    Time:90'
    • Atalanta
    • Juventus
    • 90+2 That is it. The game finishes with no other noteworthy action and Juve move to within four points of title rivals Inter.
    • 90' That appears to be that from the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia.
    • 89' Having dominated proceedings, Diego is replaced at the death.
    • 87' Having been anonymous for much of the game, David Trezeguet reacts quickest to the break of the ball in the box to swivel and half volley Juve into a 5-2 lead. Very harsh on Atalanta.
    • 85' All over, this one.
    • 84' Diego does well to collect a deflected Camoranesi cross before slotting past Consigli from the edge of the six yard box.
    • 82' Trezeguet is offside from a Buffon launch - poor.
    • 80' The way this one has gone, you feel Atalanta will get one last chance to claim a draw.
    • 78' Juventus look to pass their way to victory but, in truth, this one is very, very scrappy.
    • 77' Up to eight in the card count - Cannavaro this time.
    • 75' Juve, having had a two goal lead on two occasions, should really have won this one already.
    • 73' Juve sub: De Ceglie for Giovinco.
    • 71' Tiribocchi hooks a pass over Grosso for Ceravolo, which the forward brings back inside Grosso before beating Buffon from 12 yards out. Game on.
    • 69' Absolute stand out man for Atalanta Valdes sees his viciously curling effort fall just the wrong side of Buffon's post.
    • 66' Diego fires over from distance.
    • 64' The cynical side of the Italian game is on full show tonight - the game is punctuated by the referee's whistle for consistent fouling. Five yellows already and there could have been more.
    • 62' Juventus have begun to take control again - passing their hosts into submission.
    • 60' Guarente flashes an effort past Buffon's post.
    • 58' Christian Poulsen is the latest player in the book.
    • 57' A frantic start to the half...
    • 55' But Melo is not to be denied his goal this evening as he collects a loose ball before absolutely rifling an effort past Consigli from 25 yards out.
    • 53' Confusion reigns but the ref - I think - has ruled out a Melo goal for offisde.
    • 51' And Atalanta break to halve the deficit. The impressive Valdes getting behind Caceres and latching onto a Guarente through ball to fire between the legs of Buffon.
    • 49' Fractured start to a second half that Atalanta are just about edging.
    • 47' Atalanta are straight on the attack.
    • 46' We're back underway at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia.
    • 45+1 And that's the last meaningful action of the first half.
    • 45' Valdes makes great strides down Juve's right before running into trouble but he somehow manages to dig out a back post cross that Ceravolo lays-off for Guarente to test Buffon with a volley. Great move.
    • 43' Doni is in the referee's note book for a lunge on Diego.
    • 42' Juve are really taking the sting out of this one - the back four have dropped incredibly deep and are doing well to stretch the play.
    • 41' As we approach half time Antonio Conte's men will be feeling more than a little hard done by to be two goals down.
    • 39' Great skill from Grosso to control a Buffon clearance on his chest and play it down the line.
    • 37' Incredible! Camoranesi picks up a loose clearance and passes it into the bottom corner to double his side's advantage.
    • 36' Just as it looked as though the home side were in the ascendancy, Juve break and Camoranesi heads them into the lead. The diminutive midfield man getting in between Talamonti and Peluso to direct a Diego cross past Consigli.
    • 33' Doni's snap half volley from a short corner whistles past the post - if that was on target Buffon would have been beaten.
    • 32' So much so, Diego is back defending and he gives away a throw close to the corner flag.
    • 31' Atalanta continue to turn the screw.
    • 30' Valdes - who has been Atalanta's best player thus far - breaks but his cross is intercepted for a corner.
    • 28' Caceres crosses for Trezeguet to give Juve the lead, but the assistant referee cuts the Frenchman's celebration short with an offside flag. Correct decision.
    • 26' Buffon spares the blushes of international colleague Grosso and comes out to clear a horrifically under hit back pass.
    • 24' Histrionics indeed, he's back on.
    • 22' We have a slight hiatus for an injury to Tiribocchi - histrionics, it looks like.
    • 22' Following a torrid start to the half, Atalanta are beginning to get a foothold in the game - in fact the best chance of the half thus far fell to Tiribocchi.
    • 20' The resulting free-kick is over hit and drifts out of play at the back post.
    • 18' Grosso is shown a yellow for a pretty cynical foul on Ceravolo.
    • 17' But curls his effort over the bar...
    • 16' Melo wins a free-kick in a dangerous position. Diego shapes up to shoot.
    • 15' Chance! Tiribocchi toe pokes past Buffon but it is the wrong side of the post. Great through ball by Valdes.
    • 13' Atalanta make little of the corner but do have a period of pressure.
    • 11' Atalanta have a free-kick in a dangerous position. Doni is over it...he flights it goalwards but Chiellini hooks clear for a corner.
    • 9' Juve break quickly, Camoranesi exchanges passes with Trezeguet before the midfielder tests Consigli from distance. Corner.
    • 8' A period of passing from the visitors culminates in Giovinco skewing the ball out of play.
    • 6' Juve making all of the early running here.
    • 5' Grosso fires a testing cross across the home side's area but none of his colleagues read it and it trickles out of play.
    • 3' Caceres - wearing some kind of face protecting mask that makes him look a bit like a vigilante - wins a big header under pressure - it falls to Padoin, but his effort is tame.
    • 2' Cannavaro launches an early testing ball forward but it is dealt with comfortably in the end.
    • 1' Juventus win the toss and get us underway...

  2. Camoranesi on form recently, good stuff. De Ceglie or Molinaro are our best left backs for sure. I like Grosso, good crosser and attacks up the wing but maybe better as a full back.

  8. Not bad at all for Juve, considering the total number of goals scored by them-8! I still think they need to work on defense. They look pretty vulnerable on the counter attack. And need to be better organised in that dept. for the remainder of the serie A season, and the Champions league.

From Dafe G, on Sat 7 Nov 9:42PM
  9. Well deserved win, good for the morale too. 5 goals is a great thing. I feel Trezeguet is getting back slowly but steadily to his scoring habits. Amauri will be back next game so we will be even better.
