    • Rangers
    • - The title race remains wide open, while St Mirren remain seven points clear of Hamilton in the relegation spot. Table
    • 90+3' Indeed it is - the final whistle sounds to see Rangers to a 1-0 win.
    • 90+3' Mooy runs out of pitch in the corner and that may be that as far as St Mirren's chances of an equaliser are concerned.
    • 90+2' The second minute of three to be added on passes with Rangers still holding firm at the back...
    • 90+1' Van Zanten waltzes in from the right and cracks a low one across goal! A boot there and it could have been the equaliser!
    • 90' St Mirren change: Aaron Mooy on for McLean.
    • 89' McLean delivers from the left and the head of Bougherra concedes a corner.
    • 88' The home crowd shout their men on. Rangers back in numbers to defend their one-goal lead.
    • 86' Davis looks for goal, but it is over the bar as Rangers seek a cushion.
    • 85' Time running out for St Mirren as McLean miscontrols to give Gers a throw-in.
    • 84' Wylde forces a corner at the byline. Diouf takes the corner and doesn't beat the man at the near post. He has another go - and again doesn't beat the man at the near post.
    • 83' Travner beats his man on the outside and his ball across is headed away by Weir.
    • 81' McGowan wins a free-kick off Whittaker. Potter directs it long, straight to a pair of blue shirts.
    • 80' St Mirren change: Craig Dargo on for Goodwin. Attacking move.
    • 80' Wylde's low kick is into the wall.
    • 79' Diouf tries to break through again and is felled by Hugh Murray. Great position for a free-kick.
    • 78' Jim Goodwin with a dipping shot on the half-volley from 30 yards which the Rangers keeper does well to stop and claim.
    • 76' McGregor boots clear under pressure. A nervy finish in prospect for the champions.
    • 75' McLean delivers a free-kick that is headed away. The final balls in this match have been poor.
    • 73' Davis bombs on and plays in Edu... surely now... he drags his shot from the left wide of the far post!
    • 73' Gers changes: Gregg Wylde and Kyle Hutton on for Healy and Fleck.
    • 72' Diouf brings the ball forward and, looking to pass Travner, is smacked to the floor. Yellow card to the St Mirren man.
    • 71' The left-footed kick from the right is easily claimed by Gallacher.
    • 70' Rangers have men preparing to come on. Healy turns quickly and earns a free-kick. Fleck to bend it in.
    • 69' The Scottish champions are not really an attacking force in this one, and their strikers are becoming frustrated.
    • 68' There's been a second goal at Anfield amid shocking defending. Liverpool v Manchester United: LIVE
    • 67' St Mirren keeping the ball around halfway well.
    • 65' Higdon tries for a Beckham-esque diagonal ball, cut out by the chest of Fleck.
    • 64' St Mirren growing in confidence and with a good ball in could steal a point from this game.
    • 63' Diouf again tackled in the St Mirren half. He's been appalling! At the other end McLean is seemingly pushed over by Bartley just outside the corner of the box, but no free-kick is awarded. It would have been a soft award.
    • 62' There's been a fabulous goal at Anfield - find out who scored it! Liverpool v Manchester United: LIVE
    • 61' Travner released down the left and crosses too close to McGregor.
    • 60' Bartley in smartly to put the ball out as St Mirren look to enter the Gers half.
    • 59' McLean does indeed cross this time, and there is a period of head tennis before Edu smacks the ball into the studs of an opponent and the ball flies a yard wide!
    • 58' Foster hauls down a St Mirren midfielder to give them a great chance to cross.
    • 57' Diouf again looking to beat a man for seemingly no reason near halfway - and tackled.
    • 56' Foster keeps the ball in play in the home box but Edu is undecisive when the chance to shoot arrives.
    • 55' McLean whips it high and wide when he would have been better served crossing for a team-mate.
    • 54' Veteran David Weir with an uncharacteristically needless foul to give St Mirren the chance to hoist the ball into the danger area.
    • 53' Healy wins a corner for the away side. Edu is all alone in the middle but his swing is wild and he slices the ball over.
    • 52' Diouf breaks inside and looks to play Fleck down the channel; cleared for a Rangers throw.
    • 50' McGowan volleys on the far side of the box, well over the bar.
    • 49' McGowan near the corner flag believes he's got a corner, but the linesman awards a goal-kick... the fans are furious and he is overruled by the ref. On the basis of one replay, it looked like he spooned it out and it was a Rangers ball.
    • 48' Fleck overruns the ball and St Mirren come away with it.
    • 47' No changes at the break.
    • 46' The second half underway, with Rangers attacking the goal to our left now.
    • 45' St Mirren throw the ball forward in the dying seconds, but the half-time whistle sounds without a hint of injury time. 1-0 to Rangers, but a scrappy performance so far.
    • 44' Foster wins a throw off the shins of a defender on the right. From it Diouf threatens to spins away from three defenders before losing control of the ball.
    • 43' Van Zanten feeds a man down the right and the low cross causes minor chaos at the back for Rangers. They hack clear.
    • 42' Diouf swearing with the smile after being ruled offside. He's been poor in this half and knows it.
    • 41' McGowan has a shocking shot from distance fly well wide. Sliced it.
    • 40' Travner wins a throw this time as they try and work a position. Rangers defender Richard Foster then slips and accidentally kicks the ball out for a corner!
