    • 90' LECCE V FIORENTINA: DISASTER FOR LECCE! Martin Jorgensen scores an injury-time equaliser for Fiorentina and Lecca are down! Oh no, what heartbreak! It would have been a big win too, as Torino lost 3-2 to Genoa!!
    • 90+5 And there is the whistle! A big and controversial win for Roma at Milan. Looks like Italy will be saying 'arrivederci' to Carlo Ancelotti while England says 'hello'! Milan have to wait for another game to seal Champions League football as Juventus won 3-0 at Siena.
    • 90+4 Dida gets the ball back and hoofs it long upfield. Milan desperate and stunned by that double-whammy.
    • 90+2 Menez on the ball, cutting inside from the left and he drills a super shot across Dida but palmed away for a corner!
    • 90' FIVE minutes of injury time. Well, the ref may have robbed Milan of two penalties but at least he's giving them a chance.
    • 88' Motta trips Zambrotta in the box and it's a penalty! No! The ref decides it's a dive! And he's sent Ambrosini off, a second yelloW! Was that for dissent or did he mistakenly think he dived? Milan can't believe it! That's two clear penalties he's denied them! It was cast-iron too, Zambrotta knocked the ball past Motta who, going the other way, stuck out a leg to bring him down! Shocking refereeing, and it could cost Carlo Ancelotti his job.
    • 87' Seedorf cuts in from the right and unleashes a shot that goes high and wide.
    • 85' Free-kick Roma, eventually, Totti to take from the left of the D... touched to him by Pizarro and Totti hammers it on goal AND IT FLIES LOW PAST THE WALL AT 100MPH INTO THE BOTTOM RIGHT FOR 3-2!! WHAT A GOAL! AMAZING STRIKE FROM TOTTI! THIS IS BRILLIANT! Who remembers when Serie A was a tedious selection of slow-paced, goalless draws and 1-0 wins? Why is it so crazed now?
    • 84' Menez looks really good running with the ball as he glides past Maldini and Ambrosini, with the latter bringing him down.
    • 83' Brighi goes down in the Milan box but the ref says he fouled Maldini, which he did, good call.
    • 81' Milan try to hit back immediately, Seedorf plays it wide to Kaka, a low first time ball AND A BRILLIANTLY-TIMED RUN BY AMBROSINI AT THE FAR POST TO TAP IT INTO THE EMPTY NET FOR 2-2! Stunning response from Milan! Two goals in a minute!!
    • 80' Taddei plays the ball inside to Pizarro, first-time to the overlapping Riise who plays it one touch to Menez AND MENEZ WITH A GREAT DUMMY TO LEAVE FAVALLI FOR DEAD AND HE DRILLS IT LOW PAST DIDA FOR 2-1!!
    • 78' Ronaldinho on the ball, he's in the area and here comes the shimmy but he can't get past Mexes and Roma clear.
    • 77' Ball from Totti and Menez is in, he gets past Maldini and shoots low to the right but saved by Dida! That could have been a great introduction for the Frenchman.
    • 76' ROMA SUB: Menez, the French winger-forward, comes on for Vucinic.
    • 75' Kaka comes down on the right, he drills the cross low FOR INZAGHI BUT PARRIED BY ARTHUR! THE REBOUND FALLS TO INZAGHI BUT HE'S FALLING AND AMBROSINI FLIES IN TO RIFLE THE BALL INTO THE BACK OF THE NET! 1-1! Milan deserved that for their second-half pressure.
    • 73' Vucinic is in on the left and he shoots but deflected wide for a corner!
    • 72' Ambrosini comes forward and it opens up for him but he drills low at Arthur.
    • 71' Free-kick to Milan on the left which Pirlo swings in but Motta heads clear for a corner.
    • 69' ROMA SUB: Juan has an injury and comes off for Diamoutene.
    • 69' The corner is swung in, Roma can't clear and it drops to Ambrosini with a downward header but a superb tip away from Arthur, who got a strong arm on it knowing Milan were lurking for the rebound!
    • 68' Kaka on the right, he cuts inside and unleashes a ferocious drive that Arthur tips over for a corner! Great strike, even better save.
    • 67' Great defending by Zambrotta to intercept a pass to Totti that would have sent him in, Zambrotta brings it away to launch an attack...
    • 66' The ref has flashed another yellow card, not sure at who though.
    • 65' More good play by Milan as Seedorf one-two with Ronaldinho, Seedorf is in but too far to the right, loads of space though and he drills it across and bodies fly in but no-one makes contact and Taddei hacks clear at the far post!
    • 63' Kaka pops up on the right and drills a low ball across goal which Seedorf slides in for but he just misses it and it zips past the far post! A touch and that would have been in!
    • - TORINO V GENOA: A cracker in Turin, with two goals in a minute for these sides making it 2-2. Torino are battling relegation while Genoa can close the gap on fourth-placed Fiorentina.
    • - LECCE V FIORENTINA: A huge, huge goal for Lecce, and unexpected too - fighting for their lives at the bottom, they are 1-0 up against fourth-placed Fiorentina, Tiribocchi with the goal.
