    • 45+3' And there's the half-time whistle. Disappointing half in the rain, Vidal's penalty miss the sole noteworthy occurence. Will that change in the second 45? Send over your predictions
    • 45+1' Asamoah is caught offside.
    • 45' Three minutes of time to be added on at the end of the half.
    • 43' With a disjointed first half drawing to a close, really makes you wonder if the game would flow a little better had that penalty broken the deadlock after all.
    • 42' Giovinco cuts inside three defenders and fires another shot on target, which is caught by Mirante.
    • 40' Just five shots from Juve to Parma's one so far. Juve two on target to Parma's one.
    • 39' Juve have it awya and soon get a decision of their own as Rosi fouls Asamoah.
    • 38' Bonucci fells Biabiany and Parma have a free-kick on the left-hand side.
    • 36' Delightful play from Vucinic sees the forward advance from midfield via a pair of give-and-gos before placing an effort wide of the far post.
    • 35' Some would call that justice. Lichtsteiner certainly made the most of that even though there was contact, and was offside in the build-up anyway.
    • 34' Vidal steps up to the spot.... Mirante saves the penalty!
    • 33' Replays show it's contentious. Mirante does catch Lichtsteiner, but the Swiss player was offside in the passage of play. The goalkeeper is booked nonetheless.
    • 32' Lichtsteiner looks to prey on a loose ball in the Parma box! Penalty Juve!
    • 30' Driven early ball from the left by Asamoah finds Vucinic... but the striker is unaware of this, and the ball bounces off his calf.
    • 29' Another Juve attack falls short but this time the Parma counter is well anticipated and Bonucci cleans up.
    • 28' Vucinic runs too early and is flagged off for Pirlo's diagonal.
    • 26' Parma continue to look good in possession after weathering that brief spell of pressure by the champs.
    • 25' Another error in possession from the hosts allows Biabiany to burst down the left once more and fire in a low cross for Parolo, who is cut off by the defence.
    • 24' Acquah brings down Pirlo with a shoulder check and rightly sees yellow. Pirlo still feeling the effects of that one.
    • 22' Vucinic almost gets to a deep cross from the right before Mirante, but the keeper does well.
    • 21' Pabon the next player to get treatment for a rough bump. No real flow to this match early on.
    • 20' Buffon watches from the stands. Another big link between these two clubs.
    • 18' Pirlo delivers the set piece from the left flank and it flashes over the bar.
    • 17' Now Asamoah's tripped by Paletta and the defender is lucky to escape a booking.
    • 16' Silly shove by Acquah on Asamoah leads to a Juve free-kick inside the centre circle.
    • 15' Gobbi's through! Offside flag is up. It was Pabon's attempt which was deflected into Gobbi's path initially.
    • 14' Now Parma win their third corner of the match, and it's another awkward delivery for the defence to cope with. That they do, however, before Giovinco is outnumbered whilst trying to break away solo.
    • 13' Parolo with a free-header from the corner! Puts it over. Should have done better.
    • 12' More good movement from the away side on the counter and Biabiany crosses low from the left, forcing Barzagli to concede a corner to prevent Pabon from connecting.
    • 11' Juventus whip a free-kick into the Parma box through Pirlo, and after Mirante makes a catch, the referee books Giovinco for what he deems as a dive.
    • 10' Giovinco, formerly of Parma, fails to find a team-mate with a decent ball in from the left.
    • 9' Brief spell of treatment and once again we resume.
    • 8' Not for long, however - Marchisio is down in the box after colliding in the air at the corner with his man.
    • 7' It's Biabiany who meets the corner, but his header is wide. So wide in fact that it remains in play where Parma look to keep the pressure on.
    • 6' Biabiany's pace causes trouble for the Juve back line and leads to the first corner of the game. Good start from the visitors.
    • 5' Bonucci gives away possession and Pabon has a shot on target, albeit one which Storari sees the whole way.
    • 4' That challenge earns Biabiany a yellow card early in the match.
    • 3' Play halts soon after as Vidal stays down after a late challenge from Biabiany.
    • 2' Parolo whips in an early delivery from the left but Juve head it away.
    • 1' The first half is underway. Serie A is back!
    • 19:45 It looks like we are fine to kick-off as scheduled. The pitch is soaked but the teams have emerged from the tunnel on time.
    • 19:40 TEAMS - Juventus: Storari, Barzagli, Marrone, Bonucci, Lichtsteiner, Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah, Giovinco, Vucinic. Subs: Leali, Branescu, Chiellini, Masi, Pogba, De Ceglie, Boakye, Padoin, Giaccherini, Quagliarella, Matri. /// Parma: Mirante; Zaccardo, Paletta, Lucarelli; Rosi, Acquah, Valdes, Parolo, Gobbi; Biabiany, Pabon. Subs: Pavarini, Bajza, Benalouane, Fideleff, Modesto, Morrone, Musacci, Ninis, Belfodil, Pellè.
    • 19:35 The latest on the match is that a thunderstorm in the area could lead to a delay or even abandonment. We will keep you posted and planned team news will follow. In the meantime, the Italian season did get underway hours ago without a hitch, with Jovetic scoring late to give Fiorentina a home win over Udinese. Matchcast

  2. I don't get why people always accuse a team being cheating when they always win. The same goes to Barcelona. They won because they played well, instead too well. Also in Juve-Parma: Juve goals are valid and obviously opponent just can't get through Juve defenders, that's it.
