1' Vettel is now in eight but having said that he is ahead of Button and Barrichello which is some kind of consolation.
3' Lewis Hamilton seems to be very confident at the moment driving very aggresively getting an even faster lap of 1:21:207.
4' Jenson Button is in ninth #plus;0.916 slower than is compatriot...
6' Hamilton is not letting go of his number one spot lightly again overtaking Massa's time clocking up 1:21:502 to go back into first.

9' Vettel on his team radio is not happy complaining about his pump being too hot!
12' 19 year old Jaime Alguersuari on super soft tyres is looking impressive +1.097 meaning he is now in 5th spot.
13' Kovalainen clocks up +0.340 slower pushing him into 3rd.

16 Alonso's lead laster barely a minute with Hamilton back into pole position.
17 Sutil has crashed out into the barriers on the entry into turn 9.
18' Alonso does overtake Hamilton into 1st position driving -0.006 faster!
20' It's now Alonso who moves into 2nd hunting down his old teammate just over +0.089 over Hamilton's time.
20' Raikkonen is now in 6th spot after clocking up just over half a second slower than Hamilton.
25' Alguersuari is looking much better today after finishing in 20th position in Q2. He's now in 2nd position as the chasing pack are fighting amongst them selves to knock Hamilton off the top.
28' Lewis Hamilton said after Q2 that he still has a lot of work to do to maintain his performance: "We've refined the improvements we had at the Nurburgring and they seem to be working, but we've still got a lot of work to do to beat the Red Bulls particularly. Nevertheless, it's encouraging to be able to push the car I'm happier with it than I've been all season. The front row would be beautiful but, to be honest, I'm just aiming to get into Q3."
31' Massa is sitting in 10th position at this moment but Kubika is closing in on Hamilton's time lying 2nd at this moment.

Kovalainen continues where he left off yesterday, setting the low mark as his team-mate Hamilton sets off. And a good lap for the defending world champion as he goes fastest again.

Every driver has had an installation lap now and currently Jarno Trulli is out on track. The Toyota driver finished eighth yesterday and will be looking to improve on that. 1:30.122 for Trulli as Rosberg starts his lap.

A quick look at the weather: it's much cooler than yesterday, with fairly strong winds and quite alot of cloud cover. It is dry, but generally not as warm or sunny as you'd expect in Hungary this time of the year.

Hamilton's out on track for an early lap. In second practice on Friday he set a benchmark of 1:22.079 and will be looking for a repeat performance this morning.
