    • 90+5 Cagliari hoist one last hopeful punt forward but it is headed clear by Ciani as the referee blows his whistle. Lazio come from behind to secure the win.
    • 90+3 Nene draws a foul in a decent looking area to the left of the D and about twenty five yards out. Conti with the shot but it hits the wall. That will probably be that.
    • 90+1 Five minutes of added time.
    • 90' The hosts will easily see this one out now - it is a keep ball exercise. The two sending offs were both wholly unnecessary.
    • 89' It appears as though Agazzi was given a yellow for the challenge and then another for dissent, while Cossu was given the red for foul and abusive language.
    • 87' Cossu was also given his marching orders in the melee surrounding the penalty.
    • 86' GOOOOAL!! Candreva makes no mistake from the spot. 2-1. And it is harsh.
    • 84' Avramov replaces Ibarbo.
    • 82' Klose latches on to a ball over the top and lifts the ball over Agazzi just inside the box. The keeper cleans out the German international as the ball drops on the roof of the net. The referee points to the spot and red cards Agazzi.
    • 81' Expecting a grandstand finish now. Lazio seem to be targeting the Cagliari right.
    • 80' Biava with the assist there. A good stooping header to keep the ball alive.
    • 79' GOOOAL!! Konko levels things up at the far post for the hosts. He was first to react to a flicked header and slides the ball past Agazzi from close range.
    • 77' Agazzi makes a tremendous save and not for the first time to turn a Candreva shot round the post for a corner.
    • 75' Nenê comes on for the goalscorer Sau.
    • 75' Ciani for Dias and and Floccari for Ledesma.
    • 74' Fantastic challenge from Nainggolan. Mauri reversed a ball to Hernanes, who in turn helped it on to Candreva in the right channel bearing down on Agazzi but Nainggolan had made up some great ground to slide in and clear.
    • 73' Candreva shapes to shoot from distance but he can’t get the required power and Agazzi claims with ease.
    • 72' Having let the ball run across his body, Nainggolan is harshly adjudged to have fouled Radu but the visitors, buoyed by the lead, are offering much more of a threat this half.
    • 71' Ibarbo, who has been superb, turns Dias twice in succession before drawing a foul and, in doing so, alleviates some pressure on the visiting defence.
    • 70' We have a slight hiatus for an injury to Candreva.
    • 66' Candreva came on for González in the wake of that goal.
    • 64' Lazio have been dominant but have been punished for some profligacy.
    • 62' GOOOAL!! Sucker punch from the men from Sardinia. Sau holds the ball up well and finds Danilo Avelar just inside the Lazio half. The defender has time and space to measure a return pass to Sau, who turns smartly as he receives the ball before evading the challenge of Dias on the edge of the box and firing past Marchetti into the bottom corner.
    • 60' Ibarbo looks to get in behind but he goes a fraction too soon and the assistant referee’s flag is aloft.
    • 58' Hernanes is first to a loose ball in midfield before he shows good feet and strength to get into the box but, with little support, he is ushered off the ball by a gaggle of defenders.
    • 56' Dessena, who has been booked, is replaced by Cossu.
    • 54' Ibarbo needs some support if the visitors are going to get anything from this game.
    • 52' Lazio are dominant here. Mauri's cross fails to beat the first man and there's no excuse there - he was in a fair bit of space.
    • 50' Big, big chance at the far post - a Mauri corner takes a nick off a Cagliari head at the near post. The slight touch takes it out of the reach of Biava at the back post who just can't stoop far enough and the ball flies past him before coming off the far post and out. Del Fabro with the defensive header.
    • 48' Early reducer by Dessena on Hernanes and he is in the book.
    • 46' We're back underway at the Stadio Olimpico - there doesn't appear to have been any changes but as soon as we get confirmation of team line-ups then I shall let you know.
    • 45+1 And that’s it from the first half.
    • 45' Conti is over the kick but he strikes the wall.
    • 44' Dias is the wrong side of Sau and drags him down with the forward driving towards the box. That’s the first yellow of the game but he is lucky there was cover.
    • 44' Konko lifts a decent ball into the box and Mauri out jumps Del Fabro but can only head wide.
    • 42' Lazio will be at a loss as to why they are not in the lead here.
    • 40' Cagliari have played well but they have the look of a side that will implode any minute – they mix some excellent play with the odd kamikaze pass.
    • 38' Hernanes really coming to the fore now. He picks out the run of Klose, who takes the pass expertly on his thigh as he bursts past a meandering back four before rounding Agazzi. The keeper does well to push him wide and the German, slightly off balance, scuffs his effort wide with two Cagliari defenders in attendance.
