    • 80' Simao replaced by Deco...
    • 78' Salihovic red carded for Bosnia for dissent, and now we have a delay after the linesman was hit by a missile...

    • 74' Nani replaced by Edinho...
    • 72' CHANCE! It's Meireles again! Clean through, the first touch is exceptional but his volley arcs inches wide of the post!...
    • 68' GREAT DEFENDING! Ferreira stops a certain goal with a superb intervention as Muslimovic waits to pounce...

    • 45' Muslimovic replaces Medunjanin for Bosnia...
    • 45' HALF TIME. 0-0. Thank the Lord we only have 45 minutes left...
    • 42' For those who care, Ireland are beating France 1-0! That's 1-1 on aggregate...
    • 40' Duda leads another Portugal attack but it breaks down at the edge of the box. I like the look of Duda...
    • 37' Yellow card for Nadarevic after a cynical swing of the arm in the direction of little Liedson...
    • 36' Half chance for Bosnia as Ibisevic drives at goal from outside of the box but it's never threatening the target...
    • 35' There are some lovely touches by the Portuguese but we're not getting near either goal. I might have to start making things up! (Don't worry, I won't)...
    • 32' A huge bobble sums up this pitch. The ball leaps up at Simao to waist-height, making it impossible to control the ball...
    • 29' Duda is having a fine game for the visitors...

    • 23' I'd love to say this was a cracking football match, but the pitch is making life really difficult for the players...
    • 21' If you were going into battle, Nani would be the last man you'd take. Even after your Gran. He really needs to knuckle down for Portugal here...
    • 19' SHOT! Ibisevic drives towards goal and shoots from 25 yards but the effort is as tame as Peter Andre...
    • 17' BIG CHANCE! Bajramovic delivers a super cross for Dzeko to feast upon in the centre of Portugal's area, but Pepe matches the forward every step of the way...
    • 15' Even worse by Nani! I'm not joking, this shot was well over 50 yards above the bar - woeful shot!...
    • 13' Shocking shot by Pepe goes at least 35 yards over the bar...
    • 12' Dzeko looks an absolute handful upfront for Bosnia...
    • 10' Portugal have a three-on-three counter attack but Nani slips and the chance is lost...
    • 9' Corner to Bosnia, awful slice by Duda...
    • 7' HALF CHANCE! Lovely skill by Ibisevic opens up a yard inside the Portuguese box, he cuts the ball back but Raul Meireles is on hand to clear the danger...
    • 6' CHANCE! Simao's inswinging corner is glanced at the near post by Tiago but he heads directly at the keeper. Good chance...
    • 5' Corner to Portugal here...
    • 3' It's fair to say it's not a great pitch in Zenica...
    • 2' An early piece of simulation from Nadarevic, awful to see...
    • 1' We are underway, Portugal lead 1-0 from the first leg, but that could all be about to change...
    • - Pjanic and Simao are my two men to watch, both quality footballers...
    • - Portugal are greeted by fierce boos, although it's unclear to this tongue-in-cheek reporter as to whether they are coming from the Portugal fans towards Carlos Quieroz ...
    • - The teams are about to emerge, make your predictions now. I'll go 1-1 on the night, with Portugal qualifying 2-1 on aggregate...
    • - The teams have arrived, Deco only makes the bench for Portugal...
    • - BOSNIA: Hasagic, Nadareviv, Jahic, Pandza, Pjanic, Bajramovic, Ibricic, Medunjanin, Salihovic, Ibisevic, Dzeko
    • - PORTUGAL: Eduardo, Duda, Bruno Alves, Pepe, Carvalho, Paulo Ferreira, Tiago, Raul Meireles, Simao, Nani, Liedson
    • - Nani proved to be Portugal's provider in the first leg, how highly do you Portuguese fans rate the Manchester United man? Far too inconsistent for my money...
    • - Emir Spahic, Elver Rahimic and Samir Muratovic will all be missing from the starting line-ups this evening, which are expected imminently, so Bosnia's hopes rest on the shoulder of nine-goal Edin Dzeko...
    • - The Portuguese hold a slender 1-0 lead, but Bosnia hit the woodwork at least three times in the first leg...this one's not over...

  1. The cheat Ronaldo, and his cheating nation Portugal, scrape through to the World Cup via the corrupt play offs. Oh why oh why couldn't he of lost his legs in that car accident? Ronaldo is the planet's biggest w @ nker. It's a sad day for football

  3. Bosnia had the chance to play play-off thanks to Turkish coach (now ex) Fatih Terim. Bosnia is not a talented world class soccer team and their expectance of taking part in WCup is out of mind in this point of view. Portugal is such a team they'll never beat.

  5. Does anyone of these "knowledgeable"people really knows what happened in Portugal weekago? Yes there is a war in Bosnia, but it is stoped before 13 years!!!!! I do not remember that there is a war in Portugal, but steel they consider our funs like there is a war in Portugal now! I do not know how can you expect some respect from Bosnian funs, if you treated them like trash?????????? And not just from a Bosnian funs, but from any funs in the world!!!
    Shame on you!!!!!!

  6. Before learning to play football Bosnia should learn to respect football! Anyways they were a one off team. Dont think they will have a similar team in the year 2014. They have a long way to go. Moreover they have been fairing horribly of late in the last 6 months including a defeat to Iran.

  10. Some of your comments are just stupid.
First thing - Portugal got the game after that goal. Before that it was a close match.Pitch was bad no doubt,But still you didnt showed anything better then us.A lot of mistakes and lot of bad plays on both sides.Still I dont see a trainer that worried like your was if their team is "dominating".After the goal morale of our players felt down and you could do whatever you wanted to do.Why didnt you scored more goals?Maybe its something that you must work on cause having a 3 on 1,4 on 2 ,5 on 3 counter attacks and not scored single goal is just bad play, just like we have to work and learn from our mistakes.Same thing happened with Spain which gave us a 2 quick goals which had effect on our players and their morale.
Second thing - What did our fans did to your players?First visit some sites and see what Serbian fans did to our fans in Serbia last qualifications in a crucial game. Our fans got there to cheer for our country.Got there healthy and got back without fingers, broken arms, legs heads, and not only that.On stadium there was a nationalism posts,a couple of them and they didnt get removed, but our ones which didnt had anyyyyy nationalism messagges were stolen by their police..All thaaaat that we in Bosnia could see noone else couldnt. Why?Cause FIFA doesnt care about small countries, because they dont care. But if One portugal player or fan even broke his nail all the WORLD KNOWS...Why some of our fans were unfair is because of big pressure and importence of the match.Translating from one of our sites here from a fans:We know that it isnt a fair play and is wrong but We are simply to excited know, and we want to go to WC.And incident on tonight game and throwing things on field is just something that our fans do all the time.I dont like it and I know it gives a bad picture of our fans and hole nation but it simply cant stop.
Portugal still played better and you deserved the win in the end.Congrats on that and wish you l
