    • England
    • Andorra
    • 90' The announcer names Glen Johnson as man-of-the-match for his involvement in four of the goals. Defoe heads over from close range, and the final whistle goes, a 6-0 win for England who have won seven out of seven, scored 26 and conceded four.
    • 88' A nice touch as the retiring Koldo is given a round of applause by the England fans and there are handshakes all round as Jose Antonio comes on in the veteran keeper's place.
    • 83' England are playing keep ball. It is a shame for Koldo that he has conceded six - he has easily been Andorra's best player tonight.
    • 80' Crouch with a flick wide to Defoe who races towards goal and tries a shot, it's blocked and Andorra's defenders try to shepherd it back to Koldo but they made a sow's ear of it and it bounces off Crouch's foot and past the stricken keeper. 6-0.
    • 79' ANDORRA SUB: Fernandez, a defender, on for lone striker Silva. Ugh.
    • 78' Walcott is free on the right and he drills it low FOR CROUCH WHO MUST SCORE BUT THROUGH HIS LEGS AND AWAY! How has Crouch not scored against these jokers?
    • 77' Beckham with a lovely crossfield pass to Walcott but his ball is too close to Koldo.
    • 76' Beckham to take this then, he swings it over the ball, Koldo spills it and Defoe with the rebound for 5-0! Two goals in three minutes for the Spurs man.
    • 75' Walcott wins a free-kick around 30 yards out, central and Beckham will take this...
    • 74' Long into the right for Walcott who sears towards the byline, just about keeps it in but the pull back is knocked behind for a corner just before Defoe can finish.
    • 73' Beckham takes a clever quick corner to Johnson on the right corner, crosses it in for Defoe and he heads it into the bottom left for 4-0.
    • 72' A poor pass by Johnson but Sonejee makes a hash of intercepting and puts it out for a corner.
    • 71' Young crosses high for Crouch but too high and away. Still with England though and there's some kind of argy bargy with Lima down on the floor holding his face, Crouch could be in trouble but the ref didn't see it. Lima made a total meal of Crouch's push in the chest.
    • 70' Johnson comes forward, short to Lampard who stands it up and puts it wide to Walcott who crosses low and Defoe must score but a good save again by Koldo! Flag was up, Defoe was just offside.
    • 69' Bridge crosses well from the left but Lima can clear with no runners moving across the six-yard box.
    • 68' England keep the ball well but the final ball in for Crouch is poor. Still with England though. Beckham is running things in the middle, no-one else is really coming close.
    • 67' Beckham with the corner and Terry rises but heads wide! He had three defenders on him. Andorra may not be great but they're big strong lads and they showed it to muscle Terry out of a goal there.
    • 66' Johnson and Walcott combine again but the cross is blocked by Garcia for a corner.
    • 65' Young with a good cross from the left which wreaks havoc, Crouch can't finish and Lampard tries a flick over the line but the flag is up for offside.
    • 64' Ildefons Lima booked.
    • 63' ENGLAND SUB: Bridge on for former Chelsea team-mate Ashley Cole.
    • 62' Walcott runs down the right and wins a corner. Taken short to Beckham who keeps the ball, into Lampard who shimmies and shoots from range, Koldo parries and Walcott can finish but it's weak and blocked by Crouch with his back to goal!
    • 61' A sustained period of England pressure but Andorra ride it through a combination of determination and sheer numbers - they are playing nine at the back.
    • 59' The free-kick is cleared, Johnson gets it and back wide to Beckham who crosses AND LESCOTT UNMARKED FAR POST BUT HE MISSES THE FINISH!
    • 58' Beckham shapes to shoot but clips a ball in for Crouch who takes it on the chest and volleys but a deflection and over!
    • 57' High ball into the box and Crouch sticks a leg out but he just misses it and Andorra survive. Beckham tries to thread it into Defoe but Lima clears.
    • 56' Young on the left swings a cross over to Defoe under pressure but he gets the header down and it bounces just wide!
    • 55' Walcott on a very direct run but a touch too direct as he takes it out for a goal kick.
    • 53' A lull in the game with Andorra playing damage limitation and England looking a touch sluggish.
    • 51' Cole tries a one-two with Young but the second ball is a touch beyond the stretching Cole. Goal kick.
    • 50' Cole on the left gets two chances at crossing but as ever his delivery is a tiny bit off and Andorra clear.
    • 49' Defoe is in on the right and he must score but he scuffs the low shot and it drags wide of the far post! The angle was tight but he had time and, as so often in an England shirt, he panicked a touch.
    • 47' ANDORRA: Toni Lima comes off for the last time, having briefly worn the captain's armband for the start of the second half. Vales on.
    • 46' Second half underway as Young turns and shoots poorly up in the air and wide.
    • 46' ENGLAND SUBS: Two half-time changes and annoying for Rooney, on a hat-trick, as he is replaced by Defoe. Ashley Young is on for Gerrard.
    • - England with 83 per cent of the ball, 15 shots on goal to Andorra's one. Nuff said.
    • 45+1 Half-time is signalled, England lead 3-0.
    • 45' One minute of added time being played...
    • 44' The corner is cleared, Lescott chased it down there's some nonsense with Crouch and an Andorra player, Lima I think, tangling, there's some afters from Andorra and Koldo is booked for dissent.
    • 43' Good ball wide to Walcott, out for a corner off Garcia.
    • 41' Beckham runs up and bends it inside the wall but Koldo gathers at the near post.
    • 40' Xavi Andorra booked for a tug back 10 yards from the D, to the left, Beckham will take the free-kick...