    • 36' Conti with a risky, risky switch of play that just evades a Lazio player to sail out of play for a throw. The throw is worked to Hernanes, who turns quickly before working Agazzi from distance with a dipping effort.
    • 34' Sau, who has been sudued thus far, looks to get in behind the Biancoceleste back four but he had gone a fraction too soon.
    • 32' Mauri is found in behind the visiting defence, he holds the ball up down near the six-yard box before playing the ball diagonally across the box to Lulic, who takes a touch before drawing a fine save from Agazzi. Good chance.
    • 30' Conti is late on Hernanes now in the middle of midfield – Lazio free-kick but the referee needs to take action soon.
    • 29' Rossettini is very, very late on Hernanes and the hosts have a free-kick down the Lazio right. It is swung over by Hernanes but a visiting head rises to clear.
    • 27' Cagliari look more solid all of a sudden – they hold their two lines of four well before stealing the ball and breaking. Nainggolan dallies though and Lazio move forward.
    • 25' Mauri is picking up little pockets of space and the Cagliari midfield needs to get closer to him. This time, they re-group well to force their hosts back to their back four.
    • 23' Ibarbo, who has been bright, is fed the ball, he holds off a challenge before turning and lashing an effort high and wide.
    • 21' Klose. What a predator. Mauri finds him inside the box, he holds off the challenge of Rossettini and manages to toe-poke an effort towards goal with Agazzi advancing. It is an instinctive effort and looks to have the beating of the keeper who manages to throw out a hand to save with the ball almost past him.
    • 19' Omni-shambles at the back for the hosts. Nainggolan somehow contrives to miss – or at least allow Marchetti to save at his feet – following a galloping run from Ibarbo. What a chance. He was inside the six-yard box - and has to do better there.
    • 17' Hernanes strikes the crossbar from the free-kick with Agazzi beaten. What a strike.
    • 16' Klose's run is brought to a shuddering halt by a pretty robust challenge from Perico. Free-kick 30 yards out and to the left of goal as Hernanes looks at it.
    • 14' Klose looks for Lulić in behind but the latter fails to read the former’s intentions and the through ball – which had perfect weight on it – ends up trickling out of play.
    • 12' Conti fires the ball across the Lazio box but there is no one there to capitalise. The hosts break at pace but the move breaks down on the edge of the box. Lulić picks up the loose ball but elects to try to lob Agazzi but the ball sails over.
    • 10' Bit scrappy out there at the moment as the teams exchange errant passes.
    • 9' Ekdal intercepts a loose ball and leads a break from midfield but with Ibarbo in space down the right the returning midfielder picks the wrong pass and Lazio clear.
    • 7' Agazzi has to be alert to come off his line and claim a Mauri cross from the left.
    • 5' From our friends at Opta: Lazio and Cagliari haven’t shared the points over their last 11 Serie A meetings, with Lazio leading by seven wins to four.
    • 3' Konko makes some decent ground down the right and wins a corner – bright start from the hosts.
    • 1' We're underway - Lazio kick us off.
    • 19:40 Great atmosphere in the Eternal City - we're moments from kick-off.
    • 19:35 Teams: Lazio: Marchetti, Biava, Konko, A. Dias, Radu, Mauri, Ledesma, Hernanes, Á. González, Lulić, Klose. Scaloni, Floccari, Cana, Ciani, Diakité, Carrizo, Candreva, Kozák, Bizzarri, Brocchi, Cavanda, Rozzi. /// Cagliari: Agazzi, Perico, Rossettini, Danilo Avelar, Del Fabro, Conti, Dessena, Nainggolan, Ekdal, Ibarbo, Sau. Subs: Avramov, Cossu, Eriksson, Casarini, Camilleri, Ribeiro, Ibarbo, Cepellini, Murru.
    • 19:30 The Sardinians, just a point off the bottom three, made the trip onto the mainland without the injured duo Mauricio Pinilla and Lorenzo Ariaudo, or Davide Astori and Francesco Pisano, who are serving suspensions.
    • 19:25 Lazio are still without Mauro Zarate following his refusal to sit on the bench last month in a Europa League game, but the only injury concern for the Biancocelesti is Brazilian Ederson as they look to continue their pre winter break form.
    • 19:20 A win for second-placed Lazio would move them four points clear of Fiorentina and Inter, and cut Juventus’ advantage at the top of Serie A to five points with the other main protagonists of the 2012-13 Scudetto race playing on Sunday.
    • 19:15 Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage from Serie A where Lazio welcome Cagliari to the Stadio Olimpico.
