  7. Many congrats to the septics, you played hard and won hard. I must admit i didnt even think that you would progress to the last 16 let alone top the group, but you have proven me and no doubt many others wrong. Good work. Best of luck against whoever you get in the next round ( although as an England supporter im really hoping that you get germany (no offence lol), as they look like they are quite tasty this time round

but still best of british to you guys, you bloody deserved it, and certainly showed the three lions where there weaknesses where.

you never know we could get a re-match in the semis lol

  8. Lets not forget it is only a game, a mere distraction to the complications of the real World. Whatever the outcome, whatever the sport, it is only intended to entertain those that play and those that watch.

  15. Adheeb... it is really refreshing to see someone give congratulations where it is due and cheer on the other guy at the same time!. What an adult concept! USA did deserve this win... They've out played their opponents in all the games played.... and amongst bad calls, they still come out winners... WELL deserved!

  17. England were shocking today, and I do not know why England fans are getting so excited. They were poor in the second half, they were just lucky that Slovenia were terrible. If Germany win tonight they will face England in the Last 16 and then it is over for England. They don't stand a chance against Germany. It is amazing how BBC were praising the team, typical English Analysis. They were brutal and will not get very far.

From Alex, on Thu 24 Jun 7:52
  18. well played usa...deserved to go though after disallowed goal...but c'mon england!!

From Adheeb, on Thu 24 Jun 7:51
  19. @John W - Yeah, the Americans cheated. That's ironic. How do you figure? Perhaps we cheat by plotting to have our own goals disallowed and by smashing our faces into defender's elbows. After chesting or heading the ball maybe we run to the official and say, "Y'know I think I really deserve a yellow card because I thought about handling it there - in fact you should suspend me for a game". Maybe we like to cuddle with defenders in the box so that it only looks as if they are wrestling us to the ground. Now that I've thought about it, I can really see where you're coming from.
