- 21' McCulloch leaps to challenge Sporting goalkeeper Rui Patricio in the air and he drops the ball... the ref gives a foul, but no card for the challenge.
- 20' Izmailov catches Ferguson late in midfield and is shown a yellow card.
- 18' Jean-Claude Darcheville breaks free on the right, he has men in the middle... he tries to pull it back but the ball is defended and Rangers only have a corner!
