    • 90+2 Evans with a header saved by Akinfeev, Wales wanted a handball but nothing given.
    • 90' Two minutes being added.
    • 87' Ricketts almost sends a dodgy back-header past Hennessey but he gets there just ahead of Pavlyuchenko.
    • 83' As Wales try to get an equaliser, Russia can come forward and Pogbreniak is in space, found by Arshavin, Pavlyuchenko now in the box and he drives it low to the left corner but a great save by Hennessey! He has been excellent tonight, save his mistake for the penalty.
    • 81' Arshavin on the right, Davies backs off him, he ghosts past Gunter and cuts inside, lofting a great ball into the box AND ZYRYANOV MUST SCORE WITH THE HEADER BUT A BRILLIANT SAVE BY HENNESSEY BUT POGBRENIAK TUCKS AWAY THE REBOUND! 2-1 Russia, Wales did not deserve that. Poor defending from the visitors.

It breaks down but the ball is played wide right to Anikuov AND IT'S A WONDERFUL BALL, GUNTER SLIPS AND ARSHAVIN WITH THE HEADER BUT HE SOMEHOW SENDS IT OVER! Should have been 2-0.
    • 63' Wales have a corner on the left, which Akinfeev gets nowhere near, but Wales's second ball is poor and easily cleared. Davies goes down but no free-kick and Russia break but the final through-ball is poor and easy for Hennessey.
    • 62' WALES SUB: Ched Evans on for Vokes, a teenage striker swap.
    • 60' Davies on a driving run inside from the right but the shot is weak and wide. He was found by Gunter, who is getting forward much more now with Wales defending up the pitch.

    • 16' Brief respite for Wales as Bale comes forward, good run by the Spurs left-back and he gets in the box and Semshov takes him out and it's a penalty! Terrible tackle, stonewall spot-kick and Wales have the chance to go ahead!
    • 15' Russia break again, quick move down the right and Aniukov hits the byline before dropping another good centre which takes out the centre-backs but no-one can finish and Wales survive.
    • 13' Russia have men over, great one-touch play and the ball is in for Arshavin, wide right to Shemsov with the cross and PAVLYUCHENKO MUST SCORE BUT A GREAT REFLEX STOP FROM HENNESEY! And the ball drops to a Russian with a long-range effort but that's well over.
    • 11' Good move by Russia, cut inside to Pavlyuchenko who's free on the edge of the box and he lets rip but deflected and inches over with Hennessey stranded! Williams got in the way, and a good thing he did.

    • 8' Zyryanov gets in the box but runs up a blind alley, he works it out to the edge of the area and it's Torbinsky now but Damir Skomina blows the whistle, offside.
    • 6' Ignashevich fouls Bale, who was about to slip Edwards through. Free-kick Wales around 40 yards out but Russia clear.
    • 4' Zhirkov on the left, he's well forward and beats Gunter before putting in a low cross but easy for Hennessey at the near post.
