the SFA Executive, not the Team Manager.
hail hail 4 in a row ya dirty low life orange @#$%

Cant wait to bring those fenian bhoy botherers to ibrox ,dirtynonces will be arrested by interpol who are tracking their progress on this forum .burn them ...annihilate the priest pleasers.NO SURRENDER WE R THE PEOPLE !!!
If you ask me the whole thing has got totally blown out of proportion. When did you ever here of anyone getting banned or thrown on the trannsfer list for giving a V sign. Players have done worse, Gazza played his flute, Cantona dived into the crowd and smacked a fan, Bremner and Johnston sparked a full scale rescue after they got drunk and tried to row to Argentina or whereever it was. Come on get serious. Fined yes, banned no and transferred no.
WHY DO ILLITERATE DULLARDS THAT CANT SPELL OR INDEED TYPE WITH THEIR CRIPPLED FINGERS BOTHER HUMILIATING ''THEMSELVES'' ? DIRTYLITTLENONCE .NO SURRENDER FTP BJK WE R THE PEOPLE !!!
aye -might be worst gers team in years but not any more so than celtic