    • 39' Johnson crosses in and Rooney smashes it into the top right with an instinctive volley for his second and England's third. Rooney now the leading goalscorer in Europe with eight goals in seven qualifying games.
    • 38' Beckham with a superb cross towards Crouch but Ayala clears and Crouch gets a kick on the floor but England still have it...
    • 37' England passing it around calmly now... this is a chance to work on their goal difference and show the kids in the crowd some nice possession football.
    • 35' Corner to England on the left, Beckham swings it in and Lescott leaps to head but it scuffs off the side of his head and wide for a goal kick.
    • 34' Gerrard takes it in quickly, Terry can't head it on target, cleared but to Gerrard on the right again, he crosses once more and it's a corner to England off Silva.
    • 33' Johnson wins a corner on the right after his cross is blocked by Ayala.
    • 30' Silva is still getting stitched up as Andorra have a free-kick on the left which is swung low towards the England box and headed clear by Gerrard. The second ball of lofted back in and all-time Andorra leading scorer Ildefons Lima is up there but Lescott squeezes him out of it and out for a goal kick.
    • 29' Johnson hugging the right, he cuts inside and plays it straight through to Walcott who sprints past Sonarjee and hits the byline before cutting it back to Lampard who makes it 2-0 with a low drive into the bottom right.
    • 27' Silva has a head injury, blood streaming from a cut on the top, he really wants to come back on but will need treatment.
    • 26' England with 80 per cent possession so far. No surprises there then.
    • 25' Lampard wide to Johnson, he cuts inside into the box and slides it low to Rooney who spins on to his left but is still spinning when he shoots and drags it wide.
    • 24' High from Beckham into the box and Rooney and Walcott get in each other's way, out for a goal kick.
    • 23' Poor cross from Gerrard straight into Koldo's arms. Green clears for England, much to the amusement of the home fans.
    • 22' Cole is almost playing as a winger and he threatens to get a nosebleed so high up the pitch, panicking and giving it away just outside the Andorra box.
    • 21' High to Crouch on the right who traps it and flicks it over Ayala's head but fails to control the second ball.
    • 20' A low corner from Beckham, cleared away from Rooney near post and Walcott can shoot from range but he slices it well wide.
    • 19' Gerrard shoots, quite high and over but a deflection means England have a corner.
    • 15' Walcott and Johnson interchange, back to Johnson, in to Gerrard who steps over it and Rooney with a reverse pass to Gerrard running through but he slips as he shoots and spoons it up in the air.
    • 14' Lampard and Gerrard play a one-two, Lampard goes down on the edge of the box but Toni Lima gets away with it and the ball is back with Koldo.
    • 13' Cole on the left can't cross it so plays it back to Gerrard, now Lampard as England play keep ball... high for Crouch, Lima heads clear but handball by Silva. England work it short and Gerrard tries to clip it through to Rooney but cleared.
    • 12' Good punch by Koldo from Beckham's corner, Becks has it again and swings a high one wide right for Walcott but too long.
    • 11' Gerrard on the left after a super Beckham crossfield pass, he cuts inside and drills a shot low at the near post but tipped around in style by Koldo, who has done really well so far in his last game for Andorra.
    • 10' Another excellent ball in from Beckham it lands for Crouch unmarked deep at the far post but he sends the header well over.
    • 9' Walcott loses out after trying to take on one defender too many. Then he is brought down by a clumsy tackle from Ayala. Silva is down pretending to be injured. Free-kick England on the right, Beckham, again...
    • 8' Gerrard and Lampard almost combine but Andorra seem to have 13 men behind the ball and manage to clear.
    • 7' Beckham swings a high one into the box but Koldo punches clear.
    • 6' England have a free-kick on the right, Beckham to take... A delay with a bit of nonsense in the area...
    • 4' Johnson in loads of space on the right, he crosses towards Rooney at the far post and Rooney heads into the ground past Koldo for 1-0 and his seventh goal in as many games.
    • 3' Johnson comes forward after the corner is cleared, he lofts it into the box and Walcott is in and he thrashes a half-volley on goal but another great save by Koldo and ROONEY ON THE LINE BUT IT BOUNCES OFF HIS HEAD, AGAINST THE BAR AND AWAY! Koldo saves Andorra again.
    • 2' Rooney with a great turn on to Gerrard's through ball and he chips it towards the top right but a great save by Koldo, tipped over for a corner!!
    • 1' Match underway at Wembley! England start by pumping it into the arms of Koldo... then Gerrard gets forward and he's in but a superb slide tackle by Ildefens Lima robs Gerrard of a clear chance to score.
    • - ANDORRA TEAM NEWS: As if anyone knows or cares, a bruising line-up of insurance salesmen and school teachers and one, solitary pro - Triestina reserves defender Ildefons Lima.
    • - ENGLAND TEAM NEWS: Joleon Lescott starts alongside John Terry and David Beckham steps in for the suspended Gareth Barry in central midfield. As expected, Theo Walcott is on the right while Peter Crouch partners Wayne Rooney, who will work the left as well as centre. Jermain Defoe, Carlton Cole, Gary Neville and Ashley Young are all on the bench.
    • - Team news ahead of tonight's game, with Theo Walcott expected to start
    • - Tony Mabert thinks that, while Andorra are a bit pants, they could provide a physical test for England.
    • - The match tonight goes ahead despite London's inability to avert or at least manage a deeply unpopular tube strike which our Jim White feels may have implications to our World Cup 2018 bid. Fortunately for fans, you can get to Wembley easily enough using the recently-developed overground system that is actually quite good. Read Jim White's article here!
