    • 89' Drama. Last minute penalty. Naismith is up ended in the box and Boyd steps up.
    • 88' Boyd for Miller.
    • 87' McGregor can't hold onto Santana's effort and Bougherra clears the follow up. That could have been a cruel blow
    • 86' Santana is offside whilst looking across the line. Awful.
    • 84' Black drags wide.
    • 82' Card for McCulloch.
    • 80' Almost an own goal for Goncalves - good save.
    • 77' Stevie Smith hits the target from a free-kick - comfortable save.
    • 76' Rangers on top here, unbelievably so.
    • 74' Miller now has a penalty claim waved away. He gets a corner instead.
    • 72' Hearts have a penalty claim turned down. Bougherra needs to be careful there
    • 70' Kris Boyd warms up.
    • 69' Rangers continue to look for that elusive winner - a set piece appears their most likely avenue.
    • 67' This is a really open one now.
    • 66' Ian Black thunders an effort against the bar.
    • 64' Rangers are really pushing for victory now.
    • 62' Rangers level through McCulloch. Sub Stevie Smith swings over an inviting free-kick and McCulloch glances it home.

    • 46' We're back for the second half.
    • 45+2 Half time.
    • 45+1 McCulloch can't keep his effort down and that looks to be the last effort of the first half.

    • 44' Fleck whips in the resulting corner but it is cleared.
    • 43' Bougherra whips in a wonderful cross between defender and keeper, but it's just too far ahead of Miller and Jonsson manages to clear.
    • 41' That sums up Rangers' first half. Davis plays the ball straight out of play, while looking for Miller.
    • 39' Bougherra takes out Glen and Rangers have completely lost their composure here.
    • 38' Hearts continue to press high up the pitch and force Rangers to go long, which yields very little.
    • 37' Naismith loses the ball in midfield but Sub Gary Glen drags his effort wide.
    • 36' The Gers need to make it to half-time only a goal down and then they can regroup. They look shell-shocked.
    • 34' Rangers are all over the place - Whittaker concedes a free-kick just outside the area.
    • 33' Nade is immediately subbed for Gary Glen - no injury there, that's a disciplinary issue.
    • 31' GOAL. Poor keeping by McGregor. Christian Nade lays off to David Witteveen and his tame effort somehow squirms through McGregor's grasp from just inside the 18 yards box.
    • 30' Rangers need to show more patience, here. If they continue to go long Kenny Miller will remain isolated.
    • 28' Nade, having just been warned, bundles into David Weir and is duly booked.

    • 25' Foul by Nade on Whittaker.
    • 24' Bougherra makes a hash of trying to see the ball out of play and Santana capitalises to trash the ball against the post. So close.
    • 22' If Hearts are to win this game they need to be a little more creative.
    • 21' Naismith is seeing a lot of the ball but he is being quite wasteful.
    • 20' Despite being a man down Rangers are having the better of this game.
    • 19' Kenny Miller claims a penalty, but it is waved away. Fair shout!
    • 17' Hearts win a corner. Bougherra claims a foul, nothing doing.
    • 16' It is Rangers who break but Naismith wastes possession.
    • 14' Can Hearts take advantage of their numerical advantage to kick start their season?
    • 13' Thomson marks his first start since last November with a well deserved red card. Shocking.
    • 12' Horrendous challenge by Steven Thompson on Ian Black.
    • 11' Hearts pressure Rangers high up the field and Obua throws in a wonderful cross, Papac sees off the danger.
    • 9' Rangers move forward with ease but the ball drifts out of play by the by-line.
    • 7' Fleck is the stand out player so far but he is dispossessed, Hearts break and Black has his effort saved.
    • 5' Fleck plays in Miller, but Miller is eased out of it. And in his eagerness to retrieve the ball Fleck commits a silly foul.
    • 3' Suso puts in a robust challenge that Kenny Miller takes exception to. And both players are booked.
    • 2' Hearts have an early free-kick. Poor delivery.
    • 1 The Old Firm often find a trip to Edinburgh a little testing and Hearts start on the front foot.
    • 12:45 Right we're off.

  16. #149 It would have been fitting if Miller had still been on the park to take the penalty though; I've never really been one of his fans, but he put in a fair old shift today. I thought McGregor had blown it for you though, but he certainly woke up and had a couple of exc. saves. You must still be nervous about the amount of space they give away in the middle of the park though because they defend so deeply; that could cost them.