    • 60' Milan come forward again, headed clear by Mexes but lands for PIRLO but he half-volleys wide.
    • 59' MILAN SUB: Pato and Jankulovski come off for Ronaldinho and Zambrotta.
    • 58' Cassetti is down injured as Milan prepare to make a change. Pizarro is in the wars too. The Milan players are having a word with the ref, who bottled that penalty. It was as clear to see as cheese is tasty.
    • 57' Inzaghi chases it into the box and Juan slips to let him in and he trips Inzaghi and penalty! But no! The ref inexplicably waves play on, Roma go down the other end but Vucinic is muscled out of it by Maldini! How did he not give that? Okay, Inzaghi flounces around like a restoration fop but that was a clear spot-kick.
    • 56' Lovely piece of skill by Seedorf to turn out of trouble and into space, launching an attack in the process. Flamini now, Inzaghi, back with Seedorf on the edge of the box but Taddei is back defending and wins a throw off the veteran Dutchman.
    • 55' Roma break and it drops to Vucinic on the edge of the box but he swings wildly at the ball and Milan clear.
    • 54' Pirlo swings in the free-kick, punched unnecessarily by the keeper Arthur, it's knocked back into the Roma box and Seedorf beats one man but is tackled before shooting, it breaks to the edge of the box but Flamini slides in late on Brighi.
    • 53' Ambrosini to Seedorf, wide to Pato who wins a free-kick off Motta who is also harshly booked. No need for those two cards, a soft free-kick at worst. This is more like it from Milan though.
    • 52' Shirt pull from Ambrosini on Totti and a rather harsh yellow card is shown.
    • 51' A sustained spell of Milan pressure but Roma have men behind the ball and are repelling pretty much everything throw at them.
    • 50' Milan win a corner on the left, which Kaka has to take now Beckham is off. Cleared, back with Kaka and his cross is out for a throw.
    • 48' Slow start to this half. Roma are happy to sit and defend this lead, a point would be a good result for them anyway as it would all-but guarantee a Europa League spot.
    • 46' Second half underway!
    • - MILAN SUB: Beckham comes off, surprisingly as he has played pretty well, in comes Seedorf, not a bad option from the bench.
    • - LECCE V FIORENTINA: It's goalless here, which is no use to Lecce who will go down as it stands.
    • - ATALANTA V PALERMO: Succi's goal has put Palermo 1-0 up at the break.
    • - CATANIA V NAPOLI: It's a goal apiece at Catania in a meaningless game with both safe and no chance of Europa League.
    • 45' SAMPDORIA V UDINESE: Samp are 2-1 up after Cassano scored just before the break.
    • - TORINO V GENOA: Franceschini has levelled Milito penalty to leave it 1-1 at half-time. Torino are trying to beat the drop and are one point above the bottom three as it stands.
    • 45+1 Half-time, 1-0 to Roma thanks to that superb free-kick by John Arne Riise!
    • 45' Great play by Roma, stroking the ball around like it's 2001, crossfield by Totti and now Riise has it, he sprints forward, shoots, it's blocked but DROPS VUCINIC WHO IS TOTALLY FREE BUT HE VOLLEYS STRAIGHT AT DIDA! Another superb chance for Roma.
    • 43' A succession of Beckham corners are well defended by Roma, who get a goal kick. Milan come again though, Beckham on the right goes back to Kaka this time but his pass is poor and intercepted, then he kicks Brighi in the face as he arches to control the ball.
    • 42' Good play by Milan with Kaka spreading it wide, Beckham just about keeps it in on the right and he plays a brilliant cross under pressure FOR PATO WHO TAKES A TOUCH AND MUST SCORE BUT A BRILLIANT BLOCK BY MOTTA! Corner Milan.
    • 41' Beckham inside to Ambrosini, now Jankulovski goes wide right to Flamini, he sets up Beckham who crosses but headed clear by Juan.
    • 39' An old Premier League rivalry is re-kindled with Flamini chopping down Riise, who really rolled back the years with that goal.
    • 37' Inzaghi goes down in the area but no penalty! He has a tendency to over-elaborate and that was a quite ridiculous dive, a full second after Taddei came across the back of him without making contact.
    • 35' Pizarro with a slightest of touches to RIISE WHO UNLEASHES A THUNDEROUS DRIVE THAT FLIES INTO THE ROOF OF THE NET TO THE LEFT OF DIDA! WHAT A HIT! WHAT A GOAL! Roma are 1-0 up in the San Siro!
    • 34' Free-kick to Roma on the edge of the D, indirect so Pizarro and Riise stand over it, one will touch to the other I assume...
    • 33' This is a pretty even match, one which you would have expected Milan to win though. Roma are creating as much as their hosts and defending fairly well.
    • 31' Pato is brought down by Motta on the left wing, free-kick to Milan.
    • 30' Mexes trips Kaka in the left corner but, bizarrely, the ref awards Roma a free-kick for Kaka handling as he fell.
