The problem with Hamilton is he's a great racer if he thinks he can win on the day. But if he doesn't believe - like today - he was going backwards at the end!

  5. @Keith I thought the highlight was Schumacher wheelchair past Hamilton. That was great.

  7. Allen, which is it? Is it McLaren incompetence, or F1 rigging the tyres which is hampering Lewis? They had great stops today, so you can't claim it is a mechanic. And to be clear do you mean to say that the commercial rights holders (F1) are in collusion with Perelli to supply defective tyres to some teams, or are they providing superior tyres to other teams?

  8. I couldn't help but wonder what kind of upgrades McLarens brings to the car that appears to be the best at the beginning of this season. I am seriously disappointed at the present McLarens management, as it is clear that they are massively deluded about the performance of their car, hence their reason for channelling all energies towards pit crew. I do congratulate them for sorting out the pit issues, while waiting to see them learn from the likes of Ferrari, Lotus Renault and Red Bull and come up with tangible and meaningful upgrades that will propel them back to the front before the championship race finally slip off

Pretty much a boring race, was'nt upbeat from Saturday's qually when they gave teams a chance to come back when they should'nt off. I do have to congratulate Mark Webber on his win, he drove well but I think Alonso drove better and should of won. I on the other hand am a Mclaren fan and was a little disappointed in there performance as a team, not the drivers. Mclaren's problem I feel being the size team they are, don't seem able to make the most of the least information that's available like others teams. Red bull do very well with very little, like other teams, Ferarri have even adjusted to this and it's started to show....But ...tut! tut! Mclaren have not or show a lack of consistency which is horrible to see. Hope all changes and things come good for them and drivers. I don't think anything will happen at the end of the season in the way of the top drivers moving, althou would be nice for a change to spice things up.

What a fantsatic race...... Humiliating for Alponso to overtaken in the last few laps on the outside of the bend....Fantastic driving by Webber and some interesting battles going on further back up the track..... A brilliant race, really enjoyed it...

  11. what the hell is going on with maclaren two great drivers but the 5th best car they need to get there finger out and sharpish they are going backwards and that's difficult to to watdh.

Highlight of the race Lewis on old tyres racing Alonso with his new boots on either. Maclaren give togive Lewis a competative car , Jensen showed the true potential of the car, or Lewis should have a walk over to Lotus or Ferrari pit and ask about a drive. At the moment Lewis is carrying maclaren on his shoulders

The "supposed" #2 driver at Red Bull Mark Webber is really doing great. If he leaves Red Bull, the Lewis should seriously consider going there.

I say it time and time again, but Lewis needs to get away from MacLaren - and quickly. He is the best racer on the F1 circuit, but if the team don't screw him with a messed up pit stop they do it with an awful set up and race strategy. They are team being taken down and down by Whitmarsh..............

From Ummmm, on Sun 8 Jul 14:31
  16. This has nothing to do with the set up of the car, the fact is that the design of that car isnt good enough to win races

You can go ahead and crown Red Bull with the Constructors Championship.

  18. I think the step nose was the right direction to take, cuz if you look at all the front cars leading the race, all their nose are stepped

From Abasi, on Sun 8 Jul 14:15
  19. They should have left Hamilton out longer because he was gaining on Kimi.

  20. Formula One is rigging the tires and its turned Mclaren into a joke.
