There's the chequered flag! 1:21.281 from Kubica puts him second, 1:21.326 from Glock. Kovalainen then takes second, before Hamilton comes over in 1:20.899 to improve again and take his fourth pole of the Championship!
2' One minute to go, and Hamilton is on pole as things stand. Lots of cars on the track now!
3'
Hamilton, Glock, Massa, Raikkonen, Webber and Trulli are the top six with two minutes to go. Hamilton is now going out on the hard tyres.
4'
But here's Hamilton! He crosses the line in 1.20:974, and that's a provisional pole position for the Championship leader.
5' Kubica crosses the line in 1:22.061 to go third, while Alonso records 1:22.287 to go fourth. A 1:21.705 from Raikkonen puts him third, just behind Massa who has crept into second.
6' Robert Kubica is out there now in the BMW, and Alonso has joined him.
7' No sign of the big guns as yet...
8'
Glock clocks a leisurely 1:21.326; Trulli a 1.21:991.
9' Glock sets off on his first timed lap, with Trulli not far behind him.
10'
So, Q3. Here we go. Just 10 minutes now for the 10 fastest drivers from Q1 and Q2. The McLarens look fastest, but can Hamilton secure pole ahead of his team-mate Kovalainen and the Ferraris?
13:45
Q2 is over. Nico Rosberg, Sebastien Bourdais, David Coulthard, Jenson Button and Sebastian Vettel will miss Q3, which begins shortly.

The chequered flag is waved, and Piquet goes ninth in the Renault, before being usurped by Mark Webber. A 1:20.332 is much better for Button, but it leaves him 12th.
1' We're into the last minute! Everyone but the top five is out on the track trying to improve their times.
2' One minute to go! Rosberg, Bourdais, Button, Piquet and Coulthard are in the bottom five at the moment.
3' A 1.19:480 lap from Kovalainen moves him fourth.
4' A fly has just hit Kovalainen's in-car camera with commendable artistic effect.
5' Massa, Glock, Hamilton, Raikkonen, Kovalainen, Trulli is the top six as things stand.
6'
The Heidfeld-Bourdais incident is reportedly being investigated by the stewards, so we'll let you know the outcome. In the Frenchman's defence, there wasn't much he could do.
7'
Massa comes home in 1:19.068, four tenths of a second quicker than Hamilton, and that's enough to put him in the lead.
8' Here's Hamilton. He's really working the car, and a time of 1:19.473 takes him second. Glock still leads.
9' Jarno Trulli speeds through the first sector of the track, and crosses the line in 1:19.666 to go third. And then Piquet crosses in 1:20.760 to go fifth.
11'
Glock posts an early target of 1:19.246.
12'
Kimi Raikkonen is out there now, and the news coming out of the garages is that the soft tyres are losing grip on the second half of the circuit.
13' After a leisurely circuit, Glock begins his first timed lap...
14' Timo Glock is out first, and he looked pretty tasty in the third free practice session this morning.
15'
Q2 begins, and there are just 15 minutes available to the remaining drivers now.
13:25 The bad news for Ferrari (and everyone else) is that McLaren look very comfortable here. Massa may be sitting in second at the moment, but he really had to work for his fastest lap.
13:22
And Q1 finishes, with Sutil, Fisichella, Nakajima, Barrichello and Nick Heidfeld set for an early bath. Button creeps into 15th, but Heidfeld is furious after getting caught behind Sebastien Bourdais. Next up, Q2!
0'
The time is up in Q1, but there are still a few cars out on the track...
2' One minute to go! A 1:22.113 lap is no good to Sutil because it keeps him 20th.
3'
The Ferraris are struggling with the tight corners here, and the early indications are that this could be another good weekend for McLaren, but a 1:19.578 from Massa moves him up to second.
4' Rosberg, currently lying in 18th, is going to be sent out again on a new set of tyres.
5' Rubens Barrichello, Adrian Sutil, Giancarlo Fisichella, Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima are currently in the drop zone with about four minutes to go.
8' Fernando Alonso runs wide onto the grass near the finish line. He's really trying to push everything out of his car.
9' A speedy 1:19.993 from Toyota's Jarno Trulli takes him third. Coulthard has completed more laps than anyone else at this stage.
11' Piquet is out early, and he's looking to build on that superb second-placed finish last time out at the German Grand Prix.
12'
But Hamilton registers a 1:19.376 lap to ease to the top of the timesheet. The McLarens are purring already.
13'
A time of 1:20.156 puts Kovalainen first, and that's quicker than his team-mate Hamilton managed this morning.
14' 1:21.432 takes Jenson Button (Honda) fourth, before his team-mate Rubens Barrichello comes over in sixth.
15'
A 1:20.258 lap from Glock puts him in first place as things stand, before Sebastien Bourdais (Toro Rosso) goes second with 1:21.089.
17'
Vettel completes his first lap in a time of 1:21.464. Hamilton's 1:20.228 was the fastest time this morning. Red Bull's David Coulthard then comes over in 1:21.699, putting him second.
20'
Q1 gets under way, and Sebastian Vessel of the Toro Rosso team is the first driver out on the track.
12:58
It's a sweltering 30 degrees celsius here at the Hungaroring, which'll make it pretty darn uncomfortable in the cars. Not long to go now...
12:55
Qualifying, for the uninitiated, is split into three sections (Q1, Q2 and Q3), with the five slowest drivers of the section dropping out after Q1 and Q2. Hamilton was the fastest around the track this morning, followed by Felipe Massa (Ferrari), Timo Glock (Toyota), Heikki Kovalainen (McLaren) and Nelson Piquet (Renault).
12:45 Good afternoon and welcome to eurosport.yahoo.com's LIVE coverage of qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest. Lewis Hamilton was fastest in this morning's third and final free practice session, and grid placement will be all-important due to the lack of over-taking opportunities at the Hungaroring. We're due to get under way at 13:00 BST.
