    Time:90'
    • Wales
    • Liechtenstein
    • 90+3 And that is the final whistle - Wales win 2-0 but they really should have won by far more. They go top - for now, as Germany host Russia later tonight! A win for either sees them go top.
    • 90+2 Wales come forward, looking for a third, Davies has a crack and a wonderful save by Jehle! He has been quite superb tonight.
    • 90' Three minutes of injury-time being played.
    • 89' Corner to the visitors, Wales make a pig's ear of clearing it and it falls to BUCHEL WHO MUST SCORE but he fires over!
    • 85' Koumas with a mazy dribble but he runs down a blind alley on the right. Wales will have to be a lot better against Germany.
    • 83' Evans gets the ball in his own half and runs at the Liechtenstein defence, he beats one man, a second he could be in on goal here but Bergmeier gets back well to clear.
    • 82' A big change for Wales - Craig Bellamy comes off on his return from injury to be replaced by James Collins, his first game in about a year after his own injury hell.
    • 81' Corner to Wales on the right, Koumas to take and he swings it to EVANS ON THE EDGE OF THE SIX-YARD BOX AND IT TAKES A MASSIVE DEFLECTION OFF FRICK AND IN! 2-0 to Wales, finally.
    • 80' LIECHTENSTEIN SUB: Ronnie Buchel on for Polverino.
    • 78' Edwards with a good ball down the right but Vokes's centre is poor. Bellamy is furious at getting booked after a tackle but it was late. D'Elia gets booked finally too - he's out of the Germany game.
    • 77' D'Elia drags back Bellamy when he's clean through on the left but Bellamy carries on, he pulls him back again but the ref plays an advantage. No shooting opportunity until 30 seconds later from Koumas, straight at the keeper. The ref decides to just have a word, good for him as he'd have been at least booked and missed the Germany game.
    • 75' Gunter finds Davies on the right, he cuts in and drags a low ball into the area but no Wales player is near it and the shot by Robinson is well wide. England beat Kazakhstan 5-1 in the end after a late flourish.
    • 74' Liechtenstein are losing their discipline and are in danger of having to send out my mate Dave for the Germany match - Polverino gets a booking that rules him out of that game, for a bad tackle on Koumas.
    • 73' Oh no poor Bergmeier, he idiotically talks his way into a booking and will miss the match against Germany.
    • 72' Good run again by Vokes on the right, he hits the byline and slips it to BELLAMY but D'Elia intercepts!
    • 70' Evans with a good ball to Davies in on the right and he drills it low FOR BELLAMY UNMARKED BUT A REMARKABLE SAVE FROM JEHLE! Corner to Wales.
    • 69' Evans with the flick on wide and he plays it in for Bellamy but he can't finish!
    • 66' LIECHTENSTEIN SUB: Christen on for Ritzberger.
    • 64' Good play by Gunter on the right, his cross is half-cleared and Bellamy can shoot but it's blocked. Bale gets the ball on the left and he pulls it back for Bellamy but the West Ham striker fires over!
    • 63' Wales are camped on the edge of the Liechtenstein box looking for a second, Bale then Davies have a go at crosses, it drops to KOUMAS BUT THE LOW DRIVE IS PALMED AWAY BY JEHLA!
    • 62' Koumas with a superb ball to Bale cutting in from the left, and he drills a wonderful low cross into the six-yard box but Evans and Edwards miss it! Great play from the hosts.
    • 60' Bale slides the ball down the left for Bellamy but he's offside again.
    • 58' Edwards over the top for Davies, who looks for Bellamy but blocked for a corner. It's taken short but Liechtenstein read it and counter.
    • 56' WALES SUB: Robinson on for Fletcher.
    • 55' Long ball down the right for Frick, who's in the box and has a crack but it flies over from an acute angle.
    • 53' Wales come forward and Edwards has it in the box, he goes down but no penalty and there's a chance to shoot but straight at Jehle. That looked like a spot-kick to me!
    • 51' WALES SUB: Sam Vokes comes off for Chedwyn Evans. Fans of Wales and haters of Ashley Cole will be delighted to know that the Chelsea left-back just handed Kazakhstan a goal, on a big, garnished platter. 2-1 to England in London.
    • 49' Shocking corner. Short towards the near post with no Liechtenstein player short at the near post. Cleared by Edwards.
    • 48' Frick is played through and he could be in here but a poor second touch allows Williams to get back and kick it out for a corner.
    • 47' Gunter is fouled by Burgmeier and the Darlington man has a snap at the Spurs right-back so the ref tells them to stop flirting and play football.
    • 46' Second half underway in Cardiff!
    • 45+2 Fletcher has a crack from distance but well over the bar. Half-time, 1-0 to Wales but it should be 2-0, yet another missed spot-kick for John Toshack's men.
    • 45' So, Bellamy on his return from injury, Wales's third penalty in three qualifiers, the first two were missed by Bale and Koumas... AND HE MISSED THIS ONE! Oh dear, he drilled it hard down the middle but Jehle's outstretched leg caught the ball and it spun into his arms. Bizarre luck for the Welsh.