    • 29' High ball from Beckham that totally catches Roma at sixes and sevens, and Kaka is in on the left, the angle is tight but he finishes brilliantly towards the far corner but tipped around by Arthur! Great save!
    • 28' Beckham to Kaka, but Roma get the ball back, now with Totti who slows play down and goes inside to Mexes getting forward, now Taddei on the left and he drills it in low but Dida pounces on it before Vicinic can slide in to finish.
    • 26' Juan intercepts an attempted through-ball from Kaka. Vucinic is in but held off by Maldini. Beckham now plays it long to the left channel but no-one is there.
    • 25' Inzaghi with a woeful header that goes about 10 yards wide when it looked easier to score than miss, but the flag was up anyway.
    • 24' Totti and Brighi with a neat one-two AND BRIGHI WITH THE DRIVE BUT INCHES WIDE! Great one-touch passing football from Roma.
    • 23' Ball over the top from Beckham and Pato is in, one-on-one but his first touch is poor, really heavy and into the arms of Roma keeper Arthur.
    • 22' Jankulovski gets in on the left but his cross to the far post is aimless and no-one was nearby anyway.
    • 21' Kaka surges forward but a great slide tackle from Mexes to clear.
    • 20' Milan come forward, Kaka plays a brilliant defence-splitting through ball for Inzaghi who races clean through but the flag is up for offside! He was on, 100 per cent, it was a perfect ball and run. Unlucky Milan, denied by their own competence.
    • 19' Taddei almost gets in on the left but his cross-shot is deflected into Dida's arms.
    • 17' Beckham to take but cleared by Roma, who come forward through David Pizarro but Jankulovski is back to clear.
    • 16' Kaka gets forward and has a crack but deflected and over for a corner.
    • 15' CRUNCH! Full-blooded challenge between Beckham and Taddei going for a 50-50.
    • 14' The ball drops to Brighi around 30 yards out and it opens up for him so he goes for a shot that zips well wide.
    • 12' Carlo Ancelotti looks pensive. This could be his last match in front of the Milan fans at the San Siro and, whether he stays or not, a win would be the best send off.
    • 11' Inzaghi chases a high ball from Ambrosini but it runs out for a goal kick.
    • 9' High one down the left almost releases Kaka, but fellow Brazilian Motta is there to shepherd it out for a throw to Roma.
    • 7' The ball is slid through by Totti, Milan are all over the place and Brighi is in but Ambrosini gets back to ease him out of the way and Dida claims.
    • 5' Totti is in space right centre and it drops nicely for him so he tries a dipping half-volley but it goes well over.
    • 4' Pato and Beckham almost combine but Riise gets back to clear.
    • 3' Milan clear the corner but Roma come again, Totti can't get the shot away though.
    • 2' Roma come forward, knocked on and Flamini is out of position, Vucinic threads it through to Taddei who is in and fires on goal but a great stop by Dida! Corner Roma.
    • 1' Match underway at the San Siro! It's Paolo Maldini's last and, quite possibly, Carlo Ancelotti's!

    • - England star David Beckham is expected to stay at Milan despite LA Galaxy's claims otherwise, and he is desperate for Ancelotti to stay: Beckham hails 'brilliant' Ancelotti
    • - World-class playmaker Kaka is constantly linked with moves to Real Madrid and Manchester City, but the talk of Ancelotti moving to Chelsea has thrown the Blues into the mix. The player - who rejected a move to City - insists he is devoted to his beloved Rossoneri though: Kaka dismisses move
    • - The Chelsea job is available this summer, with Guus Hiddink insistent he will commit to the Russian national team for the time being. Ancelotti is favourite to take over and, after a trophyless couple of seasons followed success at home and in Europe, many think he has done all he can with the Rossoneri and should take on a new challenge. Milan have said they will decide after this match, but the decision is as much his as the club's - or so he thinks: Ancelotti wants Milan stay
    • - ROMA TEAM NEWS: Inspirational midfielder Daniele De Rossi is suspended while Max Tonetto, Alberto Aquilani, Cicinho and keeper Doni are all injured. As a result Matteo Brighi holds the midfield and young defender Motta plays right-back.
    • - MILAN TEAM NEWS: Milan are without injured quarter Alessandro Nesta, Kakha Kaladze, Christian Abbiati and Marco Borriello, although Gennaro Gattuso is on the bench after recovering from a knee injury that kept him out for much of this season. Mathieu Flamini is expected to play right-back again while the retiring Paolo Maldini makes his final appearance in a Serie A match at the San Siro, where he has spent his entire football career.
    • - Milan face Roma in a match with big implications for both sides: Rossoneri coach Carlo Ancelotti has been linked strongly with the soon-to-be vacant Chelsea job and his future will be decided on Monday, dependent on whether Milan secure an automatic route into the Champions League group stage with a win over Roma. Roma, meanwhile, are sixth and can ensure Europa League football with a result at the San Siro - their coach, Luciano Spalletti, is the favourite to take over at Milan should Ancelotti depart for Chelsea.
