    • 90+3 Cambiasso just wide after a superb headed take and run clear!
    • 90+2 Taken short as Inter waste time.
    • 90+1 Inter have a free-kick a long way out but Lucio's effort is deflected wide for a corner.

    • 87' Zanetti with the tackle and pass to free Maicon, but what a hit from the Brazilian, who gives Stramaccioni a hug. And why not - what a goal.

    • - Cesar is arguing with the ref in the tunnel, and with good reason. It was a dreadful decision to award the penalty, the ref had a clear view and the movement of the ball - and the fact Cesar got there so far before Boateng the Ghana midfielder didn't even appeal - made it clear to all.
    • - So as it stands Juve would be champions on the head-to-head. Milan HAVE to come out all-guns blazing in the second half!
    • 45+5 A drop ball is kicked back to Cesar by Ibra and the whistle goes for half-time. All smiles between Cesar and Ibra, who touch fists and share a joke after their gamesmanship earlier.
    • 45+4 Milito is having a go at Nocerino after a challenge on Robinho from Alvarez. Now Van Bommel is involved.
    • 45+3 Nocerino and Zanetti are booked for some nonsense in the middle of the park.
    • 45+2 Milan on the move now but Maicon flicks it away from Ibra and Lucio clears.
    • 45+1 Cambiasso leaves Ibra in a heap with a nice late tackle to punish him for scoring against his ex. No card.
    • 45' Well how about that for controversy - not even close to being a penalty, but Milan are level!
    • 44' GOAL MILAN! He doesn't celebrate but has a chat to his old made Cesar after slipping it bottom left.
    • 43' Cesar is off the pitch as Ibra prepares to take it, he goes over to Ibra to have a word and sticks his tongue out too - he needs to be careful, he's been booked!
    • 42' But hang on, the ref gives a penalty! What for? Handball when the Ibra shot was blocked? NO! He's booked Cesar! He says it was a foul - nowhere near, he knocked the ball away at 90 degrees!!

    • 16' Zanetti finds Maicon, decent cross by Abate heads clear. Inter come again, Milan really struggling!
    • 15' Deary me. Terrible defending from Milan, not close to holding a line or stepping up in unison - Nesta horribly at fault - and a few minutes after Ibra missed a sitter, Inter are in front. Now Guarin has a chance from the edge of the box and he smashes it just wide!!
    • 14' Free-kick Inter around 35 yards out, Schneijder to send it in... Brilliant ball to the far post, Milan all at sea and Samuel knocks it across goal for MILITO WITH AN EASY FINISH! GOAL INTER!
    • 13' That was a poor finish from Ibrahimovic. Robinho's pass was inch-perfect, rising over the defender and dipping for a volleyed tap-in. Meanwhile, Schneijder goes down theatrically after minimal contact from Bonera.

    • 11' Nagatomo puts a long-range shot straight at Abbiati. Milan counter with Abate on the right. Now Boateng finds Robinho, in and out of Maicon, now Boateng again but his shot is blocked by Samuel.
    • 10' A wild effort high and wide from Muntari. Milan will be aware that Juve have scored and must push for a win; Inter also have to win this, if their faint hopes of a Champions League place are to stay alive, and also to qualify for the Europa League.
    • 9' Van Bommel wins a free-kick and Milan can try to build an attack. Been mostly Inter so far.
    • 8' Meanwhile, Maicon surges forward but can't get past Bonera.

  1. Arsenal have not drawn 12 games this season! I meant­ when they were "invincible" back in the­ 2003-2004 season. They drew 12 games then. You said­ Juventus park the bus? They don't though 65 goals­ scored this season to Arsenals 73 goals in the­ 2003-2004 season. So if we are going on your basis that­ Juventus park the bus then Arsenal must have done the­ same in the 2003-2004 season because from what I see­ there records are almost identical. Goals scored, goals­ against, points etc. You need to give them more credit­ than what your giving them that is all I am saying. To­ go a whole season undefeated is some feat particulary­ in a competitive league such as the serie A. Of course­ they aren't unbeaten yet 1 game left.

  2. Gareth , I'm glad you enjoy watching Serie A . I­ don't . Although I am NOT an Arsenal fan , I­ don't think the Gunners have intentionally drawn 12­ games for the simple reason that they can't play­ defense . Watching Serie A would give you the­ impression that some teams play not to lose . I agree­ with you about Chelsea parking the bus against­ Barçelona . It is not only Chelsea but EVERY PL club,­ with the exception of Arsenal and EVERY club coached by­ Jose Mourinho does the same thing when they face­ Barçelona : they park the bus !!

  3. LeRoy, serious bus parking, really? Serious bus parking­ is what happened when Chelsea played Barcelona. So they­ have drawn 15 games big deal. Arsenal drew 12 games­ back in there "invincible season". So does­ that mean they parked the bus? No, it doesn't what­ it means is they turned losses into draws. They found­ something when they were playing badly to draw the­ game.

  4. When is Serie A going to enforce the OFFSIDE rule ? ­ Every time , I watch highlights from that league ,­ I'm shocked at the high number of goals scored from­ blatant offside positions . Don't take my word ,­ just watch some Serie A highlights . BTW , Juventus­ won the league without losing a single game however ,­ the new champions drew 15 of their matches : serious­ bus parking if you ask me !!

Used to love it back in the 90s­ when it was by far the best league in the World. Infact­ take any league from any period of time and put it­ against Italian football from the 90s and it would be­ no match up. Zidane, Batitstuta, Nedved, Baresi,­ Gullit, Van Basten, Rui Costa, Veron, Ronaldo,­ Cannavaro, Maldini, Buffon, Thuram, Zola, Mancini etc­ etc. The list goes on and on. It would wipe the floor­ with any league, end of story.
