  2. I think it is time the world realize how good southamerican football is... European one is too mechanic.... only robots playing... I do not knwo for instance how a team like switzerland can call Football the kind of game they play... just trying to wait for the rival to make a mistake to see the POSSIBILITY to Maybe attempt soemthing.... straight , dynamic, explosive and full of talent football is teh one we are used to see in southamerica....
Today, you can see that the only teams with perfect points are southamerican, except netherlands... the great surprise you all will see in thsi world cup is a small southamerican team focused in winning the world cup... CHILE .... yes chile.... we have the heart, we have the guts...... we are human sport men playing football and you know what... BLOODY ENJOYING IT.... CHILE WORLD CHAMPION SOUTHAFRICA 2010

    No southamerican has lost.

  6. "it is the latin culture to cheat and steal"- that is a totally offensive comment. There have been a number of players who "act" on the pitch. Infact I remember Klinsman being known for it. I would have expected someone from a nation that is constantly stereotyped as being cold, clinical and devoid of passion that you'd be wary of making borderline racist comments.

  7. Aurelias you're talking through your bottom you muppet Chile one fair and square and the Swiss were donkeys who were lucky not to get more sent off

  9. I thought with all the cards the team that gets through to the next stage will have to field a reserve team, I'm glad the most negative team in this competition has been beaten!

  10. Nice one Chile,I like the way you play, all out attack for the entire game, entertaining, swashbuckling football.Hopefully you lose to Spain after Spain win tonight and you both go through,Switzerland in the next round is bad for football.

  14. .........the world cup should be for the best teams in the world. its about football not geography! @ray.ridge19.

I want to believe that you are educated ray.ridge19. Then check out the literary meaning of the word "World", to see if you can remove its geographical relevance. I will advise you use more of your senses before making uninformed comments. The World Cup is not entirely about winning, its about engendering friendship, love and all the camaraderie that sports can bring. Its about PARTICIPATION!. Removing African teams or whatever team from the world cup for poor performance is like Banning a pupil from going to school just because s/he couldn't pass an exam.

  15. The officials all strut around like they have a pole shoved firmly up their @**es. They clearly feel they are the attraction and not the players. They need to be slapped down a notch. Clearly if players played this poorly, any half decent coach would have them off the pitch by halftime and they'd be on their way to a lower league or out of football entirely unless their attitude improved dramatically in a very short time.
