    • 90+2' Craig Thompson blows the final whistle to end a game that turned into a comprehensive win for Ally McCoist's young team. A top class finish by Kyle Lafferty was the highlight in a game where Motherwell flattered to deceive with a nice passing game but they were unable to turn it into goals. They're early season unbeaten run has been ended and Rangers' go level on points with Celtic for the time being. Thanks for joining us.

    • 55' Juanma Ortiz can't find Jelavic in the box and the Motherwell counter attack ends when McMillan beats Higdon to the ball. Fir Park cries for a foul but the referee was happy with the challenge.
    • 54' The second half is looking similar to the first, in that Motherwell's passing game is not penetrating the Rangers' defence, who are waiting to counter attack quickly.
    • 52' Humphrey now takes on Wallace down the right but he overruns the ball and it goes out for a goal kick.

    • 36' Wydles corner is met powerfully by Jelavic but his header narrowly clears the crossbar. That should have been a goal.
    • 35' The free kick that follows is wasted and Rangers break on to the Motherwell area with Lafferty who squares to Naismith and his shot is blocked but goes for a corner.
    • 34' McMillian gets a telling off after he disagrees with referee Craig Thompson a littel too forcefully.
    • 33' Good pressure by Motherwell around the Rangers' area and Nicky Law hits a good shot. It's hard but straight at McGregor once again.
    • 32' The corner is taken by Humphrey but Rangers' have been dealing with them well since the first minute wobble.

    • 30' Higdon picks up the ball just inside the area but his shot is tame and McGregor gathers easily.

    • 27' Wylde loses the ball again on the right - he is having trouble retaining posession and Motherwell are able to get forward again.
    • 25' Motherwell are looking shocked after conceding their first goal in a while and a Steve Jennings cross flies towards Higdon, who falls in a heap with Jordan McMillian but the referee waves away his penalty claims.
    • 24' Replays show Ally McCoist looking in seventh heaven after that goal. His back room getting a good hugging.
    • 23' There's a bit of a lull after the goal as Motherwell look to regroup.
    • 22' Juanma Ortiz lofts a cross to the back post but it too high for Lafferty, who then proceeds to crash into the advertising boards.

    • 19' GOAL! The Glasgow side break the deadlock! Steven Davis' corner curls into the six yard box and is met by Jelavic. The goal is credited to Naismith however, as Jelavic's header hits the Scottish international and Randolph has no chance. Naismith didn't know much about it.

    • 17' Lafferty is pulled up again, this time for a push in the back of Craigan when trying to reach Wylde's cross.

    • 14' Dorin Goian tries to calm things down by keeping the ball a second but his next pass goes straight out of play.
    • 13' A scramble in the Rangers' box but Nicky Law is unable to get a shot away as Ross Perry clears.

    • 4' It's a hectic start and the ball breaks to Steven Naismith 30 yards out but his square to Gregg Wylde is wasted when the young winger smashes straight into a covering defender.

    • 2' Motherwell fly out of the blocks abnd win a corner down the left. Allan McGregor is forced to make an early save from the incoming corner and Rangers maange to scramble it away.

    • 14:10 Ally McCoist has given kept faith with Steven Naismith after substituting him against Maribor, through fear of him seeing red: "It was to keep him on the park. I thought there was a distinct chance that Naismith could have been sent off. We did have one or two options but Lafferty has looked good in training and was keen to get back playing. Towards the end of last season he was one of the key players. It's still early for him and he will come good."
    • 14:05 Rangers will be overwhelming favourite going into the match but it reains to be seen if their Europa League travels has affected the squad.