    • 44' Corner comes in, Williams comes in on the keeper who falls but no free-kick and Bale is free and he's hacked down by Buhler AND IT'S A PENALTY! Wales get their third penalty in three games!
    • 43' Wales have found their rhythm now, Bale surges in on the left, he plays it across for Vokes BUT BELLAMY CALLS IT AND MUST SCORE BUT SAVED BY JEHLE! Corner Wales.
    • 42' Gunter comes forward, he chips the ball cleverly over to Davies inside on the right, he drills it to the edge of the box AND EDWARDS IS UNMARKED TO SLIDE IT IN OFF THE RIGHT-HAND POST FOR HIS FIRST INTERNATIONAL GOAL! Wales lead.
    • 41' Almost a howler form the centre-half and Bellamy finds Vokes but a poor first touch takes the shot out of the equation, it spins back to Bellamy but Liechtenstein have got back and clear.
    • 39' Koumas is obstructed by Polverino and has a tiny little nibble at him, that could get him in trouble but the ref just has a word. To be honest he didn't actually trip him or kick him, just threatened too before pulling back.
    • 38' Flecther with some space in the middle, tries a shot but just wide. He wants a corner but nothing given. Wales get the ball back though, Davies clips it wide to Koumas who skins his defender like an old Ronaldinho and drills in a superb low cross-shot and Vokes slides in but he can't get there! Gunter was flying in too! Great play by Koumas.
    • 37' Koumas curls it far post looking for Morgan but slightly too high for him and just too deep to sneak in.
    • 36' Solid pressure by Wales these past few minutes, another throw on the left, Koumas with a great bit of skill but Polverino obstructs him, free-kick to Wales on the left wing... Koumas and Bale over it...
    • 34' Great run down the left by Bale, plays it inside and a flick wide from Koumas back to Bale, but the cross it poor. Bale doesn't give up though and wins a corner.
    • 31' Corner to Wales but headed over by Williams.
    • 28' Williams gives the ball away, Beck now into Frick. But Bale gets close on Polverino and makes the tackle.
    • 26' Bellamy again on the edge of the box but this time the shot is well over.
    • 25' Beck is down clutching his ankle after a sliding tackle from Fletcher. He is an amateur and works as a bank clerk. Good times!
    • 23' Fletcher to Bellamy, then to Vokes, back to Bellamy again, this is good stuff from Wales, he takes a touch and drills a shot towards the bottom right but just wide! Nice move.
    • 21' Hennessey forced into action, coming out of his box to clear after a long ball catches Wales out. Frick comes forward now, getting onto a Beck pass from the left, but Wales clear. Bale is annoyed after beating Polverino to a header, feeling he was fouled.
    • 20' Good ball by Edwards through to Bellamy, but he's called offside. Just.
    • 19' Long-range effort from Vokes, well over.
    • 18' The visitors break but there's no final ball and Wales have it back.
    • 17' Bale on the left, good ball in but Bellamy can't control it and Liechtenstein clear...
    • 15' Injury to a Wales player... he looks like he's in some pain, I think it's Fletcher but he seems okay and jogs off. A stray arm in the face I think it was.
    • 14' Martin Buchel is booked for kicking the ball away after a foul by Polverino. He misses the next qualifier.
    • 13' Bellamy leads a Wales counter through the middle, he beats one man, then another and goes left to Koumas who has Buchel in front of him but gets the cross in but it spins out, too deep and a goal kick.
    • 12' Good play by Wales on the left, Davies whips in a cross after a quick throw, it's headed up in the air and falls to KOUMAS WITH A VOLLEY but it flashes over!
    • 11' Some good play from Liechtenstein, knocking the ball around and crossed in by Frick but easy for Hennessey.
    • 9' Short corner from Frick to Beck, now Polverino on the edge of the box, he has a low drive but it goes wide. Wales don't clear well enough and Frick surges into the box and he goes down over a challenge from Morgan but no penalty! Looked like a good tackle to me. And the TV replay shows that it was.
    • 8' Liechtenstein win a corner on the right, after Frick and Burgmeier combine.
    • 7' Edwards almost gets onto a loose ball but Buchel is back to clear.
    • 5' Great run again from Bale, overlapping on the left, but the final ball is blocked for a throw.
    • 3' Bellamy is in space on the left, a great first-touch takes Ritzberger out of the play and he curls in a brilliant shot that Jehle can't keep out and it's off the bar! Vokes flies in for the rebound but the header is blocked and the second follow-up is put wide by Bale flying in!
    • 1' Match underway in Cardiff!
    • - WALES TEAM NEWS: Hennessey in goal despite Myhill's great form for Hull City, while Bellamy returns as expected and is partnered by Vokes. Collins is not considered fit enough to start, Williams plays in his place, while Koumas plays in the middle alongside Fletcher and Wales footballer of the year Simon Davies.
