    Cristian Chivu scored the winner as Internazionale escaped from the San Siro with a vital 3-2 win over Serie A strugglers Cesena. More

    • 83' Budan hits the post for Cesena! Inter living very dangerously as Budan gets a sight of goal, but can only find the base of the near post with his effort.
    • 82' Great chance for Cesena after a spell of good pressure. Cesena pump a series of balls into the box, which Inter fail to clear. The final cross comes in from the right and the ball falls to Budan 6 yards out, but he can't get enough on his shot.

    • 71' Great football by Inter, starting again with Eto'o in the centre of the pitch. He tenaciously wins two tackles, before feeding Maicon on the right. Maicon exchanges a 1-2 with Biabiany but the Brazilian's shot is straight at Antonioli. Good move though.

    • 66' Great run by Cesena's Jiminez, who was allowed to run and run with the ball. He fired his shot just wide from 25 yards but that was a wake-up call for Inter.
    • 64' Eto'o hits the bar! And it's still shaking. Cesena opened up as Cambiasso cut the ball back to Eto'o who was 8 yards out. Rather than passing it in, Eto'o tried to burst the net but rattled the bar instead.

    • 59' Biabiany gets forward this time and puts a brilliant low cross into the box but Eto'o, who applauds the ball, can't quite get there in time.
    • 57' Pandev tries to thread the ball through the eye of a needle to Maicon, who was forward, but can't quite achieve it. Maicon was in on goal otherwise.

    • 4' Inter win a free kick on the right which Maicon tries to whip in but it fails to beat the first man. But a lucky richochet sees the ball fall to Cambiasso, but he takes a heavy touch and the danger is gone.
    • 2' Brilliant start by Inter who get going with Pandev down the right. He tries to put a cross in with his left foot from the right side but it doesn't go to plan and the ball loops out for a goal kick.

    • 19.25 Cesena have other issues on their mind, as they sit in 17th - out of the relegation zone by virtue of their superior goal difference over Lecce. An unlikely win for them at the San Siro could see them go as high as 14th. But for that to happen, they'd have to win 4-0!