    • 39' Jure Travner crosses from deep, headed away.
    • 38' Better football from the Buddies, but not really getting out of their own half. Their best avenue for attack is down the flanks.
    • 36' Territorial ball for the Blues with little end product again. Those injuries have hit them hard.
    • 35' Rangers have the upper hand on Celtic in the European Power Rankings. But it's close. Euro Index
    • 34' St Mirren have done their job so far, despite losing a goal. With a few more decent balls into the box and tight defending, they can get back into this match.
    • 33' Gers striker Edu has been ineffective in terms of not getting on the ball. Here he shakes his head after being flagged for offside.
    • 32' Wasted ball from Whittaker as he looks for Diouf on the shoulder of the centre-half.
    • 31' Gallacher races out of his goal to punch clear under pressure - and collides with one of his defenders! Diouf cannot get the ball back in and loses out to an opponent in the tackle.
    • 30' McLean arriving at the back post to volley over for St Mirren! He was unmarked: I'm sure Smith will have something to say about that at half-time.
    • 29' Again, he is slow to react to a ball to his feet. Maybe he should have the benefit of the doubt with that one as if it had come all the way through, he would have been free on the left.
    • 28' Diouf loses the ball again! He lost control to put St Mirren on the counter. What is he playing at?
    • 27' The striker, playing quite deep at times with Healy and Maurice Edu also in attack, is okay to carry on.
    • 26' And here the Senegalese draws a foul from Hugh Murray on halfway. It would just be easier to pass the ball... he's too greedy.
    • 25' Good contribution from Diouf - everything else he has done has been crap, frankly.
    • 24' GOAL FOR RANGERS!!!! Kyle Bartley! Diouf's quick throw found runner Bougherra and when the ball was lobbed over, the defender arrived to finish from close in.
    • 23' Diouf looking to get past David van Zanten, but can only win a throw-in.
    • 22' Steven Whittaker goes down easily to win a free-kick for Rangers. Steven Davis takes it... arrowing for the near-post top corner, Gallacher just gets there to palm over!
    • 21' Lee Mair meets the set-piece but it is cleared off the line by Fleck and the rebound is hopelessly wide.
    • 20' Allan McGregor, falling back, reaches up to claw a deep cross out for a corner. All St Mirren suddenly.
    • 19' The ball in is hacked away at the back post as far as Diouf, who takes too long with it on the edge of the box but wins a lucky free-kick off Steven Thomson.
    • 18' As I write that McLean is found in space on the left and sends in a good cross which Madjid Bougherra puts behind for a corner.
    • 17' Little evidence of this so far. Buddies to attack Rangers
    • 16' Neat passing in the middle of the park from Rangers, not getting them very far at present. Patience is key.
    • 15' Gers legend Terry Butcher went from lambasting his players to lavishing praise upon them as Inverness beat Motherwell 3-0 to move back into the top six. Butcher hails Caley as 'savaging' does trick
    • 14' Fleck, nephew of former Gers and Norwick striker Robert, swings in a ball that one of the big lads at the back for The Buddies heads clear.
    • 13' Higdon with the ball at his feet, feeding Kenny McLean on the left. His pass is a waste for St Mirren and the fans groan.
    • 12' Kick-off approaching - it is at 13:30 - in the rabid North West derby that is Liverpool v Manchester United. Why not follow both matches? Follow Reds v United LIVE
    • 11' Diouf drops deep to pick up and runs into trouble on halfway. St Mirren on the attack... Michael Higdon on the end of the cross, but his volley across is poor and the away side clear.
    • 10' All Rangers so far, as you might expect looking at the league table.
    • 9' Paul McGowan penalised for a foul as St Mirren bring the ball away following the tackle, which looked fair.
    • 8' Healy found 25 yards out and shoots low, forcing Paul Gallacher into a save. The flag was up - incorrectly, as he was level.
    • 7' Rangers have won four of their last five league games, but the loss was to Celtic. SPL results/fixtures
    • 6' El-Hadji Diouf up front for the visitors today. Tackled here as he receives the bakk into feet, but fairly.
    • 5' Richard Foster finds Healy on the right who sends in a dangerous low ball, cleared to safety by the home side.
    • 4' The ball into the St Mirren box does not beat the second defender.
    • 3' David Healy fouled on the right touchline to give John Fleck a chance to cross with his left foot.
    • 2' Walter Smith sitting in the stands in this opening 45 minutes. He will hand over the reigns to McCoist at the end of the season.
    • 1' Rangers in traditional blue, white and black kicking from left to right in this first half, with St Mirren in black and white stripes.
    • 12:44 The teams emerge. Another Lennon in the dugout for Rangers assistant boss Ally McCoist to have a chat with this afternoon - Danny Lennon.
    • 12:40 Five minutes from kick-off in this one - the season getting down to the nitty-gritty. Gers need wins while St Mirren should be safe but could yet be dragged into a relegation dogfight with Hamilton.
    • 12:35 Police have launched an investigation into the events surrounding last Wednesday's chaotic Old Firm match. Police probe Old Firm clash
    • 12:34 Paul McGowan returns from suspension for St Mirren to start while Lee Mair also plays following an illness. David Barron (calf) and Paul McQuade (hamstring) are still out while Gareth Wardlaw and Nick Hegarty are just off returning from ankle injuries.
